Ordered online, went to pick up, they wouldn't give it to us because the phone that ordered wasnt there, even though we shared the code and told them what the order was...Called and asked the manager to deliver it to us, of course that was a no (which was expected), but asked them to refund it and they said they wouldn't do that either.POOR MANAGEMENT!!!! read more

My first meal of 2024 was from this McDonald's and frankly it wasn't too bad. I haven't had McDonald's in years because I am not a huge fan of fast food, so I don't really have a point of reference between good or bad McDonald's. However, it was new year's day and everything was closed except Whataburger and McDonald's. The line at the other fast food place was absolutely insane and it was not moving, so we decided to give this one a chance. We were the first ones in line and were able to get our food in just 5 minutes. They even gave us a little cup with whipped cream for my dog which I thought it was pretty nice of them. Overall the food was decent...not award winning, but it hit the spot. I would definitely come back to this McDonald's for a quick bite after visiting Rockport beach. read more

We had to take back three shakes because they tasted like expired milk, and when we told the manager what was wrong she said she couldn't give us a refund witch was fine we just wanted a different shake, and then continued to have rude and aggressive attitude towards us and practically K.O the shakes into the trash bin, and then tossed our new shakes at us like a cheating husband throwing money at a stripper. this has to be the worst establishment i've ever been to in my life. workers were the rudest i've ever encountered, my friend and i placed two separate orders both of which were missing items. we noticed right away that one of the items given to us was messed up so we asked about it after we were given the rest of our food since we were asked to wait at the curb (while there was no line) for our order, the woman running food out had a terrible attitude, laughed at us asking about our incorrect order and proceeded to walk away without offering to fix it or even offering a solution. i don't know how this place is even still open with the reviews i'm seeing. read more

Wife ordered curbside and waited 45 minutes until she went inside. Apparently, they gave away the order and said it never came through. Wife showed proof of order from app and it took 15 minutes to remake it. Not one single person apologized for the wait or mix up and this was the manager. read more

I see the other reviews about the service and I wanted to share my experience. I ordered on the kiosk an iced coffee with vanilla flavoring. As I was waiting, a young lady came and asked if the amount she had put in the cup of vanilla syrup was ok & I said "-yes". That's has never ever happened at any McDonald's so I needed to give a ! I was hungry and went to go get some McDonald's when i got in there there were a big gang in there there was no room for me to sit. I ordered my food and the waitress said they don't have any more chicken nuggets so i said ok and asked for fries they said they don't have any more fries. I went to the bathroom waiting for my food and sall 4 men partying in the bathroom so i went out they said my food was done and when i looked what was inside there was a hole bag of chicken nuggets so i went out and ate my chicken nuggets whit no sauce. read more

Every time order chicken nuggets they are raw. The ice cream machine is never working. The service is absolutely awful. The staff doesn't even know what's in the menu or the pricing of the menu. I should've known that something was awry with this McDonald's when I pulled up. I saw a couple choosing to fish in the creek by the parking lot and cast a net for fresh crawfish instead of eating here. Why would someone get a Fillet-o-Fish here when there's a salty marsh right at the end of the drive thru where you can get something for free? I came here, and the ice cream machine was busted. Nope. So I asked for a shake. That's out too. Dr Pepper? Sure, pull forward. I'm pretty sure that I got Diet Coke instead, and it was rather light on the ice for such a hot day. The parking lot was leaking something from the interior of the store into the marsh at the end of the parking lot, which looks hazardous. read more

Fifteen minutes for a Big Mac Meal. My order was processed at 2:16 pm and called at 2:31 PM. Food quality was acceptable although my sandwich was a little cold. While waiting for my meal, I witnessed another customer get her meal and ask for the shake she ordered. "Oh, our shake machine is broken," was the reply. Why hadn't the customer been told this when they had placed their order???? The customer got a refund, but would have been better if they had been informed initially. Customer behind me also waited 15 to 20 minutes for their meal -- and the french fries were not provided. When that customer asked for them they were told would be ANOTHER five minutes! PLUS, when this customer looked at their ticket they realized that they were overcharged. When the customer goes up to get a refund for the overcharge the individual and manager decided to argue with the customer and did not actually listen to the customer. I overheard the conversation I NEVER heard, "I'm sorry" or "I apologize". Instead, it was argument and excuses. Lashonda is apparently the manager here and I never saw her step up to address the situation. POOR, POOR, POOR! read more

