we went to Pembroke because the post office there delivers our mail. we hadn't gotten mail since Sat. (now it is Thur). Mail carrier was sick with no replacement. afterwards we decided to stop and get a Mcgriddle and 2 frappes. We went to the drive thru, ordered, was told to wait in a slot. all the while I am watching other being handed what looks like shakes or frappes at the window. I finely called and spoke with someone. it was still a few minutes for them to deliver. the person who was in a wait slot before us had her drinks delivered at the same time as ours. don't know how long she waited. don't think we will be back read more

This establishment has been on the decline for awhile now ... To start we entered and walked up to the self order kiosk as there was no employee at the main counter. No big deal for the most part until it came time to pay for our order. The card reader at this kiosk was not working properly and declining any card we attempted to use so we proceeded to the main counter. As we are standing there, no less than four employees looked right at us, said nothing, did nothing and went back to whatever task they were doing. One young lady even walked by us and when we inquired as to getting assistance she kept walking and without missing a beat only said "I'm on break" and kept walking away. After a couple minutes of me leaning over the counter and asking for assistance we were still met with silence. Shortly after an employee came in from delivering an order to a drive thru car that had to "pull up and wait", she assisted us at the counter. We were then able to pay for our order, clean off our own table (as they were all dirty) and wait for our food. The state of cleanliness of this particular establishment is nothing less the absolutely disgusting. (See pictures) IMO if the health department ever came to inspect this place, there is no doubt in my mind that it would get shut down ... We will not be visiting this place again anytime soon. read more

I came up to McDonald's this morning,(which I'm still here @5:31am) and when I pull up to order, someone from inside tells me that they aren't open yet?..that they started opening at 6 now instead? And yet, in multiple different online resources, it definitely says that they're open right now. (See screenshots below) So my question is, are y'all really closed until 6am on Saturdays now? If so, there needs to be a change made on all of these sites that I've found, saying otherwise... ASAP. Because if I was told false information, I'm going to have a serious problem, considering I'm sitting outside in my car, waiting for y'all to open up so I don't have to drive back home for 10 mins, just to drive back up here at 6. This is absolutely ridiculous and I think it's a huge problem that the time hasn't been changed anywhere you look to see if McDonald's in Pembroke is open at 5am on a Saturday. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I have never in my life been to a McDonald's that takes as little pride in themselves as the leading fast food chain in the entire world than this one here. For some reason I keep coming back though. Expecting better, knowing that I will be met with even greater disappointment than the previous visit. It's the definition of insanity, to think that if I keep doing the same thing and expect different results. Maybe I'm insane. Or maybe the rude, belligerent and downright nasty staff that work here are insane. Every single time I come here. There is something wrong with the order. I've come to this location a few random times. Every time there has been an issue with something. The most recent time I went, the ice cream machine was "down" whatever that means. The time before that the hamburger bun was completely stale and cold. The time before that the place was filled with juveniles who were noisy and not ordering a thing. Over all I would not recommend this location to anyone but this town only has McDonald's and DQ so I know that won't stop their business. On a good note this location is always clean it appears so that's a positive for this review. read more

My order was processed correctly, and it's impressive to see a McDonald's with a 100 health rating. However, two stars deducted for the suuuuuper slow service. Also, while not overtly rude, the workers were brusque and dismissive. Update: still moving at sloth-like speeds but the drive-thru employees were much friendlier this go, so I added a star. read more

Stopped here for a large tea and apple pies after a day of class. Don't waste your time. Service was bad and rude, not even a thank you. Out of all cups except regular again and the sweet tea was 3 hours past due and not sweet. He pies were ok but expired, good thing I went through the drive through. I will be the first to admit that this McDonalds is a little slow. However, today after ordering food for my kids and myself, I realized I forgot my wallet at the house. I tried to pay with ApplePay and it wasn't linked to my new debit card. I had to call the bank to get the numbers for the new card to add the card to my ApplePay. I pulled into the waiting lane for the drive thru to do this. As I am a regular customer here, the manager brought my food out to me and said l, "Don't worry about it. We see you here all the time. You're patronage is the most important to us." It was $20 worth of food and I just want to say that that was the nicest gesture by a restaurant that I've ever personally been extended. When lines are long they tell you to park in the Handicap parking places, when you tell them you are not handicapped nor wish risking to get a $500 ticket they feel the need to have an attitude say and let you know then the line will not move and slam the window. They are even ruder when you walk in to get your money back. They have no values/morals nor respect for customers that chooses not to break the law! This is not the first time this issue has came up with this location. The Owners apparently don't care either! I don't typically do reviews for fast food restaurants but the hospitality at this McDonald's was way above par. The lady at the drive-thru or probably one of the sweetest people I've ever met working at a fast food place great job for a McDonald's. if I ever come back driving through this small little town I will stop by and eat here. I am very very upset about how this mc Donald's it it was absolutely disgusting with flies everywhere and the service was not it. When I ordered my food I was very clear and all about what I wanted and the worker puts the whole wrong order on and i had to pay 30 dollars and I didint get any thing that I ordered I got 4 mc doubles I wanted only 2 and I got charged for 4 I wanted 2 pineapple mango smoothies and got one strawberry banana one I wanted a large dr pepper and got nothing I wanted 3 ten pieces meals and I got four charged and no fries with any of my meals also didint get any of my sauces that I wanted and i just wanted some food. read more
