Whenever I'm home, I always try to have a meal here...Chinese food with the Filipino twist to it. And I always make it a point to buy Pancit Canton...a good old favorite that used to be reserved for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and graduations. I just love the style of cooking...with the noodles not overdone but basting in a sauce that lacks explanation (you just have to try it).
Like most Philippine restaurants, there's always a group meal on the menu that tends to save you money...instead of buying the dish in single orders. We ordered a group menu item that was good for 5 to 6 persons...and we did have leftovers to take home after dining! The servings are sufficient to fill the corners of a hungry tummy!
This is Chinese food I grew up with...and I'm sure they'll be around when my children and their children's children visit the Philippines! My daughter is already a fan! read more
