I've gone to the store only twice in this whole year mostly order off of DoorDash for home delivery. but during my visits, employees seem rather upset, annoyed, or distressed with their work. theres a lot of attitudes being said towards me during my ordering process. not to mention they re-said my order to me, put it onscreen how I wanted it, and still managed to get the order wrong and not how we requested simply as no pickles and there still was pickles! not a big thing, but one of those small little things. read more

I ordered 3 happy meals with 2 of them being chicken nuggets. When I received my food, I looked in the drive thru window attendant and asked if the BBQ sauce in the bag. He confidently assured me it was there. Alas it was not....thanks for nothing. They are fast, friendly, and inaccurate. This isn't the first time. Always check your food before leaving. Pretty bad! I stopped to get an iced coffee. The line in drive thru took forever. When I finally ordered and got the iced coffee it was horrible! I have gotten it at other Mc Donald's and this particular one is about the worst. The employees are so slow and could care less about customer service. Incompetent! That does not even start with what would describe the workers. There are two drive through lanes down to one to pay. The line was long when I got to the pay window she was taking someone else's order. When she finally asked for the money there was no one in front of me for the delivery window. I ordered a small fry $1.92 gave her 2 dollars and 2 pennies. She gives me a nickel. The paper receipt even said 10 cents. I asked her why a nickel and she said "oops" she then looked around and finally said she could not open the register. "Could you please just take the nickel" The last time I went I ordered two big macs. They made me park, brought it out to me 15 minutes later. When I got home one big Mac was made correctly the other one was all the ingredients were on the bottom bun with the center bun on top of them and nothing between the center bun and the top bun. Came here at 2 am to have some quick food and was disappointed they have told me three different nights they only take cash and there card machine is down so tonight I went and grabbed cash and got two McChickens and a small fry just to be told I have to wait 4 minutes which is fine fresh food but no the mcchickens were just warm and terribly put together and to top it off the fries were cold and stale like why do I have to wait four minutes just to have old food and there was nobody else in the drive thru at least is your gonna make me wait give me fresh food will not be coming back late at night ever. read more

McDonald's Just spent a ton of money remodeling this location and while it looks nice, I believe they need to invest more into employee training! Their lines are horrible and very slow. They always attempt to ring up the wrong sale and charge me for someone else's order. When you get to the line to pick up food, it's correct maybe half the time. Then to top it off, they hand me a drink that has come dripping off the sides. I'm supposed to put that in my cup holder?? They act like it's an imposition to wipe off the cup. That would take a 1/2 second if they incorporated this step int their procedures. The reason I go through the drive through is because there is basically no parking now. It's pretty awful but I could get over that if this new double line actually worked. They still don't know what they're doing with it and even the employees working there seem confused. We stopped to pick up our kids lunch today. Our experience started when we pulled up. My husband asked if we could have two number sixes. The female on the mic replied back "No". After a pause by both parties she started laughing. We placed our order, paid and moved to the pick up window. We were handed our order. My husband asked if there was BBQ sauce in the bag. The female at the window replied " I am just the smile and wave station you tell me." We wouldn't have to ask if items were in the bag if this location wasn't consistently forgetting to put items in the bag. I regret it every time we choose to go to this location. So we came here for lunch... the girl behind the counter refused to take our order told us she had to use the automated thing. Really no customer service anymore. The some how two medium fries were added to my order that I didn't order. So when I ask for my money back she just reached into her cash drawer and hand me $5 it only came to $4:48. When I told her that her drawer was going to be short, she said don't worry about it she has already made it up. What the heck does that mean? This location is generally ok. The staff is generally nice. The location clean. We go for a quick fix. I do like that I can still get out late night cookies here when other locations aren't willing to "make" them. I usually do not partake in the McDonalds experience but last night I confirmed why I don't. After sitting in the pull up lane for 10 min waiting on a few burgers and fries I made the trip inside to see what was going on. I asked what was up and was told that we were waiting on fries. In the past the food was "OK" - it is McDonald's. But at least the service was quick and reliable. You could get in and out with the food you order at a good price. Not any more!! The kiosk and new management have been able to turn it into the worst service in a 10 mile radius. You're supposed to order your food at the kiosk and they tell you to sit down and they will bring the food to you. Well the don't bring it to you, they expect you to hang out as they then proceed to call out your food and drink separately,and what used to take 30 seconds to get food now takes 20 mins as you get 1 order item at a time. And don't dare complain to the manager on duty (Nicole). After waiting 20 mins for my food at the table (like I was told) I went up to the counter to let them know I had not received my food. When I got to the register, receipt in hand, Nicole proceed to usher people around me so she could help them completely ignoring me. I finally interrupted her ignoring me I told her I had not gotten my food and that many people after me had been served their food. She proceeded to tell me (without looking at my ticket and in a condescending tone) that they were backed up and the food was on its way, to not worry and go sit down, that she had me covered. I went to sit down and another 15 mins went by (35 mins total) so I went back up to the counter and when I told Nicole that I had not gotten my food and I wanted my money back and was leaving to eat somewhere else - she proceeded to tell me "It's not the end of the world". Well Nicole crappy service isn't the end of the world but it sure may be the beginning of the end of your business. read more

