Here at Eat Sleep Burger, I found the most affordable prices for one of the best gourmet burgers I have ever tasted. All beef patties are flame grilled 100% pure beef! The price I got for a triple quarter pounder with lotsa add-ons, some fries and a beverage, was about the same price I would pay for a single patty quarter pounder in other gourmet burger joints! The place ain't too shabby. It's got enough seats to accomodate a family of 15-20. Serving time is about 10-15 minutes so you know your burger is newly cooked, fresh off-the-grill, unlike some who pre-cook it in the morning and microwave or reheat it later when the orders come. I made sure I skipped breakfast and lunch to make room for their triple quarter pounder with onions, bacon, mushrooms, chees, and egg, with belgian fries and iced tea served in a mason jar. Ahh!! Satisfaction guaranteed!

I got the Bacon Bleu Cheese Meal, a fat and juicy 1/ 3 lbs. well-seasoned pure beef burger patty, smoked and grilled to utmost perfection, topped with fresh lettuce, white onions and sliced red tomatoes; finished with an abundant amount of bleu cheese and sandwiched by big burger buns similar to a freshly baked pandesal. The meal also includes their famous big cut fries and a soft drink of your choice. Also, you can't go wrong with their Jalapeño burger; their famous beef patty kicked with the spiciness of jalapeño, salsa, lettuce and cheese. If you love pasta, don't miss out on their awesome pesto spaghetti.

The tin buckets where they put the fried sides aren't lined with paper so you get a soggy oil slick at the bottom. Taste wise it's alright, more like a seasoned sausage patty with a sear to hold in the juices. The brioche bun can be explained like... Take the dense, buttery bottom of 2 ensaymadas. Slap them together and that's your bun. Seating is really jam packed that they should consider to lessen the seats. Diners would get elbowed by servers or guests during peak hours.

Unfolding it in my seat gives me joy from the trapped heat inside which makes the bread softer, sopping up all the tomato sauce and keeping the well-seasoned meatballs juicy inside. Onion rings are a nice add on to your meal, nice and crunchy fried at the right temperature. They're on the thicker side so it doesn't get to soggy in the inside. Just so happens we had time to kill one afternoon and sat down at Elbert's to try other items on their menu, the house burger and chili dog which were forgettable. Both had huge buns encasing the meat. The chili on top probably came from a can and topped with about 5 1x1 cm squares of cheese... Lesson learned and sticking with the hits next time!

The prices are not bad considering Commercenter's line-up for higher than average. The place is dim- black walls make it a lot darker. Poor ventilation, I could smell damp rags upon entering. We got a wood fired NY strip steak ordered medium and a single cheeseburger in a brioche bun. The steak came out rare- with gummy center. This came together with... Pandesal? Probably the only decent thing they served. We asked them to serve us the plate medium and they most likely reheated it in the same dish. The crowd eventually lessened as several minutes went by but there were still a lot of customers. FOOD We tried the 3PC Chicken Tenders and the 1PC Chicken and both had different textures especially on the coating. Tenders were typically good but the Bold BBQ dip was the star flavor in this combo; tasted really good! 1PC had tender white meat and a really thick coating, which tasted good but made the chicken actually look smaller. Biscuit was just as good as before and still somewhat plain, which I totally appreciate. At first, I thought the flavor was infused into the biscuit but turns out you put it in like you would with butter. Our flavor was honey but the experience of placing it in the biscuit was more interesting than the actual flavor. Spaghetti had a sweet and subtly unique taste. Fries had a nice and crispy texture. Among our orders, I still think only about those good and plain biscuits. SERVICE We had to wait quite awhile because there were lots of customers, and one number was called several times sometime before ours. The customer of that number never came and I was able to eventually get our order. I'd like to suggest that they use a TV screen (unless they have one upstairs already) or a pager to call out the number especially for customers upstairs.
