There are plenty of sumptuous choices available but I recommend you order the Original Dirty Burger; 2 luscious, thick beef patties, smothered in cheese and topped with the most incredible bbq pulled-pork ever! I substituted the skinny fries for chunky sweet potato fries, and washed it all down with a very generously-sized Cherry Coke Float. It was all brilliant. The whole time I was eating my burger, from the first bite, through to until I wiped the grease from my fingers, I had a big smile on my face. At one point I almost found myself groaning like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally! I'm serious, the burger was that good.

I am owed over £300 and have attempted conciliation with both Mudcrab and it's previous parent company Toucan leisure limited. Both companies have ignored mine the government's repeated attempts to resolve this issue peacefully and I am not the only one, some of my old colleague have also not been payed their wage on time or at all. When I went to the owner Richard in person to discuss this issue he told me it wasn't his problem but it is, he is legally obligated to pay me and isn't and I won't let him get away with not doing it. So when you eat at Mudcrab and you experience the excellent service of the wait staff there keep in mind that they are probably not being paid!!!

I ordered their Juicy Lucifer burger, as it was my birthday, I thought why not! And it was dry as a hockey puck. Two long, curly hairs was found nestled in the cheese which instantly put me off from at least finding some enjoyment and delight from the meal. I will probably go again, but at the moment I have no excitement or urge to visit Red's again.

When our mains arrived, I was given the "Combo Platter" instead of the ribs I had ordered. The staff acted as though this was my fault. The ribs, if they can even be called that, were charred and almost inedible at bits. 3 of the wings were burnt to a crisp, as thought the microwave had sapped all their moisture. The potato skins were flavorless, and the bit of salad did not help any of this. I would certainly give this little locale a miss if I ever return to Sheffield.

Some do them extremely well and some... well that is why I usually use Yelp to separate the good from the bad. Unfortunately I didn't Yelp this one. It offered a similar menu to GBK and it was reasonably busy, so I decided to give it a go. Similar process, look at the menu, saunter up to the register, place your order, get your drinks, and saunter back to your table... without spilling your drinks. I ordered the Avocado and Bacon Burger and a side of chips. It didn't take too long before I received my order. The food looked good... the burger was ok. It was messy, but with none of the satisfaction that a good messy burger brings. The avocado looked a bit old, some dark brown bits that were not hidden by all of the mashing and tasted a bit old too. The bacon was more fatty bits than meaty bits and when you bite into a burger, it comes straight out of the bun, pulling the mashed avocado and other toppings out onto the plate and you are left with the entire piece of bacon dangling out of your mouth. The chips were a bit on the soggy side. It isn't the worst meal I have ever had, but it didn't quite hit the spot, just refueled me to go do more shopping.

In fact, the first time we saw the Five Guys, they were still training staff, so it was closed. However, now when I say to Mr. Snarky, "Can we go to Meadowhall?" He is quite happy to make the trek as long as he gets Five Guys for lunch. While the set up is a bit nicer than some... with a logical flow of traffic from placing your order to getting drinks at the end, it is a bit smaller. By smaller I mean, not much room to wait for your order and not as much in the seating area. Although the one part that doesn't quite flow is where they chose to place the area that you pick up milkshakes. It is between the tills and where you pick up orders and it seemed to be confusing everyone... not to mention causing a bit of a traffic jam in the flow of people moving from placing their orders to waiting for them. Because this is a bit smaller with fewer seats, we managed to grab seats across from Five Guys on some bar stools, but finding seating on a weekend at lunchtime is like finding a needle in a haystack. I know that's not really Five Guys' fault though. You do have to listen closely for your order number as it can be quite difficult to hear with the loud music and the noise from the food court. Food was good as always, although the burgers were a bit on the sloppy side... but then again they had only been open for two weeks by the time we went.
