No cheese is whats in this photo

This place keeps getting worse. Again there was a long line waiting in both lanes. I had to wait over 20 minutes for a 6 piece nugget. Im charged 5.00 at the window which seemed odd. when I got my receipt, I see shes charged me for an extra sauce that I did not order plus, charged me for a donation to Ronald McDonald House!! Everytime I stop here on the way home theres some problem. This time I asked for a refund and they gave me back more than twice as much as over charged me. They suspiciously kept my receipt. this was at 3:10 pm on 10-10-25. .09 cents stolen from every customer who doesn't notice or complain about this adds up to a lot quickly! Either the manager, owner or employees are stealing this money from customers.

Probably going to get death threats from Texan residents for this review, but here it goes…read more.. Do you like Burger King whoppers? How about Mcdonald's french fries? Answer yes to both? Well you've come to the right place because Whataburger has the best of both worlds! I ordered their original Whataburger meal which comes with a burger, fries, and a drink. Their burgers have a striking resemblance to Burger King's trusty ol' whopper. Sesame bun, beef patty, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, and mustard. Their burgers are on the bigger side, but do not come with mayo or cheese (upon request only). Fries are thinly cut and perfectly crispy--sounds a lot like McD fries, and guess what, taste like them too! They offer both regular and spicy ketchup (not spicy at all). Call me crazy, call me uncultured, but this is a Jersey girl's honest opinion of Whataburger. Must try if you are visiting the Lone Star State!

I cant really say I am impressed with this location. Today I went there as I was having issues with…read morea coupon. I asked to see if the manager could override it or fix the problem. The cashier went back to get the manager to only for them to tell me, "They said they're busy." I decided if the manager was too busy to do their job then I was too busy to be their customer. I took my business elsewhere. Also be weary of parking. After speaking with a few people due to a bad experience, hit and runs are common in this parking lot. I found out in order for footage to be released they have to get permission from HQ and the store owner/operator is then responsible for releasing the footage to the police. She doesn't always do that. Buyer beware, and park towards the back or go when there is the least foot and drive through traffic.

I certainly would not call myself a fast food connoisseur albeit I was in my college days…read more Typically, fast food is reserved for road trips or emergency situations. After 25+ hrs in flight and airports, we were in dire need for some grub as we headed back to San Antonio. I've never been a Jack in the Box fan, but my husband selected this store for the proximity to I10 plus proper side of highway for ease onto ramp. Y'all, this meal gave me life, and I am not even ashamed to say it. The service was not phenomenal as there were 2-3 individuals inside and about 7 cars outside, so we waited roughly 10-15 minutes between order and food delivery. However, it was worth the wait. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with curly fries and Powerade. Everything was absolutely fresh and delectable. The chicken sandwich was crispy on crust yet juicy on inside which was complemented perfectly with cheese, mayo, lettuce, and tomato. I was astounded by how good it was. I crown it best fast food chicken sandwich especially because the spice was on point. I enjoyed every bite and was wanting more. Curly fries won the day as always as they were piping hot and consistency perfection. No ketchup necessary. Overall, it was a win win and I would return.

Ok, I "did not" drive an hour and change from home to Sealy so I can eat at "this" Carl's Jr. I…read morestopped here so I can eat at "a" Carl's Jr. There is a difference. There is something about the burgers at Carl's Jr. that just satisfies a fast food burger craving that I have. Ever since my college days over 20 or so years ago, I've always liked Carl's charbroiled burgers paired with the sauces they used, the burgers do not have to gianormous and the meat patties don't always have to be thicker than thick, but at least the size of the burgers have not shrunk to the size of sliders like some of the other fast food chains out there. I haven't had to drive long road trips much, but I'd imagine I will start to get to as my kids start growing older and don't always want to utilize the airport to get to places, but they say that sometimes those brightly lit signs of certain fast food places like those golden arches serve as an inviting beacon for weary drivers to stop in and grab a bite to eat and some rest before continuing on. Nothing quite does it for me like a Carl's Jr. This location is located on the westbound side of I-10 and 90/Bernardo St. in Sealy. In the recent years, gas stations have partnered up with fast food chains to cross promote businesses, so it would make sense to stop here for a gas stop too. There is a big parking lot for 18 wheeler truckers to park and rest. Bernardo St. is not very wide, and not very well lit, so if you are coming in from the other side of the interstate or continuing your journey towards the west, be very careful of the road because the only thing you have are the road/lane reflectors as you drive on the over pass, especially during Winter times where it gets dark early. The interior of the restaurant is shared between itself, the Dunkin Donuts next door, and the gas station to the right. Carl's Jr.'s menu have gone through some name changes, but the old reliable favorites are still there. I've said it in my reviews of other Carls, their menu item still remain the only one where I'd be satisfied eating the first item on the menu (Famous Star). We were on our way out of town and was going to stop in for lunch but passed by and didn't want to lose time. But on our way back we stopped for supper and what we ordered still tasted good and brought back memories. We all know Carl's Jr. is not some gourmet food by any stretch. But still one of our favorites (there was not too much they could do to mess up our opinions of them, but one of those locations proved me wrong). With locations around Houston closing left and right (those of you reading this would might say for good reasons), lest they go through another great purge of all their locations many years ago, I try to get some whenever I see them.

I arrived at this location's cashier stand at 8:56 pm. The cashier was counting out her coins at…read morethe register. She then told me, "sorry, we're closed". I thought they were open until 10 pm, so then I told her "but it's only 8:57", and she said "yea, but I've closed out my register and I'm counting out my money". So I said "Oh. Ok" and drove back home, nearly 40 miles away. Turns out that their hours are from 6am-11pm. Wth?!? I grew up in CA and would go to Carls Jr. once in awhile because of their yummy charbroiled burgers, but now this Sealy location totally killed all the love I had for Carl's Jr. What a shame.
