Worst McDonald's ever! Slow service, bad food, burnt food, rude employees, dirty, dirty, dirty, and no one seems to care.

It seems late in the nights they close one of the twin drive through order menu's. It sucks when you are behind some one indecisive asking what's inside of a double cheese burger. Some things I also noticed they changed. Apple pies are not 2 for $1 here. Some of the sandwich prices are little higher. They also took a while to get my order ready and still forgot my fries. I already pulled up to the street, and the line that built behind me was ridiculous long. Eh, forget the french fries this time. I'll just sneak bites into the apple pie to get the same amount of fat/calories. read more

This might've been one of my craziest experience at a McDonald's. I went to the drive-thru during lunch time last Thursday. As I approach the 1st window (where money is taken), there are two women at the window discussing something. A tall man in a black jacket stands a few feet from my passenger side window and yells "OPEN THE WINDOW! OPEN THE WINDOW NOW!" My first thought is... there is no way I'm about to get robbed in Sandy Springs in broad daylight...lol. The man is actually the manager and he is screaming furiously at the two workers in the window and berating them. The line is backed up so I'm stuck at the window listening to the manager screaming at the top of his lungs to the grill area (mostly women) "I MAKE THE RULES! I'M THE BOSS HERE". But hey... they got my order right for once so I guess it was done for the greater good. Just watch out for slow wait times and the shift manager who demands that you respect his authority! read more

THIS IS THE SLOWEST MCDONALD'S EVER. I even told them the 2nd drive-through didn't work, and people were having to back up to go to the other. No one even came out to check on it, or they would have seen multiple customers leaving. I tried to call and no one answered the phone. Ridiculous. If I could give a ZERO rating I would. read more

The service here is terrible! They have incompetent people working at the drive try and the register. They gave me about 10 fries in the bag and when I asked the person helping me to take it back he told me he was on break...... Ridiculous! read more

Whoever owns this location should have their franchise revoked and allow someone who wants to run a McDonald's franchise take over. 6 cars total in line and it took 40 minutes and you can't get out of line if someone is behind you because of their stupid secondary lane. 6 months ago it took 20+ minutes for 4 cars. I never imagined that COULD get worse. I will not ever go back to this location again. read more

I don't really eat fast food, but I was really craving ice cream. I asked for an specific ice cream and informed them I would like an ice cream cone. They gave me a cup of ice cream and threw my cone on top in a very sloppy way :(. read more

Terrible management. Terrible food. They need new EVERYTHING. Wether it's doordash or drive thru they disappoint just about every time. No drinks no sauces and if they give you sauces they give you attitude even after you say you'll pay extra for them. My nuggets are always undercooked or just cold like they've been sitting out. Never actually are here. Went in...2 employees sitting watching the cashier. My son had a mask on I did not...no other customers in store, no access to self service drinks (which is fine), a big shield between us and cashier and my son started ordering and he said in a monotone voice no mask no service. We said what...couldn't understand him (partially because of his low voice and mask on) ...he repeated no mask no service...so we chose no service and we left. Blessing in disguise...when we pulled out of back entrance we saw napolis pizza. Had the best lunch. read more

Don't visit this McDonalds if you expect fast friendly service....it's non existant! Corporate should take a long hard look at this location as the staff is standing around not working while a line of customers waits and waits, many just giving up and walking out the door, like myself. Drive through was a horrible experience. Went there at 9:55am for breakfast. Ask the lady if they had any mini biscuit. She said no that is chick fil a and a sarcastic tone. Then ask if they have fries. She said no this is breakfast in an annoyed voice. Poor customer service. read more

Healthcare worker who left her ID at home and showed proof of employment the management did not honor thank you meal the management told the employee that he don't have time to report to the window he said " I don't have time " ! This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to, and I've been back multiple times thinking it's just a one-time bad experience. But there is something seriously wrong with this location. Messed up orders, waiting at the drive through at non-rush hours for 15 minutes, being told repeatedly that they don't have this or that. It's a really, really awful place. I don't know why nothing has been done to address this over the course of the years that I pop by, because it's a convenient location for me. Terrible service!! 2 drive thru lanes open but no one taking orders in lane 2. Had to back up and go thru lane 1. Had to repeat my order multiple times at speaker and repeat it all again at window despite being a simple sausage and cheese biscuit and sausage and cheese mcmuffin. Ordered a $3.50 hot caramel mocha and was handed a plain cup of coffee. Got an attitude when I nicely asked about the whipped cream and chocolate and caramel. She closed the window and walked away. I should've looked at the reviews before ordering. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. They are lazy. Especially late at night. I decided to order UBER tonight. I ordered Big Mac combo, vanilla milk shake, cherry limeade slush, and McFlurry. When my UBER driver arrived to my destination, he only had my soda and Big Mac. He advised that they (McDonald's) said that they called me to tell me the machine was down (they never called). The Uber driver advised that in the meantime, he saw an employee fix her a ice cream cone. I tried to call them and of course no one answered. I was pissed. The soda was watered down and my food cold. And even if the machine was down, where was my slushie??? Laziness is sad and from the reviews they are very lazy at this location. Worst McDonald's ever will literally have you in a drive through line for over 30mins AFTER YOU ALREADY PAID

This is truly the worst McDonald's I have ever visited. I had to wait 2-3 minutes for the cashier to show up. She couldn't focus on taking my order and at one point just wandered off mumbling. When my food finally showed up 10 minutes later, I was already ready to leave because of the variety of piercing, incessant beeping issuing from the kitchen area. I'm not sure if those beeps are supposed to communicate something, and nobody working there seemed to know either. I had to ask 4 different people before they could be bothered to supply ketchup. Only one of the drink machines had any ice at all. The Wifi didn't work, my son got a rash on his arm from touching something in the play are...and just to top it all off, there was a whiff of sewage wafting from the back. I originally came for a mcgriddle, said they only cook breakfast to order so I settled with two mcdoubles and have been here 30min in all.. waiting to order 15, waiting on order 15.. so much for fast food.. not even enough quality to wait like this.. now everyone is honking at me because they asked me to pull up into a spot that jams everyone. Had to go inside and ask for somebody to please give me some help out here and immediately my burgers are thrown into my hand with no compensation I will never ever come back to this McDonald's they have ruined my day read more

I've tried to eat here multiple times but the employes either act like the drive thru isn't working or tell me they aren't accepting orders.

