Very clean restaurant men's restroom included, staff were very professional and polite. The manger assured that I was taken care of and they my order was correct even though it was a simple 2 cheeseburgers and a Dr. Pepper no ice! Awesome fast service!!

There are certain things that are important to a girl...for me, that would be a Diet Coke. I tend to be very picky about my Diet Coke...I like fountain drinks. I want a refreshing, fizzy, thirst quenching beverage! And I want a consistent flavor. I hate when it is flat or simply has an OFF flavor. With McDonalds, I get a consistently good product for a reasonable price. That makes me a happy girl! Another truly important thing to a a girl would be calories, i.e. watching your weight/calories. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about how bad the food is for you at McDonalds! The food is only as bad as the choices YOU make. I'm not a fast food fan in general, however, when I'm headed to work and my stomach is growling...it's nice to know they I can have a 300 calorie breakfast burrito. For my hard earned buck I get protein in the form of sausage, cheese, and eggs and the 300 calories fits into my diet as well as my budget. They also have yogurt granola parfaits and oatmeal with fruit. For me, it just makes sense. Other points to mention would be...play areas for kids, clean restrooms, free WiFi so you can type up your Yelp reviews while your grandson happily plays. Nice decor, flat panel TVs, and free refills on my beverage of choice, Diet Coke.

It's about a 50/50 shot if you're going to get what you ordered. Pretty pathetic for such an easy task.

I've been buying cows for about 11 years. I have 3 farmer buddies I buy from, and through them,…read moreI've used multiple butchers. I can confidently say that Paradise has been the worst butcher I've ever used. Is the product I received good? No. Did I receive everything I paid for? No. I've been buying through this specific farmer friend for about two years now. He decided to try out Paradise because they are closer to him, as opposed to driving several hours to the butcher we had used before. Well, this is where the nightmare began. He picked up the beef and delivered it to my house on a Saturday morning. He and I unloaded the truck while my wife loaded the freezer. Before he left, he told me to take the receipt and double-check that we weren't missing anything. The receipt ended up in one of the boxes used for delivery, so I didn't check it right away. We didn't look for it until Monday and by that time our farmer had already left for vacation. Once he got back, he sent me a picture of the receipt, and we went through our beef. To our dismay, we discovered that we were missing all 24 steaks and one roast. As soon as I realized this, I let my friend know, and he immediately notified Paradise. That's when the headache began. They told him to have us count again, make a list of everything we are missing, and contact them with the list. My wife called them, as they had asked, and their response was, "Well, we don't have it, so your farmer must have taken it." My wife was pretty shocked at this point because we had done everything they asked, yet their immediate response was to dismiss the situation and basically accuse our farmer of stealing the steaks. I contacted my friend and he called the manager to let them know we were less than impressed with the customer service at this point. They apologized and said they would help resolve the issue. Well, that turned out to be a lie, as they never returned a call to my friend until he threatened to get his lawyer involved. By this point, we had cooked our first batch of ground beef and it was a disappointment. In 11 years of buying beef, I've never received such low-quality hamburger before. Normally the hamburger I've received has been 90/10, maybe 85/15. This junk is 70/30 at best! We cooked 4 lbs of beef and drained over a pound of fat. It was so bad that we had to drain it twice because it wouldn't cook properly-it was literally being boiled in the fat. My other concern is that if they added an extra 15% of fat to the hamburger, shouldn't I have more packages of beef than usual? I can tell you I have no more than I've ever had when buying from other places. Well, they finally called my friend back, and he informed them that not only was I missing meat, but the quality was also sub-par. He told them they needed to figure out how to reimburse me for both the missing items and the poor quality ground beef. The manager said, "give me until Monday and I will call you back." Once again, that turned out to be a lie, as we haven't been able to reach them on the phone again. I was never asking for all my money back, or for them to substitute for the missing product; I just wanted a refund for the items I never received and a portion for the terrible hamburger. My recommendation to others at this point is to look somewhere else for a butcher, as Paradise's customer service is terrible. You might never hear back from them, the meat quality is poor, and you might not even receive your full order! My question is: Where did my missing steaks go, where is the extra hamburger, and for goodness sake, where's your phone?

OMG, this is the place to go for BBQ!!! We ordered the Sampler Platter, which is known as "a first…read moreclass ticket through their entire pit with a generous sampling of their smoked meats and sides." All I can say it it was some of the best BBQ that I have ever had. Seriously, you MUST go to Scott's Kitchen! I would give it a 10 out of 10.

Fourth time's the charm... right?…read more I was dragged back to Scott's Kitchen for my fourth visit, and I'll give credit where credit is due: there was finally some actual smoke smell! Progress! I'll also admit that the piece of pulled pork I had was pretty decent. Unfortunately, everything else was pretty much what I expected based on my previous visits. My biggest issue is the price. $18 for three tacos is pretty outrageous, especially when that $18 doesn't include a drink, a side, or anything else. At that price, I expect the BBQ to absolutely knock it out of the park. And that's really my problem with Scott's: I just don't understand the hype. In my opinion, it's not one of the top BBQ places in Kansas City, and at these prices, it needs to be. Here's my BBQ rule: if the BBQ can't stand on its own and be great, then you're a restaurant that serves BBQ--not a great BBQ restaurant. I've now been four times, and I keep hoping I'll finally understand what everyone else seems to see. Still waiting. At this point, I may need to order a fifth time just to make sure I'm not missing something... but my wallet is strongly recommending that I stop the investigation.
