I visit this location too much-at least my waistline says so. The staff is super friendly. The staff is very efficient, at least morning & day crew...night crew- is completely different-slow and don't use the 2nd drive thru window as it should be used. A couple weeks ago I stopped for a Hot fudge sundae. I waited for 8 minutes with only 1 car in front of me. They got a Single bag. Then I pull up and my sundae is milk. So I ask for a new one- she was not happy!! And when I got it- there was very little hot fudge. But today, I ordered on the app...and only one car in front of me- and I get the wrong sandwich (one without meat) and I call- Alice is very nice...but I don't want a biscuit sandwich with egg & cheese only. So she quickly offers to replace it for free....and move on. That's unacceptable for me. What do i expect- not sure, maybe a heartfelt, sincere apology. Maybe - more than just replacing my sandwich DOWN THE ROAD. I try not to give bad reviews...bc, I don't like giving bad news to anyone I guess. Ordered drive thru, employees pushed us through the line with extended wait time for food with no explanation of why or that we would have to wait. Burger was salty, way too many onions and soda had so much syrup it was to sweet to drink. If I could give a -star I would. read more

This McDonald's has some serious problems. It's an older location that has been modernized at least several times in its past but has reached the end of its useful life. Interior seating area is crowded and too small. Employees when ordering and delivering food were very nice though. The amount of time to get food after ordering was FAR too long. After ordering, I noticed at least two other tables waiting for their food, and it was several minutes for them to get what they ordered. This location does have enough parking, one of its few redeeming features, and the food was good when it finally arrived. I would go to Long John Silvers or keep driving down to Hamburg until this location is demolished and totally reconstructed. read more

If i could give a trophy for having the worst management and somehow being able to consecutively get simple orders wrong EVERY TIME myself or my family comes through the drive through is insane, hands this would be the establishment that wins. Order is wrong at least 1 out of 3 visits. If you're driving through, plan to make two trips through the drive through lane before you have your entire order. Night time staff is very rude. Even if you're local, it's worth the drive to Pottsville or Hamburg if it's later than 9-10pm. The wait is very long and the workers are not nice. read more

This is the dirtiest and most miserable Mickey D's I've ever been to. When dining inside you are treated to the filth on the floor, highchairs, and even in the lights. It's pretty sad when your 6 year old son asks why the guy at the drive thru window is so miserable. There was a fly under the lid of our orange juice cup. Terrible McDonalds. Don't get much food here but the kids like the fries. The last 2 times we drive thru around 530 pm on a weekday. We order two fries. Both times we are asked to pull around and wait because they are out of fries. WTF!! 5 minutes or it's we wait. So this past Sunday the wife and I head out. Wife forgot to take her pill so we drive thru. It's 9:20 am. We order 1 breakfast Sammie and guess what?? We are asked to pull into a spot and wait. 7 minutes later, the girl comes out with our 1 item. That's 3 times in a row. They are out and I'll never go there again. I normally don't give one stars, but this McDonalds deserves it! I go to this one almost every night around 1AM. I only order one thing, a large McChicken meal with a diet coke. On my sandwich I order extra mayo and extra pickles. That's my weakness. The old guy who works third shift there can never remember my order even though I go there 5 nights out of the week. He always forgets something from my order. Sometimes it's the sandwich itself, my drink, or my McFlurry. I go to this one because it's close to my house. Sometimes he's very rude too. Plus, who ever heard of being charged ten cents for extra mayo and ten cents extra for every pickle which normally turns out to be $.40 for pickles???? My fries even though I ask for them to be hot they are always cold and soggy so I don't end up eating them and the McFlurry is always only half full. It's absolutely ridiculous. I will say though, it's the cleanest McD's I've ever been to. read more

I had a late night "Mac Attack" and decided to head to my local McDonald's in Schuylkill Haven. When I got there there was one person waiting to give his order. It took the staff over 5 minutes to finally get around to taking his order. Two people behind me drove off, not wanting to wait any longer. I assumed my patience would be rewarded. I sat at the speaker for a minute or so, then finally someone said they "Would be with me in about 5 minutes. Your order will take up to 10 minutes, and we are only accepting cash." I did not have the cash to complete my order and satisfy my craving for a Big Mac. So I elected to go to Sheetz across the street. While I wish I could say this was a lone incident. I have been informed when ordering a milk shake that "Icecream machine was broken" when the car in front of me got 6 milkshakes and sat at the delivery window chanting with their friends who were currently "working". I have been shorted McNuggets on more then one occasion. Gotten someone else order. I have simply had it with the total incompetence of the employees and management of this particular location. I worked at McDonald's when I was in my teens. I know it does not take a lot to run it. When I was working there it took 108 seconds to cook a Quarter Pounder Patty, and you could cook 6 at a time. So I have no idea why it would take 10 minutes to complete my order. If I ever have another late night Mac Attack I will drive to Pottsville or Hamburg before I ever go to this location again. Also they hardly ever have kids toys here or give out toys that are 2 or 3 years old. read more

Profile may show me as Middleburg for some reason but I am actually local to Schuylkill Haven area. Just made a special run to this location. Ordered a quarter pounder w/ cheese meal and separate quarter pounder with cheese. My order did not show on the screen but when I got to the window the worker repeated the above order. Got home and on each box is a slip about ONLY American Cheese. No cheese on either burger. Also, the one patty was in pieces- looked terrible and not appetizing. Didn't eat that one. Called the place, manager apologized and said next time in it would be replaced. I was to write his name on my receipt. My name was not asked for. Doubt if it would happen. I think the same person owns the Pottsville and Frackville locations which I have visited in the past and had order problems. Done with these locations. I would give zero stars if possible. I don't know if I should start with the long wait for just a regular burger and small fries or about the few months pregnant girl that was working the window. I was really disgusted by the fact after she played around and adjusted her underwear around her slightly bulging belly, she then proceeded to grab peoples food and drinks, not bothering to wash her hands. I guess after that, the cold food didn't really matter, nor the fact that they couldn't even land the meat on the bun properly. this mcdonalds is a poor example of others in the area. no matter the time of day, the wait is abysmal. the mobile orders are never ready at any decent time. the orders are constantly messed up, about 60% of the time i go the order is messed up.
