As a rule I do not go to this McDonald's at all on Bellefontaine Road and 270. Passing it today I decided to stop after about a year of going there. I never will again. I am going to say McDonald's is truly trying to comply with having good food, and they surely have value if you are low on money. The things they have that are good luck, the fish, the chicken, the fries even though the fries have a story that's not the best they taste delicious and look great. They have salads but nothing that is going to wow you, but for a work lunch they are good. Bathrooms usually are not the cleanest but I have seen worse. Nutrition is not the number one goal, but they try. Feeding people and making some cash is what it's about. Quick and fast is what they are.and feeding the masses a meal. If you are hungry and need a quick bite this is the place. Been around for ages and when they start making plant based burgers and more they will be back in good graces. read more

The young ladies in the drive thru was nice! How ever the pice and customer service of the manager is what give them a 2! They apparently don't do breakfast sandwiches that don't come with cheese and eggs and even though you don't get the cheese and eggs you are still charged for it! So I order sausage McGriddle no egg or cheese meal with large coffee and sausage burrito! I get bacon biscuit with cheese and eggs meal and burrito! Go inside manager look at me twice one when I take the sandwich and receipt out the back and then again when he hand drive thru a bag! I had to say excuse me after 5 minutes of just standing there ! This is seriously horrible, I stayed in the drive-thru window 5-8 min no one took an order. When I looked back at the line (0016-0024) there were 6 cars waiting to place an order, how ever there were employees giving each other hi-fives at the lobby door. When I pulled-up to the window to enquire if they were open or not the employee claimed they were short staffed. This happened on June 9 between 0015-0025. I then inquired if they were open or closed, he stAted they were simply short staffed. I recommend they permanently closed this location. Meanwhile their competitors lines were extremely long. Poor leadership and poor management, do not ever think you would ever receive a decent meal at this location. ITS HORRIBLE! read more

This is a McDonald's whose employees too often think it's a place of socializing instead of a place conducting business. On 3/13/15 at 6:40pm, with very few customers in store due to inclement weather, they got the order totally wrong. When I called to complain, the manager said, "Do you want to come back?" I ordered fish. I'm a Catholic and cannot eat meat on Friday. What did they give me? Cheeseburgers. They don't get it. My time and transportation are valuable and driving in bad weather for their mistake is an insult. Go to the Steak 'n Shake next door, they never have this issue. read more

Well it's official , I am Completely done with the McDonalds on Bellefontaine in Spanish Lake. The other night when I got off work I order some McDonald through Doordash at 8:50p . I ordererd a Big Mac and 3 McChickens. At 9:00p the Doordasher arrived at the restaurant. At 9:15 the Doordasher called me and said they didn't have anymore burgers and I was like ok I still got my McChicken and the doordasher proceeded to tell me oh they also don't have no buns...WHAT?!! If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. This is the WORST McDonalds, if not worst establishment I've ever tried to patronize. Tonight, the location's main door was locked at 10:35pm-stated dining room hours are until 11pm. Cars were lined up at the drive through, waiting. I thought people were being served, but by the time I got to the ordering position, it was totally dead. I waited for 15 minutes before driving away. As I drove by the serving windows, it appeared that no one was in the building. During previous evening orders, I have found it common to wait 40 minutes in the drive-thru line to receive your order, have order errors, and generally poor service. I only go here because it's on the way to and from work-I drive past the building whenever I leave my house. If you can get inside, the facility is always clean-there's a really nice older gentleman who does good work there, but the people behind the counter are the definition of unprofessionalism. Complaint-The card reader or something is down constantly at this one so they can only accept cash.This has happened 3 out of the last 5 times. It wouldn't be so bad if they had a sign or something outside letting you know but after you sit through the forever long line and then they tell you that, its incredibly annoying. this is literally the shittiest mcdonalds ive ever been to, when i was at the drive thru menu they said my order was $18.65 and when i got to the window they charged me $5.25 then when i confronted the worker she got a manager to change it for me and then when i went to the next window they told me to wait at the reserved parking and i waited literally 46 fucking minutes until i came in and i had to wait another 10 minutes because they didnt cook it yet, and when i got my food they only gave me 8 nuggets and i ordered a 10 piece. i wouldve gotten a refund but i was so hungry. bottom of the line 1.5 out of 10 customer service and the food was decent if they want to be successful in the future they need to fire some of the workers there because it seems like there working just to get a paycheck and not please the customers. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. They certainly don't deserve 1. I've already reported them to their corporate office and the owner, James. The women that run that place at 2am are rude, nasty, disrespectful, and overall disgusting. We sat in the left hand drive through lane for 15 minutes. While we sat, we noticed that the right hand lane was taking orders and passed 3 vehicles in front of us without even acknowledging our presence. We assumed that there must be a malfunction with the speaker box, so we pulled forward to the glass and asked if we could place our order, but we were met with contempt and horribly, antagonistic attitudes. They said, "Well, I'm responsible for the left lane, but you're going to have to get out of my line and drive through again." Seriously? How, in this day and age, are people overlooked, and then talked to like we're trash? We are the ones marching for you to have a livable wage at these jobs, but after the service, and response we received just for merely asking if we could place the order face-to-face, you don't deserve anything above minimum wage. In all my years, I have never received such horrible, and nasty service. I never take the time to write bad reviews, but for this establishment, I'll make an exception. I was with a doctor and we were stunned at the lack of professionalism at this establishment. I will never come back here ever. Maybe they were rude because we were gay. I plan to file a complaint with our local LGBT advocacy center and the ACLU, and see if a boycott of this establishment is warranted. Absolutely disgusting! Save your money folks. I stopped here for lunch a few weeks ago to myself, my husband, our children, my sister and my nephew food. I walk in and there isn't a line. I order my food and step away. My sister was next in line and a lady just cuts in front of her and the employees do t say anything. When we say something they said "oh well she works here." I'm sorry but whether she works there or not doesn't mean she doesn't have to wait in line like everyone else. Then she proceeds to stand there and have a conversation with the manager and everyone else behind the counter. Meanwhile my sister and now 5 other customers came in and were waiting as well. I finally say that there are people waiting to order so a girl rolls her eyes and walks to the register and take my sisters and the other customers orders. My number gets called and I go up to grab this food and this same lady that cuts in line grabs my bag and takes a fry out of it like it's hers. I said "umm that's my order. She called my number."
