Well tried the Big Mac with chicken instead of beef patties which is new. Now I'm not a regular McDonald's visitor because I remember when the Big Mac first came out. Anyway opening the box I wasn't impressed it looked rather dry, but I took a bite and it was dry even though there was the Big Mac sauce but not a lot. So I added some salad dressing, cut some tomato, added onion and it was better. My reason for 2 stars is that my food was all just barely lukewarm. my grandson asked if we could cheat and eat a few fries as we drove away from McDonald's. I told him sure just be careful you don't get burnt the fries usually are very hot. he reached in the sack and got a few fries and said don't worry grandpa they're not hot at all, actually cold. We live within about 5 or 6 minutes from them and I was really surprised when we got home and the sack wasn't real warm to the touch. We visited this store one evening and from rude service to a completely wrong order it was just chaos. Then I filled out a survey from the receipt. I got a call from the "manager" and she said she would send out some cards for a few free meals and seemed like she listened and cared for our concerns, but several months later, never received them. I usually order ahead on the app, and it still takes far too long to get my food here. Several times, they have been unable to find my order even when I've shown it to them on the app and double-checked that the order is paid for and I'm at the correct location. Even when they do find the order, half the time I end up sitting at the window or in a mobile order parking spot for several minutes. Once they even messed up our entire order. This location is horrible. I have been here several times for breakfast and they always make you pull to a "wait" spot anytime you order a McCafe coffee. Today I ordered one was told to wait (keep in mind there was nobody else in the drive thru) then after 10 mins I had to go in to ask for my coffee after standing there for 2-3 minutes while employees just stared at me. It wasnt made.... Manager is trying to make a vanilla latte, literally with a push of a button, looks at me, says he can't make it and walks to the back. He returns with $5 dollars. My coffee was more than the $5.00. So let's review, i'm a customer who waits innline for 10 mins, has to leave his car to go ask when the coffee will come out, waits another 2-3 mins inside, only to find a manager who cannot make something on the menu and refunds a customer SHORT.... nice work McDonald's. read more

Midnight in a saturday. Mcds and tbell are the only places in sight serving food. I picked wrong. Mcds had a line a mile long that wasnt moving. I gave the benefit of the doubt at first, surely theres some reason it's going to slowly. There was. Not a good one. When I got to the window I figured it out. There was a kid in his early twenties working the window and MAN did he look like a stoner. While he was giving me intensely uncomfortable eye contact I noticed, looking anywhere I could but at him, that his coworker, who looked like he practically invented his own drugs, was standing next to him. He was playing on his phone, high enough above the drive thru window for me to see it. You have ten people in your driveway and I placed my order twenty minutes ago. AND YOURE PLAYING ON YOUR PHONE!!!! THEN we get to where my order was not right at all. PSA mcdonalds, NO ONE wants your nuggets without dipping sauce. When I specially ask for sauce, give me your sauce. SECONDLY, when you said "sure" to giving me my burger without onions, make sure you stick to that. I dont want onions on my burgers, and that's probably the most common change people request. It's not hard. You're ridiculous mcdonalds. That's all i can say. This review is about restaurant #21012 and today's date is 03/21/2018 at 7:05 am, KS #13 and order #43. Not proud of myself but needed breakfast and a coffee and was running late to work and had forgotten to make my overnight oats. Thought I can run through McDonald's. It will be fast. Pulled in to quickly order a mocha and an egg and cheese biscuit. Ordered a medium nonfat mocha. Got a small black coffee with a bit of milk thrown in. Imagine my surprise when I was a block away heading to work and I took my first drink. To my credit I did not spit it out. Wanted to go back and ask about the order but like I said I was behind schedule utterly disappointed. My $5.78 was not well spent and I will just make sure that in the future if I want a mocha that I will not worry about the line at Starbucks. This McDonald's needs to update their hours. Oh Saturdays it says they are open till 1AM. I've drove by between 12-1230AM when I get off the last couple weeks and lights are off and they are closed. I tried to stand by this franchise location for a long time, but I can't anymore. I often stop by later on the evening or in the middle of the night as I keep odd hours. I'm greeted with apathy most often and I never know what to expect. The ice cream machine's availability is a crap shoot, they may or may not only take cash or they could randomly straight up be closed. Another franchise is about 10 minutes away. It's cleaner, the staff is more professional and the food is fresher. They're also open 24 hours just like the circus near me. If you want a staff that actually seems to respect you, hit up Taco Bell right next door. I feel bad for the hard working and kind folks at this McD's because there are some. My advice if you do stop by at night: Check your food and be prepared to go back through the drive through. read more

