I have come to this location less and less over the course of a year as I'm always finding hair in my food or the employees at the window always have an attitude with the customer. Today was my first day trying the nostalgic snack wrap and as soon as I bit into it there was a long blondish grey hair in it. Worse McDonalds I've ever been too! I've lived from CA to N.C and this by far was the worse! The blonde Mgr. Was nice however, when you tell the short brunette at the window there is zero sugar in the sweet tea & she says nothing and shuts the window & walks away that alone puts you in one mindset. Mgr came and fixed the tea, then hands us the food from the brunette. As we drive off and begin to eat, ALL you taste is salt. Not a little bit, but fries and burgers were covered in it as if someone opened the lid and deliberately poured a half a lb. Of salt on everything. When we went back, all employees were sitting out the door out of back of a vehicle and when told everything tasted of salt and we think it was deliberately done, we were threatened with police! For what, bad horrible food! Horrible service, horrible people! The salt was so heavy so you know it was deliberate! I still taste salt. Other than the blonde Mgr who was very nice and trying her best, the other two employees, the one who said nothing and shut the window when she was told sweet tea wasn't sweet as she obviously walked over by food then disappeared as she was speaking about us then rolled her eyes with a hateful face sitting in back of vehicle as we pulled up, to the other light brown haired girl who threatened to call the cops after husband said the food was bombed in salt making it obvious it was deliberate.. cops for what, horrible food and service! I highly recommend going somewhere else to eat anything than this McDonalds. I've been in hospitality service for over 30yrs. Hold records & awards for customer service & know so many ppl and no, we never leave reviews or complain... but this place has to be the worse business with worse service than any place we've ever been! Husband is in Aireborne Hall of Fame museum for his service as a Reddevil with the 82nd Airborne & tonight was so bad we are telling everyone including our military sites so no one makes the mistake of eating at this place. As well as putting it on the military lemon list which prohibits any & all military from using a place of business due to service & service towards military. I now understand how some ppl in videos loose their minds & want to smack an employee because this place should be renamed slap-a-hoe-mcd's! I held my composure & self together as I kindly asked Mgr to just refund order because we didn't trust anyone to remake the order at all! Threatening customers for complaining about food with cops is why employees get thumped. Your horrible ppl skills and service should be put in the record books so future employees know what not to do. My 1st job was at a McDonalds in Cali & that owner would've fired the two employees on the spot! He would've been mortified if any of us spoke & treated customers as these two workers did us this evening. Because they clearly shouldn't be working with the public in any capacity what so ever! Again, worse customer service at worse McDonalds we've ever experienced. We will never be back & will make sure we tell everyone we know! It's a good thing i had phone recording it all as well so we can show our friends & family! Because clearly this so called McDonalds has no ambition to make money & better themselves what's so ever! I normally don't order from this specific McDonald's location due to ordering from there just 2-3 times beforehand and the orders being made wrong. Tonight however, I decided to send my hubby to get a small order thru the drive thru since the restaurants are closed from all the COVID precautions. My order was as simple as this: 2 Double Cheeseburgers no pickle, large fry and coke. I told him to make sure to ask for everything made fresh. I always do that at fast food places because sometimes the fries are cold or too salty. He told him he made sure to ask gets back home and the fries are half full in the bag (even though we paid the upgrade cost) then when I take the food all out, I notice the fries are burnt, hard as a rock, and dark brown color. Then I go to check the burgers they seem to be made okay so I call the store talk to manager explain the reason for my call and that the order was made wrong. She says you can come back I'll make sure the fries are made fresh so my husband walks back there has to stand outside of the drive thru window he tells her instead of just the fries my wife wants the whole order made fresh again. She opens the bag and food then tells him well not to be rude but I didn't think the food would be eaten. I took only one small bite from one of the burgers because I was going to just have the fries replaced but guess what?!?! Yep the burger was cold as hell so that's why I asked him to just get everything replaced. Anyway fast forward to the order being made "fresh" and him bringing the order home so I can finally eat. I open the bag and yes the large fry is in bag but the fries are even more burnt and hard as a rock so I then call again speak to same manager she blames it on the dirty oil in the fryer so my reply was I understand if it needs to be changed but that wouldn't be the cause as to why their burnt and nothing is warm from meal being made cook to order and fresh. I will be calling corporate tomorrow specifically on this location. Idk why it is but we never have problems at any other McDonald's location. It is only this one here in Mount Carmel and it's beyond horrible. No matter if fast food restaurant pizza place or sit down restaurant customers pay money from their own pockets and want food made right. Plus+ the managers attitude was unsatisfying and moreso unprofessional. I was never rude, I mentioned I understand if things are made wrong but, I also wanted to inform the store of the errors with the order. Needless to say, both the store manager and corporate will be called tomorrow. And hopefully no other customers experience as much as I did tonight. read more

This is the worst McDonalds ever. Corporate office needs to help them. Owners can't do this, managers can't do this. They have big big problems ! They used to be packed all the time with customers, it has gone down the tubes. New owners took it over plus another McDonalds in another town 13 miles away. Help has quit & cant get enough back.
