Why do I continue to come here? I have a child that likes McDonald's. So occasionally as a treat I let him pick dinner and he chooses McDonald's. I'm not the biggest fan of McDonald's. But this review is about THIS location. Atrocious. Every single time. Atrocious!!! This particular McDonald's is an abomination to the name McDonald's. They are terrible and they don't care. Actually I think they may take some sort of sick pride in being terrible? The staff are the worst. Impolite. They don't care about you, they don't care about your order, they don't care about their job. They speak as few of words as possible. Zero eye contact. Barely comprehensible speech. And whoa. The one thing they are good at? Screwing up your order. Tonight we ordered a two cheeseburger meal, a double cheeseburger, a deluxe spicy McCrispy chicken meal, two six-piece chicken McNuggets, both with buffalo sauce. Our order was missing: One cheeseburger Two orders of fries Both Buffalo sauces We ordered through the app and picked up at the window. They thrust the bag out the window, closed the window, and ignored us. I had to wait to get their attention. When I explained the missing items I was met with an eye roll. They asked for my receipt. They asked me to give them the bag back. I had to tell them three times what was missing. Then the missing items were thrust back out. No apology. No acknowledgment. Annnd we still never got the buffalo sauces. The literal worst. This place sucks. read more

Fast food restaurants are what they are, Fast Food. I know these places always get bad reviews and never any good ones. I myself don't normally eat at fast food restaurants unless we are in a rush. As for this particular day we had an event to get to and my husband's hair appointment took a little longer than expected, so McDonald's it was. My little one was with us so his order is always a plain cheeseburger happy meal. I checked the app before ordering and saw there was a free happy meal deal with an order, so naturally I selected it to get the code. My husband ordered a McChicken for us to share. When I first ordered, I was told to just pull up to the first window for my total. When I got there the cashier reconfirmed my order and saw I gave a code for a happy meal, however the code wasn't going through. Supposedly a cheeseburger isn't an option for the coupon, so rather than making it difficult she "discounted" the happy meal and we just paid for the McChicken. My son was very grateful. As I'm driving a take a bite of the McChicken and to my surprise it was fresh, crispy and juicy. I've had many McChickens and this was the best one I've had. read more

so i go and order a crispy chicken meal and a 20pcs nuggets meal get home with it and.. chicken sandwich is naked as a baby's bum, literally a bun and a well overdone chicken patty the nuggets were passable the fries tasted like they came from about 10 am , its now 6pm when i ordered. the drinks were basically colored water, not actual sodas and there were zero sauce packets for the nuggets. if i could give a zero i would. This is the McDonald's that I live the closest to, but I will drive a little further to the Airways location because I have never had a good experience at this one. I mostly placed my order on the mobile app very easy. It's usually just one meal a drink maybe a strawberry pie and I order on my app to make it easy and quick however this has actually happened to me four times and I don't even know why I allowed it to get to four. I should've stopped at two but that's not here or there. So ordering on the mobile app supposed to be easy convenient you pull up give your code maybe stop at window one sometimes not at the other ones I don't this one. I don't know. Get the window too maybe within two minutes at the most you get your food and you drive on but not at this one at this one if you pull up, I'm gonna give it as early as 8 o'clock 8 PM. You pull up to the speaker box and the minimum time for someone to come on the speaker and speak to you. I have waited one time 12 minutes and a lot of people say why would you wait 12 minutes why don't you just drive around to the window because that's not how it's set up and that's not what I'm supposed to Do and I'm not rude. I either assume they're busy someone's understaffed and they're doing multiple things or maybe they didn't hear the ding when I pulled up either way I only know the 12 minute one because I pressed my record on my camera just to see how long and I had probably already been sitting there for a few minutes and the camera footage at 12 minutes and 36 seconds. The person came on the speaker and said our system is down now understandable OK I drove off. Canceled my order re-ordered it at the other one, but this has happened more than once. That's where it becomes a problem. It's either their system is down. I've had one time they just flat out said we're closed, but after a few times of that happening, I pulled over to the Starbucks because I see other people coming through and I'm like I just wanna see what experience they get and I literally see the cars coming to the second window and they're getting DoorDash orders so your system works for DoorDash orders, but it doesn't work for mobile and it doesn't work for people pulling up to just place an order but your DoorDash order works OK I just amongst other things they're always out of ice. The customer service is never pleasant not just mediocre. It's just either they don't speak to you at all. You pull up they handle your stuff say thank you they don't say nothing. They just close the window. That's just over a few years that I've been to this one just overall I'll say after 8 o'clock just keep on driving to the next one the one on Airways. It's really good no matter what time I pulled up. Someone speaks to me right away even when they're busy and I've had a few hiccups here too with having to wait pull up. They forgot about me once they told me to pull up but that's understandable. Things happen but I'll say none out of the 10 times it's been a good experience at the airways location this one no I wouldn't recommend my enemy here not to mention when you have to cancel your order on the mobile app if it's been over a certain amount of time that you placed the order your refund now takes a couple days to come back there has been times where it's came back immediately but there's also been times where I've had to wait so re-ordering you can't use your rewards that you use because you already use them for that day so trying to replace the same order that you just placed. You're gonna pay more because you can't use your rewards because you've already used them and they haven't been reimbursed to you and you can only use them one time a day so stay out inconvenient that can be the store just needs some heavy auditing going on after 8 PM maybe a secret shop maybe a Manager needs to pull up late night just to see what goes on after 8 PM and maybe they're aware and they don't care that's fine too, but I would suggest after 8 PM. Came through last night around 11:10pm or so. There was a very rude employee that served me, she was African American and had cornrows. From the moment I got to the speaker, she was very rude. Not only was my order incorrect, but the patties on my burgers were burnt and sloppy. At that point, I didn't trust her to remake my food so I asked for a refund. She got really unprofessional when I asked for a refund. Stating "the guy on our grill is new, and also that there are other cars behind me." I waited for service like all of the cars behind me, at the end of the day, I shouldn't be paying for horrible food. She then stated "my manager won't let me give you a refund for an order this big". I've never heard of the "policy". When I finally do get a refund, she snatches the bags from my hands. She is lucky I was tired cause I would've started a whole scene. This is literally the worst McDonald's in Desoto county. Our order was simple. 20 piece spicy nugget with ranch, a 10 piece regular nugget meal with sweet and sour and a couple drinks. We went to pay and she said 10 spicy nuggets and we said no it's supposed to be 20, that's what's on the order. She rolls her eyes and tells us to pull forward. What we got: 10 piece Reg meal with cold fries 10 piece spicy nuggets (wrong and cold) 5 random bbq sauces?? We go back around and tell them know we're missing 10 spicy nuggets. The previous girl just points, doesn't even acknowledge us. We get the bag and we got 20 REGULAR nuggets.... I mean, you can't make this up. I've been to this location just a few times and it seems like the drive thru (at least) is run inefficiently. The wait time for the amount of cars there seems imbalanced in a bad way. My wait time for just a large coke was pretty dang long, especially considering there was only one car in front of me. I only come to this location if I have to, otherwise I avoid it. read more