This is a tale of two restaurants in one. The morning shift at this location is fabulous. So friendly, fast, and accurate. I almost feel like I know the drive-thru folks, because I'm here way too much. But it's just so darn pleasant in the AM here. Now, the PM experience is entirely different. It's more common than not to get the incorrect food. And that's usually after you've waited forever and a day just to get it. The dinner employees are probably going to treat you like an inconvenience, and that's only if you don't say something about them giving you the wrong food. That will earn you eye-rolls and arguing. I've only ever sent in formal complaints to a business three times in my whole life, and this is one of them. To be fair though, the franchise owner promptly responded, apologized, and sent cards for a free replacement meal of the original botched order. The problem is, I had rude service while actually using the cards. "Wow, looks like SOMEONE gets free food. THAT must be nice *eye roll*". I keep going back though, because the location is way too close to my house, but it's definitely less often now. Which is probably a good thing anyway:) read more

This McDonald's hasn't got an order right since they opened and they're incredibly rude besides. It took 3 times today to get a Cheeseburger with just pickles right. I realize it's a special order, but it's not that complicated! The first one had everything (hard to scrape off ketchup!) and the replacement didn't have cheese. How do you have a cheeseburger with no cheese? And I ended up with a Diet Coke instead of a Coke. And she was nasty! I know it might suck to work at McDonald's in your 50's, but she picked it. Now, I know, McDonald's get's hit all the time in the news for all of the things that can accompany fast food...but the same thing can be said for every other fast food joint, and many sit down eateries. I mean, are you going to tell me that a bread and butter, then a deep fried "Bloomin' Onion", followed by a buttery steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and an alcoholic drink or two are really better for you than your favorite order at McDonald's? What about a sausage pizza covered in greasy cheese? My take on all of that is that some activist groups got pissed at McDonald's for whatever reason, and subsequently did a bunch of takedown hatchet pieces on them. And....oh yeah....and there is that small matter of personal responsibility we each have when it comes to selecting the food we eat, and that which we feed our children. The last time I checked, McDonalds was not dispatching agents to force people to eat their food. Anyway....... McDonald's is consistent, the food is hot and fresh, and it tastes the same regardless of what city, state, or country you find yourself needing good, fast food. Best of all...IT'S CHEAP! The only true differences between locations are in the customer service. I live closer to some other locations, and the service there is less than stellar. In fact, I have been stuck in some drive thru lines for over 20 minutes before, only to be (not) greeted by the unfriendly staff. This 180th & Center location, however, has very friendly people working there, they have always given me the correct order at the drive thru, I leave with a good feeling about the food I am going to eat, and it always tastes good. Whoever owns this franchise needs to better train their staff I just called and asked if they were 24 hours and they said yes and then told me that there drivethru is closed for cleaning so why would you say your 24 hours and then state you guys won't be open till 4am one of the worst McDonalds I've ever been to the customer service and the managers are very unprofessional. I generally don't review large chain restaurants, as most people know what to expect, especially at McD's. This review is primary in regard to the coffee at this location. I stop here for coffee sometimes late at night when working (usually between 10pm - 12pm). About 1/4 of the time I get a cup of coffee that has been sitting on the burner for a long time, very obvious sludgy burned taste. The other 3/4 of the time it's fine. I bring this up because McD's so heavily promotes their "premium" coffee and that it's brewed every 30 minutes. This is clearly not the case. When fresh, the coffee is OK. Otherwise it tastes like the same old gas station coffee McD's has had in the past. Note to McD's: when there's no one else in line and someone orders coffee that's 3 hours old, please brew a fresh pot -or- make good on your promise to brew every 30 minutes. read more