My family and numerous friends have come to the realization that this town does not have a McDonald's. The only thing world class about their French fries is they are the worst in the world. The fillet of fish .... Take it out of the bag and just throw it into the trash. It is always cold and rancid. SHAME on McDonald's for not taking the franchise away from the owner. They sell Happy meals without toys. Very bad service. Waited 15 minutes in the drive thru for two happy meals. My kids were very disappointed when we got back to our rented house and the happy meals were missing the toys. This must have been the worst customer service I've experienced at a MCDONALDS. I've had a fair share but while we were in the drive thru, we asked for a few min to decide what we wanted. I noticed some attitude from a young lady when she just hung up the intercom. TWO MINUTES passed and I was getting my app ready and this gentleman told us we had to move when we we're about to get ready to order. He acted like we had been there for 10 minutes trying to figure out what to order when that was not the case. He asked us to move but we were like no we just got here. He said If we didn't move he was going ti call the cops... LITERALLY NO BUSINESS telling a fucking customer to move if not cops are involved? that's horrible business and whoever the manager is not teaching there workers right. Sitting at McDonald's in rockport. Went to pick up a snack before my hair appointment today, the employees now refuse to come to the counter to help you, they want you to use the order machines they've installed. I had a question so I went to the counter and they all turned and looked at me and kept working. Another couple walked in after I finally figured out how to add something and pay and they were a much older couple and clearly didn't know how to use the order machine and they went to the counter and asked someone to take their order instead. The manager in the light blue shirt told them they had to finish what they were doing before someone could help them and they said they were just going somewhere else where they would be helped. Put in my order in the machine at 10:32 and I'm still here waiting for two breakfast sandwiches and a side.... and no employees will make eye contact with me. great customer service read more

We stopped by this location multiple times about a month ago when we were in town. We actually only went through the drive thru on both occasions so I don't have a lot to say about bathrooms, cleanliness, space, seating, etc. What I noticed mainly was the drive thru not being very timely. Normally this would be because of a long line of cars but that was not the case. Nice people and the foot was typical McDonald's. The drive thru was full of miscellaneous trash also but again not sure that is so unusual. read more

Absolutely the worst McDonald's location I've ever visited. The drive thru wait on for a Thursday evening was incredibly slow. 4-5 cars from the window and it took roughly 25 minutes. The lady that took my order was utterly unprofessional, don't get me wrong I'm not asking for 5 star gourmet restaurant customer service, but decent customer service would be greatly appreciated. As we get to the window, none of the workers viewed from the drive thru window were wearing a mask. There is still a global pandemic going on and this McDonald's location isn't following their own COVID19 Safety Precautions. I wonder what other health and safety standards they skip over. There was an older African American woman gossiping in the back(no mask on), she was so intrigued by small talk, she could've been using her time wisely and assisting with orders. The lady that took my payment and handed me my food had no mask on and was snappy for no absolute reason. Unnecessary rude customer service while taking my order now another employee rude at the window? As I was driving off one of our drinks felt emptier than the other, I proceed to open the lid and they only filled up my drink 3/4 full. I thought the McDonald's drive thru soda machines have preset cup size button? This broad couldn't press the right size? The drive thru trash can was overflowing, this just shows the lack of management this McDonald's has. On a final note, my food tasted weird and uncooked. Disgusting! How hard is it to do your job?!?! I went in with a coupon for a iced coffee for $1 and when I tried to use it I was told it was wrong. AND when I pointed out it was correct, I was then told the rest of my order was affecting the coupon. So instead of trying to fix the issue they tried to shift the blame back to me. Just another example of the TERRIBLE workers at this location. I have never had any issues at any other Mcdonalds in the area.
