I came here yesterday with my friends, keep in mind they are minors. One of the workers made this experience very uncomfortable for us all and honestly made us want to get out of there. In our life we had weird experiences happen to us with sexuality harassment ect. but this wasn't really that, this was something different entirely. We went in ate some food and were talking then a worker came up to our face and let out a big fart and burped in our faces and said "look i can burp too" at first i was jsut trying to be nice but it got out of hand when he said that i should and i quote "poop and fart in my friends mouth while he is sleeping" i felt so uncomfortable in this that we jsut kept trying to get away eventually left. My burger from this MCD's was absolutely the most disgusting thing I've ever had from a McDonald's! The bun was falling apart stale, the meat was cold like it had been lying around all afternoon and the fries were so over cooked and cold! One bite and I threw it out the window! Waited at the counter for my food to be made. It came up, two separate employees unwrapped my burger, peeled back the top to see what was inside and then slapped it all back together. Not my best Mcdonald's experience I visit McDonald's fairly frequently and so I have become used to the level of customer experience that most of these restaurants follow. At most other locations that I have visited, the staff is friendly, the place is clean, orders are taken in a timely manner and customers, generally, walk away happy. That was not my experience at this location. I walked into the establishment and should have known that this may be a different experience. Some lights were out. There was food and an empty cup in front of the counter on the floor. People were waiting to order and to receive their orders. The staff was harried and the manager was rude. In fact, the manager yelled at an employee that was trying to help a customer that had been waiting to order for, easily 5 minutes. I was sure to get my order and leave as quickly as possible to minimize my time in the atmosphere. I was extremely disappointed and was reluctant to even rate it but want to make sure that anyone wanting Mcdonald's in this area may want to choose another location or try the drive-through. I hope for the sake of the employees and the customers that the experience improves soon. Good luck. read more

Ordered online, got my order wrong, gave it to someone else, brought it back to me but was missing something. So I went inside and told them that they were missing something, only to be told by the person who got my order wrong and gave it to the other person, that I was wrong that there wasn't anything missing. The manager on duty picked up the phone and didn't give me any indication that she was actually sorry. That her staff was rude. It kind of sucks that you know you order food and you expect it to at least be right and if it's wrong they'll fix it because you're paying them. I didn't expect any freebies, I didn't ask for any freebies, I just wanted to be told that that person who was rude, would be trained again. At least, at best I would have liked an apology from the employee. Asked if they had Coke Zero employee Kept saying diet I said no Coke Zero kept saying I don't know so finally I said I'm confused I'm just trying to get a Coke Zero. finally found out it's just diet. so I said that's fine I'll take water as I didn't want diet coke. come to the window they've Charged me for a bottled water it's 70 cents no big deal. I say no I want a cup of water. manager Ashley says if you get water with a combo you have to pay more I say no every McDonald's I've ever went to I say I want water instead of soda they give me a cup And don't charge me extra how does that make Sense. Went through this evening and had an issue with my order. The manager came to the window and was incredibly rude and talked to me like I was a child and upon fixing the order slammed it down on the counter. The guy giving the food out at the window was polite and would have made a hell of a better manager than the older lady that I can only assume was the manager. Put in a mobile order to find out the dining room was closed due to staffing - completely fine. Waited in the drive through for an hour the line did not move. Left due to other obligations. When I returned later that day to sort out the issue I spoke with Kayla who was absolutely amazing! She explained I could come back that following Friday and get my order made. I attempted to do that. I got there early planning to have to wait. After half an hour my order was not even entered in. I still have not gotten my order that was paid and would not recommend coming here if in any kind of urgency is a factor. read more

I have mixed reviews for this McDonald's because breakfast is always spot on, but I went for dinner in a hurry and didn't receive what I ordered but I didn't have time to run back. Ordered a Big Mac with no bun and opened it to a bun with special note taped on the box saying no bun. Then my son wanted honey mustard, so when asked for sauce, I mentioned it, but when we drove away there was none. He was super bummed. All I can say is Really!!!!!! I'm not sure how this restaurant stays in business. Its funny how the McDonald's on the oak ridge turn pike can at times be a decent and the one at the Illinois location is totally unbearable. I'm not really a big Mcdonald's fan but we do enjoy the frappe that they serve. My question is how do you mess up something that is premade and all you have to do is add crushed ice and the toppings? Saturday Sept 17th when I pulled up to order in the 1st lane the girl put me on hold then proceeded to take orders in the 2nd lane from cars that pulled up after me. Finally got her attention and placed the order. When I pulled to the 2nd window she asked me to pull over and wait and she would bring the frappe I ordered to my car. On August 4th 2016 8:30 p.m. went through the drive-thru ordered my meal, proceeded to go to the first window to pay, when I pulled up the woman at the window who was an African American woman proceeded to make a comment on the American flags that I have on my truck. The comment that was made was that the first time I seen someone driving with American flags and not Confederate flags, I said really then she proceeded to tell me if I knew what the Confederate flag really means, which that I told her I don't think a lot of people know what it really is but some people like to make up their own ideas about it. The woman proceeded to tell me that the flags are racist and it represented slavery, and all white people are were slave owners and slave drivers, at this point I said I don't really believe that is completely right. The African American woman stopped me in mid-sentence and said no white people own slaves and white people think they're their best to race and put down African Americans, first off I come there to buy a cheeseburger not to have a conversation about racism, second of all how dare anybody say something like that to somebody's face that's just pulling up to pay for a cheeseburger. My point is is I went to a restaurant, went through the drive-thru, ordered a meal, and was completely attacked over having American flags on my truck which I'm proud of my country, and had to listen to a story about slavery and racism which I not alive for, and did not deserve because I'm not prejudice. I am posting on Yelp and given a one-star for the simple fact that I cannot believe in 46 years I have never experienced such rude customer service ever in my lifetime and I'm from Jersey. read more

Usually I go through the drive-thru and end up in the reserved section while they slowly make my mocha frappe. Today I went inside for breakfast. Not only did they forget me after I ordered but when they asked me if I was ready to order (again? Really!) they got my order wrong and took forever to make my mocha frappe. Went 8-20-13 I stopped there to get breakfast this morning and ordered 3 sausage biscuits and 4 apple pies. I only received 3 of the pies so my wife called to remedy the situation. The girl who answered the phone apparently could not comprehend what time she said we were in there so she proceeded to give the phone to someone else when she happened to hear her call her a bitch. The store manager actually heard this and said she will take care of it but I don't have much faith that anything will be done to reprehend her disgusting behavior. If someone cannot work in the public without calling people offensive names they need to get out of that line of work. When she told the manager she was reporting the store she told me there was no sense in it that the only thing that would happen is the office calling her.