We tried. First went inside and for 10 minutes nobody came to take orders. We went to the drive through thinking it would be faster and we were horribly horribly excruciatingly wrong. We waited in line forever and finally got to the speaker and sat for 5 minutes with nobody saying anything. So we tried to order at the window where you pay and nobody was there, WHERE THEY TAKE DRIVE THROUGH ORDERS. NOBODY WORKING. So needless to say we left and this place needs to be shut down, I don't know how it hasn't after all these horrendous reviews. read more

This is the WORST McDonald's location in Atlanta. In fact, it's the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I went here for breakfast this morning and there were only 4 cars in front of me, yet it somehow took 25 minutes to get my order and that is not an exaggeration. At the windows, I was asked my order a total of 5 times. They were completely clueless. When I finally received my order after waiting 25 minutes, the employee at the window was extremely rude, gave me attitude, and proceeded to bicker with me when I told her how frustrated I was. She was actually yelling at me as I drove away. So not only is their service extremely slow, their employees are horrible. This store is a joke and I seriously don't know how they're still in business. They've been terrible every time I've been here and the reviews speak for themselves. My husband and I stopped at this location on our way to a fishing trip. When my husband had a special request of "drizzling caramel on the sides of his cup", you would've thought he was out to ruin someone's day at 7:30 AM in the morning. This little worker with her 2 pig tails wrapped too tight turned around like the exorcist and yelled "what?". First of all, it was disappointing to see this behavior from a worker from McDonalds of all places then to see she wanted to continue loud talking us and aim her threats at us while the workers hold her back.. as if...it's easy to talk when someone is between you and the other person... After we pinched ourselves to make sure we weren't back in high school, got ready to leave and the worker is STILL loud talking from the back. I sent a message to corporate and I'm posting on ALL of their social media sites. Maybe the madness will stop after someone records them and send it to the local news?? I would like to caution people like this, everyone has a story and you never know what could be the moment for someone to snap... If this worker felt like this she should've taken a knee and called out sick! We will not be treated like your ordinary customer who will remain silent and smile. Worst service I have ever seen. I have been there many times at peak lunch hour, and never saw more than one cash register open at a time. Takes forever to order, and much longer to wait for the food. Their main focus is on the drive-thru. So as a result, if you actually go inside the restaurant, you pay the price with awful service. No more for me! PS: My office building is next door and actually overlooking this McDonalds. I can often hear the manager yelling at employees in their parking lot, and one time even heard him yelling at a customer who was upset at the very long drive-thru lines (told him to get out of the line - he no longer wants his business!). Employees are slow taking your food order and then Really slow to deliver your food. About 7 people in line and 8 people waiting for food to be delivered, People standing all in the lobby of this restaurant WAITING... I guess this is what happens when some folks want $15.00 hr. for minimum wage work... Very poor service. Went through drive though late.. after lunch rush, around 2:30 pm. Very long wait for which they did apologize. But before hat, when I looked into window from my car I couldn't even see anyone inside working. I specifically ordered a certain salad and that was the one on my ticket. When I got home, I saw they had given me something completely different, something I can't eat on my eating plan. I had to throw it away because it was way too much trouble to take it back. If I could give zero stars I would, 3 cars in front of me in the drive thru and it took 30 min. Then as I get my food they hand me drinks and say " we ain't got no ice" I say I want a refund then ice magically appears. No apologies just ghetto rudeness. This is truly the absolute worst experience I have ever had both inside dining and the drive thru. 30 minutes in the drive thru for a kids 4 piece chicken and a Dr.Pepper. The drive thru people had the personalities of zombies. No apology for the wait. And apparently they fixed the "Dr.Pepper" when it was ordered. Problem was I don't know what the drink was because it was nothing but syrup. No carbonation whatsoever. I have lived her for almost 9 years and it's never been so bad. Isn't it the McDonald's employees that wanted 15.00 an hour??? The health department needs to investigate this place. And it needs to become automated. Ordered and rang me up for a Large #3 meal (checked the receipt). Gave me a medium fry and drink and a McDouble cheeseburger. For those not knowledgeable on McDonald's that's half the size of a Double Quarter Pounder. So they essentially gave me half of the food they charged me for... The worst McDonalds , I come here in the morning just for coffee and there is always some issue or the employees just aren't trying to be efficient to get everyone through quickly . This is one of the worst McDonalds in all Of the United States. We have been there 3 days in a row trying to get our son a McDonalds treat. On the first toe occasions they did not have a handle of the double drive through. We waited 30 minutes on two separate and lost our mind on the staff on the third occasion. The manager at least was gracious and apologetic. Lots of staff standing around inside and 15 cars in the drive through! Horrible. Seems like most of Sandy Springs and Atlanta area has very poorly run McDonalds. Share on them for keeping the kids waiting and some cases disappointing them. read more

Most frustrating experience! I ordered a coffee with sugar & 2 creams. First time they said they put it in themselves ( I prefer to do it myself) But on the 2nd visit in ordered same kind of coffee but added breakfast burrito.