I took my son to McDonalds on Fleming Island to grab a quick dinner and the experience was so atrocious it was almost comical. First of all, whenever I eat fast food, my expectations are not very high to begin with, but you do expect one thing from a visit, consistency. My son wanted a McDouble but I convinced him to try a Big Mac since he had never had one before. I ordered McNuggets and we shared a large french fries. We got our drinks, went back to the counter to pick up our tray of food and then found a table. We sat down and my son opened his Big Mac container and the top half had nothing in between the buns. Notta. No all beef patty, no special sauce, no cheese, no lettuce, no onions. Just two pieces of bread on the top half. I told him that was not right and he took it back to the counter. He then came back to our table, opened the carton again and in between the pieces of bread was now a small burger patty. That's it! I took it back this time and asked for the manager. She took the burger from me, said she would "make it herself" but never offered an apology. She then slapped a new Big Mac together like it was the billionth one she ever made and if I am not mistaken put it back it the same carton the previous one was in. Not entirely sure about this but it definitely was not a new carton because it had no Monopoly game pieces on it. So much for my teenager's first Big Mac experience! Oh, almost forgot to mention why I was in the bathroom washing my hands, the sink filled because the drain was clogged and then I had no towels to dry off with. This a.m. I visited McDonald's on 220 and was so frustrated by the time I left I decided I would write a review. I had to place my order 6 times before they got it right and then did not get the correct change. Granted it was under 5 cents but at this point it was just another insult. I have to clarify my order twice at drive up intercom, twice again at the payment window and twice again at the pick up window as they got the order wrong every time. Let me be clear I do not have an strange accent either. They asked me to move forward to deliver my order to my car but still neglected to bring me the correct change. WOW unbelieveable. read more

I may not be lovin it, but I'm liking it. This location does a real good job getting the food out as ordered. They are quick and the drive-thru employees are friendly. During breakfast, try a classic egg Mcmuffin or a becon, egg & cheese bagel. Don't forget the hash browns. Yogurt parfait! For lunch, you must try the crispy or grilled Mcwrap or the snack wrap if you are on a budget. The salads are pretty good too and the McRib, amazing. They have really diversified their menu over the years and have some semi-heathy stuff. The downside is the amount of salt on the frys. There is enough to keep them preserved for years. Fun Fact. Did you know you can get fries with NO salt? 5 star fast food restaurant, just hold the salt. read more

I feel sorry for the young employees who have to listen to the new manager shouting out orders like a drill Sargent. This place has gone straight down hill as far as customer service. This morning with customers lined up at the counter I heard the manager tell her employee "don't take any more orders at the registers " forcing customers to use the kiosks, and then wait 10 mins for their orders. I find it quicker to go through the drive through then come inside to eat. Hopefully these new owners will realize that Fleming Island isn't Miami or Orlando and that residents want the level of customer service that was provided my the previous ownership. read more

I have visited this location over 50 times... now newly remodeled.... looks great, but no customer service. I waited for someone to help me at the ordering counter, they ignored me. Then eventually the told me I had to order using a kiosk. What ever happened to customer service, service with a smile... nope not here go talk to a computer, we don't want your business. The customer service here has really gone downhill. If you eat in, they will no longer take your order at the counter, but force you to use the kiosks. If you need any help with the kiosks, you're treated like a huge inconvenience to them. I went through the drive thru the other day with my brother, who ordered two chicken sandwiches with buffalo sauce on the side. After we paid, we were instructed to pull forward and park, as our food wasn't ready yet. When the manager (yes, the manager) finally brought our food out, there was no buffalo sauce. No big deal, sometimes little things are forgotten. My brother asked "can I get two buffalo sauces?" The manager stares blankly at him. He stared back and said "can I?" The manager then rolls her eyes and goes "I guess I'll go get it" and walks away in a huff. Wth? When she comes back, she literally tosses the sauce at him through the drivers window. My brother obviously is looking irritated, when she goes "oh lighten up. Smile! It's Friday!" My brother and I were both weirded out to say the least.
