Perfect little coffee shop right in the heart of Kearney. Our son and his wife just moved to town and we enjoyed a Saturday morning walk for coffee. Thumbs up all around for the lemonade, hot chocolate and mist importantly the coffee! Paisley has plenty of seating indoor and out. Great spot to meet with friends or get some work done.

Cute little coffee shop in Kearney. Grabbed a coffee after walking around the lake at Watkins Mill. I stopped by right before they were closing, so I didn't get a chance to stay long to enjoy the coffee house. The bar is down stairs but there is sitting upstairs, out back and out front. Stop by and try one of the baristas' recommendations. You can't go wrong. I had the honey and cinnamon iced latte; and it was delicious.

The cutest coffee shop in town just opened and it's right behind Paisley Candle Co. Paisley Perk shares the same owners and the candle shop next door and definitely lives up to the name! I stopped in for the first time the other morning and tried one of their signature drinks, the Spicy Aztec Mocha. A classic mocha with a hint of chai and cayenne pepper to give it that spicy flair. I was not disappointed! This was the perfect twist on my all time favorite drink. My friend with me tried their other signature, the Honey Bee and she loved hers as well. We weren't able to try any food that morning but the display case of pastries, quiches and other breakfast treats will have us coming back for more!

Stopped here for coffee while in town for a wedding and weren't disappointed! The Spicy Aztec Mocha was delicious. Excellent customer service and such a cute atmosphere!

I get the "honey bee" and it's very tasty. They also have great breakfast sandwiches.

This one was no exception, but I do believe it might remain the reigning champion. First of all it is a coffee shop in the basement of a church, and its name implies that it is religious. So the reviews that act surprised or give lower ratings for that reason are silly gooses. The ambiance is outstanding! It is a whole vibe. You are surrounded by books, some of the tables have pew seating, there is a kids area, they sell T shirts cheap ($7) and used books at an amazing deal. New books are priced as marked with regular retail pricing. I was shocked at the number if new hooks they had. The crowning jewel for me was they have natural house made (or local bought) syrups so you are not getting a run of the mill commercially based anything. I expected that to limit their menu but it didn't! I had the caramel crunch chai, hands down best chai I have ever tasted. I wanted to chug it. My friend loved her drink that had winter mint! I also splurged on a winter pomegranate spritz and cake pops to go. This is a coffee shop where you come in, slow down and enjoy the experience. I do not recommend this place if you want a quick coffee to go. The Barista was exceptional and she put time and effort into each drink. She did get backed up because she was all alone when a coworker called in and got slammed! She was clearly overwhelmed but never once rushed a conversation or made any of the customers feel like she didn't have time for them. Rare beauty in this rushed world we live in. She encouraged checking out the gorgeous sanctuary and stained glass windows upstairs in the sanctuary and shared stories about them. I never once felt like I was in a church basement- if that makes sense. It was warm, cozy and inviting. This is my new weekly spot! PS the kids area has a full tote of scrapbooking stuff, and the tables all have cards where you can write up a handwritten note and they send them of somewhere to spread joy and kindness. It does not get better than this.

The last I knew that the space had been an events / wedding hall, a B and B and vacant. Little did I know was that it had been reformed as an Anglican church and the coffee shop was being ran by the church in the basement. The vibe was just kinda weird...it's basically a cluttered Christian book store and gift shop serving coffee and sandwiches. The staff were polite but not very welcoming; I felt like I was intruding on a private function that didn't want me there. I took my Mocha Cream Breve' and went out on the patio for some views of the beautiful historic structure. When asked about their source for coffee beans, I was told "we get em from someplace in Arkansas". OK!?? I'm sure that some demographic here in the bible belt will find this basement quaint and charming, but it just gave me a desire to go spend my money at a more secular venue.

They were super busy with only 2 people working and the service was outstanding. A 3rd person started working not long after I got there and all 3 were super friendly and full of smiles. I was so impressed. They stand out from other coffee shops for so many reasons. I love the Christian ministries they support. They have prayer wall for prayer requests. They have a little used book donation library that you can donate to or buy from. They have tons of kids games and puzzles and even a few adult games and puzzles for groups. Another thing that stood out for me was their food offerings. CREPES! So many delicious choices of crepes it was hard to choose. I ended up going with the bacon egg and cheese. It was the most keto friendly although I'm certain they use flour. I totally forgot crepes weren't keto because I make them at home without flour. The crepes were delicious. I got a shatto chocolate milk and a peach pop tart for my daughter. I was hoping she'd want the banana Nutella crepes so I could try them lol. They have a keto coffee that is wonderful. I'm a little disappointed that their website says they offer a stevia chocolate syrup but they don't actually have that choice in the shop. They did have stevia packets though to add to my keto coffee.
