It's McDonald's. Not my favorite place, and Kid K has gotten away from wanting Happy Meals aaallllll the time. But today she wanted one, and we needed something to eat before the pumpkin patch. No lines inside or out. Clean inside. Easy access off the highway. Kiosks were not working right; ordered there but paid at counter. Friendly service. Not very fast for fast food, considering they weren't busy. But didn't hold us up too long. K liked her Happy Meal. Nuggets, fries, apples, milk. Semi-healthy. I got a McDouble. It was... edible. $3 for a double burger, blah meat, blah bun, blah toppings. But it was sustenance, and we got back on the road. read more

When I went around to complain, the manager kept the food, my receipt and said she was refusing service as I had used the word "shit". This McDonald's was a mess. I don't frequent fast food restaurants often and McDonalds is generally my last pick, even when things are dire. Today was a prime example of why that is. I randomly got off the exit here because my sister and I were starving. We had a 40 minute drive ahead of us and we had to grab a quick bite to eat. At first we got in the drive through line. It wasn't too long and we were happy to wait. That was until several minutes had gone by and the line hadn't moved. We then decided to quickly park and run in to order. We immediately regretted that decision when we opened the doors. There were about eight customers standing around, all that had ordered and were waiting for their food. We went ahead and placed our orders and went to grab our drinks. Oh no, they were out of ice. It was about eleven in the morning so we were shocked. We waited several minutes at the counter before we were acknowledged and given ice from the kitchen. And then we waited. And we waiting some more. In the meantime I pulled up their Yelp page to get feedback from other Yelpers and surprise! This painfully slow service was typical. After what felt like forever, we finally got our food and jumped in the car to hit the road again. We were a few minutes down the highway when I realized my order was wrong. I'm a vegetarian and ordered an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. The one I got had ham on it. Big bummer! My hash brown was tasty though. It was crispy and you could tell it was just made. I would definitely suggest stopping at a different location if you're cruising down route 70 and need a quick bite. The service was poor and slow and in my case it was not worth the wait. read more

Horrible and super super slow, especially if you go inside. Now I know that the drive thru has priority, but. There were 3 people in front of me, each of them got two sandwiches. It took over 10 minutes for the first guy to get his. Apparently he broke the seal for the rest of us. Within a minute of him getting his, we all got ours no more than a minute apart. God love, the girl running the register. She has to stay on the front line while customers around. I know because I worked in fast food for years when I was a teenager and into my early twenties. But even she was getting frustrated. All I did was wait and talk with the other guests about how young kids today, have no work ethic or drive to do anything for themselves. So sad. The drive thru was horrible on a Sunday at 1:45ish in the afternoon. I hate when customers go around the the line to cut in on that outside ordering lane. Then that lane moved three to 1 compared to the inside. When I got the ordering speaker, the person told me to hold on. Ok. But then two cars ordered on the outside lane before I went. After asking what was up, the person said "oh sorry, go ahead". 25 minutes for four drinks is ridiculous. Yes I should have gone inside but when there was o my three cars infront of me in the drive thru I thought it was have been faster. If I could give it no stars I would! I will never go to this McDonald's ever again. I was greeted by a young girl with long brown hair and her first words were " Wat Up watcha want". Well, I wanted my grandbabies' food right! The chicken nuggets looked like they were fried in year-old grease. My spicy crispy chicken sandwich was literally garbage and burnt from the grease. So they remade the food and the new food looked even worse. A manager, I guess, came over and said it's the grease, we haven't changed it, so you get what you get right now. I chose to get my money. I nor my grandbabies were going to eat that trash. Old grease, I think not. And for the ghetto-talking girl and the two teenage boys that were smacking each other on the butt and grabbing each other's nipples, that was beyond ridiculous. Short update: as shown from my previous, lengthy negative review, I am not too fond of this McDonald's location. I try my hardest to stay as far away as possible, but tonight I was left with little choice. I pulled into the empty drive-thru and waited for my order to be taken. A minute or so passed and still no sign of acknowledgment so I put my car in park and waited....and waited... After five minutes and a few "hellooo's", I take a look at the line accumulating behind me and see four other cars. I became frustrated and pulled out of the drive-thru line to park and go inside. I came around the front to find a large group of employees gathered around front sitting outside. Obviously something must have gone wrong inside for them all to need to leave the building together- the lights inside were still on and there were no police cars, ambulances, nor fire trucks so it was hard to tell. When I left the parking lot, I noticed two more cars file behind the growing line. It was simply frustrating that the employees were sitting out front chit chatting, giving no indication that they were unable to stay open at the time. With a growing drive-thru line, you would think someone would at least put up a sign rather than sit and do nothing! The time was around 8:00pm, during normal hours. Went to McDonald's in Pataskala this morning (7/28/22) Drive thru ordered a Steak egg cheese bagel. Open the bag to check it, I saw the bagel so figured they had that right, hash brown, and coffee. Well, I got home and open my sandwich and guess what? It was a sausage egg cheese bagel. Went to Taco Bell last week in Blacklick and ordered a Supreme Steak Burrito, go home and it was a bean burrito. The food really isn't all that good in these fast food restaurants but at least they can get the orders right! And I haven't even started with Donatos! In Blacklick. So what's a girl supposed to do? I should have left as soon as I got in line at the counter. I witnessed a girl taking some sort of meat off of a salad and placing it back in the warming trays then replacing with some other meat. YIKES ! Well, I wasn't here for a salad so I placed my order. My fries were cold. My McNuggets were cold and dry (during lunch rush too). I was starving so I could eat these two items. I also got a quarter-pounder with cheese. It was really juicy when I bit into it. Then I noticed the bright red blood that was dripping out of the rear of the burger and all over the table. Can I get some McSalmonella to go please ? I really enjoy medium rare steaks but I draw the line at completely raw McBeef. There were 15 people waiting at the counter so I didn't bother raising a stink to get my $4 back and I definitely didn't want it replaced. I tore the burger in half and left it for all to see. I used to work there. My GM Carlos called me the N word and I quit. I went back as a customer today he tried to argue with me about my order being wrong and he, himself messed my order up twice. The food was cold the first time and I went back to get fresh food and he insisted on talking to me after I explained what what I need from them. He refused to listen and he was arguing that I said I didn't get my food when I had a complaint that my food was still partially frozen. -1/10 would not recommend. This is by far the worst McDonald's I've been to in a long time. Yet again another place around Pataskala that we try to avoid it all costs because we have so many problems there. I decided to stop at the drive-thru for a large drink the other night. All I ordered was a large root beer. Shouldn't be that hard, right? I got up to the window and paid then went to the second window waiting for my drink. This kid who looked to be about 12 years old open the window and gave me a confused look then handed me a shamrock shake and a bag of food. I'm not normally the kind of person who would do something like this, but I took the food and left. I figured I had dealt with enough screw-ups at this location that I finally deserved something in return. As I'm driving home I realized that the person in front of me probably got my drink, because if you're going to screw something up you might as well just go ahead and screw everything up, at least that seems to be their motto at that location. read more