Just had to give a shout out to this McDonald's staff!! My MIL was in Lakeside for surgery and the only thing she wanted was sweet tea from McDonalds; in fact, she asked for it before she asked for anything else. My fiancé and I went to the closet McDonalds with a large container to keep her satisfied, and we were willing to pay for as many cups as it would take to fill. To our surprise, the young man at the counter charged us for a large drink and seemed genuinely concerned about our family. Kudos to whoever runs this team and restaurant. They honestly deserve 0 stars. They gave us stale fries. They were so bad I gave them to my dog who loves any sort of human food she can get and she spit out the first one and didn't eat anymore. The chicken looked undercooked. They forgot our ranch and when I asked for ketchup he rolled his eyes and gave us two packets. The soda was watered down. Not to mention they took forever and we were the only customers. They were very rude and you could barley finish talking without them cutting you off. I have had some bad dinning experiences in the past, but this trip to McDonald's was one I wish I could forget. A friend and I were in the area and decided to go in and grab a quick bite to eat. Walked in and ordered 20 chicken nuggets and paid for it. I turned around to walk away and they called my number. I was a little skeptical that my nuggets would be anywhere near fresh especially because it looked like they going through a Shift change when we walked in. My suspicions were confirmed when I got to my table and open up my box of nuggets. The nuggets appeared to be dry and super crispy as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. My friend laughed when he saw they and told me to try them, so I broke one of them in half and it literally made a crunch sound. Not a super loud crunch, but just loud enough to let me know that I didn't want to eat them. No big deal I thought to myself, I should have just asked them to make them fresh in the first place. So I walked up to the counter with my box of crispy nuggets and presented them to the cashier. I explained that the nuggets were not fresh and that I would like some fresh ones if it wasn't too much trouble. She took them and replied "No problem, we'll get you some fresh ones made up right now." I also ordered a medium fry to snack on while I waited for the Fresh Nuggets, I then watched as the cashier took my nuggets and put them on the counter behind her and went back into the kitchen area and yell "Fresh! Fresh! Fresh Nuggets!!" I stood up front in hopes that my fries wouldn't take too long. One of the managers assured me that they would bring my food out to my table in no time not once but five times in the two minutes that I stood there waiting. I decided to go back to my table since it appeared that me standing there was bothering the manager. I then waited at my table for a few more minutes (if I had to guess I'd say it was around five or six minutes) before an employee came out with my box of "fresh nuggets". I was so hungry and happy to get my "fresh nuggets" that I didn't even bother to ask where my fries were. I tore open the box expecting to see fresh golden brown nuggets, but what I got was the same nuggets that I had already received only this time they had Refried them! I was in shock, 'could this really be happening' I thought to myself as I sat there in disbelief. I decided I'd just wait till I got my fries before I said anything, besides it shouldn't take too much longer for my fries to come out and they should be fresh since I've been waiting for them this long... Five minutes later I decided to go up and ask them where my fries were and what was up with my nuggets. "Oh, we made your nuggets fresh for you like you asked, and the fries will be out soon" was the response I was given with a smile. I decide to just let them keep the nuggets because at this point it seemed like a lost cause. I decided to go back to my table and just for laughs see how long it took to get my fries while I waited for my friend to finish his food. I stopped by for breakfast and a Hispanic woman took my order when she handed it to me she took my hash browns and told me I didn't pay for hash browns I got parfaits so I told her no I didn't ask for that so instead of just giving me the hash browns she charged me for 2 parfaits. I work in fast food myself, as for the shake machine, it is the managers that are suppose to clean and put the machine together and if that can't happen right away because of something else having to happen, or you get busy then the shake machine has to take a back seat. As for the staff being a little short well have several nasty, rude customer come through your line and see if you can continue to keep a fake smile on your face all the while you would rather strangle those rude and nasty customers. Imagine having that happen all day long and see if you can keep your composure.
