This is McDonald's, so expectations are already appropriately low, and somehow this location still manages to meet them in the most average way possible. It's always busy, no matter the time of day, and because of that it's also always slow. Drive-thru or inside, it doesn't really matter. You'll wait. The food is what you expect from McDonald's, sometimes hot, sometimes not, always familiar. Service is meh. Not rude, not great, just people doing a job and clearly counting down the minutes. Orders are usually correct, which feels like a win these days. The inside is the biggest downside. It smells like urine more often than it should, which really discourages dining in. Because of that, this is very much a grab-your-food-and-leave kind of place. Overall, it's McDonald's. It exists, it feeds you, and that's about it. I'll still come back when I need something quick, but I'm not lingering longer than necessary. read more

One star only because it requires I give something.. We went to McDonald's yesterday because my kids wanted nuggets, ok fine! We hit the drive through and are told we have to wait a bit for our order so to "pull through to the 3rd window." As we're waiting I'm noticing about 6 cars leave the drive through behind us and 5 cars get their order taken out in the parking spots, still no food for us and it's been about 15 minutes! My husband waves down the food runner and mentions we're still waiting on our order, gives the guy the receipt and the guy goes in to check on it for us. Comes to the 3rd window with an order that the kitchen claims is ours--it's not! So he runs it to the waiting car. My husband then decides to go in and deal with it as it's now been 30 minutes and the runner gives him his receipt back. When he asked about our food we were told it's been sitting in the window waiting for us, the runner gets upset that he was never told to take it out and it was left there to get cold. My husband asked for the food to be recooked as it's been sitting for 30 minutes and that he wanted a refund. The manager refunded him and said the kitchen wasn't operating like it should and apologized. When we got our food home, my husband's quarter pounder with cheese was a patty on a bun with giant hunks of onions--no cheese, no sauce of any kind, and the fries were rubber. My cheeseburger with only ketchup and pickles had onions on the bottom that were burnt beyond recognition and more resembled mouse poop than onions! I threw it out so no food for me! But as I told my husband, they refunded us so whatever. At least the kid's happy meals were fine! Looked at my bank account and we still have no refund showing from McDonald's and I'm incredibly irritated with their lack of care for food people are supposed to eat. This is by far the worst McDonalds in Fayetteville. Came here to grab a quick breakfast. Burritos were definitely older than this morning. Crusty, hard burrito shells, 1/4 of normal portion, and cheese that was consistent with wax. I couldn't stomach eating it. The orange juice was watered down, as well as the caramel iced coffee. We requested cream and sugar for the coffee, and that didn't happen. I got a stale black coffee, and the iced coffee was consistent with pouring non sweet creamer over ice and a splash of sour coffee. This place is BAD. Vet owned but certainly not operated. As a veteran small business owner, I ensure quality and hopefully the owner is unaware of the atrocity that's being done, and can potentially fix the situation. First time we had breakfast our plate came with no forks and drinks had no straws (not sure if this has something to do being in the mainland where you have to ask for what you need). It literally took me 20 minutes to get a small cup and fill myself after waiting 15 minutes in the drive-thru line before making it to window 2. The drive-thru employee at the 2nd window doesn't have a clue. When I finally made it to window 2, I was handed the kids meal and a large half and half tea. Me and my boyfriend went to this McDonald's before we left to go to my parents house for Easter. We ordered two breakfast burritos with our meal. When we got to the second window we were told that they don't have breakfast burritos and asked what we would like to replace it with. I said that I just wanted a refund and not to worry about replacing it with anything because I really didn't want anything else. They told us to pull forward and then proceeded to come out with two burritos when apparently they didn't have any. On top of all this the service was extremely rude.