Didn't have any problems with the drive thru: my order was correct, hot, and I only waited a minute or so. The food was standard McDonalds fare. They do appear to have a Wi-Fi connection hooked up to Nintendo's 3DS Street Pass/ Spot Pass system as while in line noticed the green light on my 2DS light up. That's always a plus! read more

This was by far one of the worst mcdonalds. For starters sandwiches were literally thrown together. Upon entering the play area we were overwhelmed by the smell of urine. The floors and tables were dirty. Even the softer side of the floor was covered with crumbs and pieces. My 3 old then got stuck up top so i was forced to climb up. This is possibly the absolute worst McDonald's I've been to. And I've traveled pretty far. The shittiness of this McPitStop is something to behold. Sometimes it's the only thing available to me if I'm working late in the area though, so I keep coming back to experience their abuse. The drive thru takes forever, and what's sad is that I often get either the wrong order or partially cold food. This is when the order isn't just outright disgusting. I think the late night crew seasons thing with fistfuls of salt. I also think the late night crew just occasionally decides to go cash only. I'm not sure if it's actual technical issues, it's possible, but it's just as likely to me that the unprofessional kids they have working just want to do less work so they say "cash only" because their manager isn't there to tell them otherwise. Let's be honest, I don't expect much from McDonalds. But I do expect more from living human beings in a workplace. If they were dead, this level of activity would be a lot more understandable, considering the employees that were not dead would have to do more work and step over decaying bodies. read more

It's McDonald's. What more can u say? My food is usually hot when I get it but unfortunately, my problem here is with the service. It's filled with what seems to be high school employees and evidently they all know one another. With that being said, professionalism is out the door. There are plenty of times that my order has been incorrect simply because they're in the kitchen playing around and not paying attention to what they're supposed to be doing. I grew up in McDonald's, my mother was a GM and an owner for years, so I grew up with intimate knowledge of the policies and the procedures that are SUPPOSED to be adhered to. This one fails miserably. The only reason that I frequent this one is it's the closest to my house. If I had a better choice, I go to the one further in Pataskala or Reynoldsburg. read more

I've been there twice in a month recently just after 11:00pm and they were closed for maintenance. Tonight I called before I went, and the kid who answered the phone told me that they're actually closed. I asked, "even the drive through?" He said, "yes even the drive through... I wouldn't normally waste my time writing a review for a fast food restaurant, however my experience was so bad I had to. I waited 15 minutes to receive a cheeseburger, fries and a diet coke. I received a reg. coke, fries that were beyond stale and a cheeseburger that had more mayo than burger or bread.
