When you go up to order at the counter they give you a number and you take a seat at the counter or the long communal table. I like how the counter weaves through the restaurant rather than being a straight line. The ambiance here is simple, but pleasant. The service at the counter is very quick and you help yourself to fountain drinks I've had several of the burgers here but today I chose their Little Italy Burger, which was a special for the season. My wife ordered the Bobby's Veggie burger. The Little Italy was delicious. It has a spicy tomato sauce on it and Parmesan cheese. Almost reminded me of a meatball grinder. I will note that I order my burgers here medium rare, but they always come out a little closer to rare. Order it medium if you want it closer to medium rare, I think. The veggie burger is really good. It's made up of quinoa and bbq'd mushrooms. We also got fries, which are always perfect here and I love their sauce. Overall, always a great deal here at Mohegan!

The steak was as tender as I've had in any steakhouse. The seasoning was perfect. Dinner was topped off with their churros, which come filled and with ice cream. They were super. I had the flan which was among the best I've ever had. The chef came by and we had a very enjoyable talk with him. The icing on the cake was our waitress Jillian. She was so friendly and helpful. When someone else went to the bathroom, they saw the men's bathroom was also out of soap. This is unacceptable! We mentioned it to staff but they didn't seem to do anything with that. One kind member of staff had some extra soap and let us use it, which helped a lot. But still, not something that should happen. And both bathrooms being out makes me feel like this wasn't a last second issue. The food was good, I enjoyed my shepards pie. The chicken pot pie looked and tasted great, it was definitely a hit!
