I make this review because there are a few opinions I have had that changed this visit albeit my number of stars given to the place does remain at a 4. Here's the thing. At first I did not like how the place was renovated. I didn't like how I couldn't just come here when I could the Christmas season before last because it was closed down for the changes. But once I came in here tonight, I've found that they have grown on me so to speak. I had found myself at how impressed I was at the organization of the place as a whole. UberEats has a separate they can enter through to pickup deliveries which is something I have not seen in a fast food restaurant before. Also, this is a clean Chik-Fil-A that actually cleans up after itself. This proves that you CAN be a big franchise and keep a well-functioning restaurant without trashing it to oblivion. Chipotle can seriously take some notes here. Where my opinion has lessened a bit is the waffle fries. You can still taste salt on these, but they're unfortunately not as flavorful as I remember. You know how there's a saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"? Well, that should have applied to the waffle fries here cause they weren't broke before. But they're still good enough that I can't be too mad at it. Everything else I said in my previous review still stands. And the people working here are friendly, especially for fast food service workers. And yes, I still love coming here after REI trips for a nice treat for dinner. Oh, and don't skip the Dragonfruit Lemonade this summer! It's quite refreshing!

It held the sandwich all the way through and didn't break up. I got mine medium so it wasnt too spicy, but overall was cool. The chicken tenders were for my kid- he got them country (no spice). The chicken was solid- same as the Sandos, it could use a bit more seasoning but overall decent chicken. My biggest gripe was the wait and the fries. It took quite a while for my order to be ready and the restaurant wasn't that crowded. Maybe 4 people in the store and possibly a car in drive-thru lane. Yet, when we received the fries they were cold. I went back in and the team was nice enough to provide newer fries and they were warmer, but not much better. My last issue was the sheer amount of fries provided. There are so few given to the customers. When you look at the pictures on the site they show a healthy amount of fries, but what was provided in the order didn't even scratch that surface. You have to call your order but the # and then say "mikes way" or list off the ingredients you want. Honestly the guy making my sub seemed very unhappy to be there and wasn't very kind. For the new and unititiated, a word of admonition: do not let your senses fool you. Dairy King looks like a dive, and tastes like a dive, and not in any delicious way. I get that going pretty much anywhere for ice cream on a hot summer day is fun. What I do not get are comments here asserting that Dairy King's food, particularly their burgers are anything more than mediocre, studiously average at best, and a dubious step up over major chains. To all who will, in the the romantic twilight after Little League games or movies, arrive at Dairy King hungry and ready and willing to scarf down just about anything, I hope for your sake that good experiences continue, that fine memories of family and friends are created and then savored in the hopefully delicious silence of your unfolding life. But for me Dairy King is far behind even the middle of the pack in it's chosen catagory, my days of eating "just about anything" are well behind me, and Dairy King will have to take it the rest of the way without me, at least until the day the real estate developers lean on City Hall to condemn that section of Main Avenue (under a phonied-up interpretation of the eminent domain statutes) and Dairy King inevitably (and blessedly) falls to the wrecking ball, destined to become mixed-use retail with residential up above.