i visited your location today after a long flight with my family. Since we did not land until 11 PM, this McDonald's was the only thing open. We got in line via the drive-through to order a number six which is the 10 piece nugget and fries. I also noticed that in the first line a police woman was also waiting to order. After 15 minutes of waiting with the car ahead of us seemingly placing an order as well we were informed at 11:41 PM that the store closed at 11: 40 p.m.. Again, my family and I had been waiting in line over 15 minutes along with the police officer that had been waiting in line prior to me getting a line. At 11:41, I was asked if I was picking up for DoorDash once I informed that I was not and that I wanted to place the order, and have been waiting for over 10 minutes. I was informed that the store was closed and the time I was informed this was at 11:41 PM when I asked why wasn't I notified since I have been waiting for so long I was simply told the store is closed. When I pulled around to get the contact information for the owner of this location, the cashier open the window and I told her that I wanted to get the owner information. She said "OK" and closed the window. Prior to this visit, I have not visited this McDonalds and please believe that I will not visit this location moving forward. It was most disheartening also to see that a member of our city's law enforcement was unable to be served as well, due to this location closing early and not informing customers that were already waiting in line. Customer service is lacking here....McDonald's team leaders could learn a lot from their friends across the road (Chick fil-A). Hey, I just finished eating McDonald's and I found a roach in my phone and that was very unsanitary. It was very nasty and it was still alive. I don't know how it got in my big deluxe McChicken I will not appreciate going there ever again and I had to check my babies food and I had to check my food and I had two twin boys and one of them is already have health issues so I don't want him to either roach and him die. 24hr. Restaurant that does not serve food 24hrs. It's 4:30 am. After making three cars wait 20 min at drive thru. Me being the third in line still at the money collection window I knock on the window. I ask is there some kind of problem? Casually the cashier says "There ain't no breakfast food ready yet" Almost as if to say I should know better than to show up at 4:30am and expect to get a breakfast sandwich. Really? What is the purpose of them being there and open 24hrs? I can see several employees walking around. Do any of them care about the people outside waiting for food? Seems not. The Getwell McDonalds in Southaven MS is the WORST McDonalds! Very Rude associates, the food is NOT edible (on numerous occasions). The so called manager doesn't have a clue about customer service and fresh food. I will never spend my money at this McDonalds again! If you complain about your meal they talk to you like a dog! If you go through the drive through, you'll easily have to wait 30-40 minutes before you'll even pay, much less get your order. Standard McDonalds fare, occasional screw-ups intact. Once, I was accidentally given a family's order of a few burgers instead of my own. I ate the burgers anyway and, as it typically goes, became very lightheaded and blacked out. I woke up a few hours later in the bed of my truck. Ate here. The ice machine had no ice. There were 2 customers in the entire restaurant. I told one of the front counter workers that there was no ice. She stared at me, not even acknowledging I said anything. The other customer said they had already told them about the ice as well.
