I usually don't do too many review updates... but this calls for it-- this McDonald's has to be the worst operationally run in the entire company-- and that's saying a lot. The food is never at right temp, the customer service is horrible, and the management clearly shows they don't care. I ordered curbside... went to pick it up, showed up, checked in, waited for about 30 mins (which was too long to wait) I come in and the inside is empty except for one Dasher picking up an order. They tell me they have been having problems with the online orders... she cycles through and finds my order- it looks as though it has been tagged as picked up already. She's asks manager what to do, this lady just shrugs and walks off..... she goes ahead and remakes the order, which in the chaos takes another 20-30 minutes. I was happy to get what I paid for.... but it was all the wrong type of sandwiches- sausage vs egg McMuffins. The service here is stunningly bad, if you want McDonald's badly just go to the one off 423 in little elm, you might get what you ordered-- or just go next door to chic fil à and save yourself the aggravation read more

This has to be the most poorly run McDonalds of all-time. I don't get it. It's a nice new facility in a nice new area, but the service is absolutely ALWAYS terrible. The employees are young, inexperienced, and just plain rude. It's not just one or two bad experiences - it's every single time I go. We have young kids who like happy meals, so we go at least once a week. The employees are extremely rude in the drive through line, never get the order right, always give you attitude when you ask them to fix the order, and have just a general attitude of they'd rather be somewhere else doing something else. For it to be this many bad experiences, there really has to be something wrong with management and how they hire, train, and manage the employees. I don't know why I keep going back - I think I'll start going to the crossroads location. read more

Ever since the pandemic, the store has not figured out how to get orders correct, serve hot food, and do it with a smile. Tonight, we went through the drive-through for a big Mac meal and the two small hamburger meal, They didn't get the custom order right, gave us the wrong drinks and the fries were cold. It probably would've helped if the kid handing out food wasn't spending time on his phone. Did I mention that the hamburgers were cold? They were cold even before I went back in to the store to get the drinks correct and get hot fries. This store should open up the dining room to save time and frustration from the crappy drive-through service. read more

Avoid this location at all costs. I've visited this location 5 times since their opening. Each time hoping for an improvement. The franchise owners don't seem to care about the complaints. The average wait time is 30 minutes for cold stale food. It doesn't matter if you go through the drive through or walk in. It's quicker to drive 10 minutes south on 423 or 15 minutes west on 380 and visit McDonalds there. Better yet, there are 3 other fast food options in the same parking lot. read more

Ever since I've moved here they messed up every order. They gave less nuggets many times, my mom ordered a pancake meal and my mom got just the biscuit: no pancake and nothing else. We got no sauce today and we ordered three meals. A teenager handed me the food. Today, my cousin was also missing nuggets (the usual), and one drink today was filled and the other was over an inch lower with almost no ice--they are both large drinks. My worst interaction was also when one of the employees sexually harassed me last year. He pretended to get my contact info because he said he need a prayer for his car issues or something financially related. I briefly mentioned a local church and he ended up wanting to get coffee to discuss more about the church, but instead he made homosexual dirty remarks to me throughout text saying "You just want me to flirt with you " winky faces and laughy emojis included. I blocked this number and only came back to this location later expecting him not to remember me when I needed to grab food for my parents and siblings. read more

I've never had a problem before but best believe I'm never going back. The lady at the window had the worst attitude ever and was very impatient and very aggressive when she handed me my food. Not only did she shove many bags of food in my hand, but she proceeded to yell at me to take my drink and yelled "thank you" and slammed the drive-thru window. Every time we order something is wrong. What's the difference of ordering in the window and using a touch screen? Nothing it just take paying attention and reading to fulfill an order. So, I'm assuming that for labor or food costs they intentionally will not take order between certain times when the claim to be open. I'm hoping this is the case because otherwise they just have a very lazy night manager. THREE times in a row now I come here between about 2a-4a and they "can't" take orders. Once they said that it was too late for regular menu and too early for breakfast. Second time the somehow had no food ready, and now tonight they say they don't have a working POS system. Miserable location. And the one in little elm is even worse with 30-40 minute wait times in the drive thru. We have gone a couple of times as a family. The first time we had gone my wife and sons chicken nuggets were undercooked. The fries seemed to be undercooked as well. We revisited again yesterday and the food seemed a little better however, the lady at the last window seemed like life was bothering her. She started off by giving us the wrong order. When we told her that's not what we ordered she handed my son's kids meal to us as an open box no toy no drink. Seriously looks like they dropped the fries in and she gave it to us. Literally the worst service ever. They have no Procedures, poorly trained and just rude. No area to pick mobile order, so I went through drive thru where i was greeted on speaker then ignored while two cars were greeted and helped in the other lane. When i just drove up to the window the young lady saw me then leaned on the counter and turned her back to me. Then when I was finally spoken to (7 minutes later) I was told they did not find my mobile order and To pull forward to a spot that was occupied. Once the manager came she was also very inconsiderate and rude. Offered no concession for the awful experience, after making me restart my app and re-check in because their mobile order system was not picking up my order. When she confirmed my order she left off an item so i said and this item too, she responded by saying yeah i was just trying to verify that was your order (in the rudest most condescending tone you can imagine). When she brought my food she basically tossed it at me (did not cook my fries with extra salt as requested, but told me she put salt packets in the bag) and then said have a good one and shut the window before I could say anything else. This location may be convenient but I will gladly go elsewhere before I EVER return here. I would give zero stars or negative stars if it would let me! read more

Went in for a quick breakfast to go and the manager or assistant manager on duty was awesome. After checking to make sure we were fine at the order terminal, she noticed I was in a sling. She asked me if I was doing OK and sincerely was kind and concerned. I appreciate it. The food was good, hot and exactly what we ordered. I don't know why they have such bad reviews. DO NOT COME HERE! When they first opened I was so happy because I hated driving 5 miles down to cross roads just to get McDonald's. Now the 5 mile drive is worth it. One morning me and my friend stopped to get breakfast. It was around 7:30 AM and the lady was not very nice. When we pulled in she said to us "Welcome to McDonald's what do you want" she said it in kind of a rude tone but I didn't think anything of it. Then I said one moment please because my friend didn't know what she wanted. About 10 seconds later the worker said "are you gonna order or not" and I said oh I'm sorry. We ordered two meals that came with drinks. Then when we got to the window it was like 5 dollars over the price it should have been. We asked her why and she screamed "you got drinks!" And we said, don't they come with the meal? Because that's what the menu said. She said "NO!" And Then tried to give us a drink without a lid. We just drove off. About 3 hours later I called to tell them and they said they would talk to her about it. They did NOTHING because I came through a few days later and she was there and she did the exact same thing.
