Not that bagel-and-cereal situation we usually get over at the in-laws' den. Pulled this place up on my Yelp app and it just kind of called to me... something about The Egg Station and the railroader in me gave me a good feeling. Like it was sending a signal to a wandering cryptid in need of coffee and meat. It's a cozy little spot... reminded me of those roadside diners I used to hide out in back in the day. It was close to noon, but luckily they do breakfast all day... which speaks to my kind of schedule. We assumed you paid up front, but turns out your waitress handles everything at your table and carries it over to the counter. Not a problem, just a twist in the trail we weren't expecting.
