When we asked about it, she said that ringing it that way would save us money. But by our math it added $1.30. So I asked her to run it again without the combo. She came up with the same wrong total. Then a person I assume was a manager came up: green and purple hair, piercings all over. She started to ring it with a combo and I said, "No combo. Two burgers and a large fry." She said nothing. Rang it, opened the cash drawer, gave me change back, AND NEVER SAID A WORD! I was going to order frozen custards when we left, but that changed my mind. Too bad - great food. Lousy customer service.

I eat mine plain but they have quite the selection of burgers and fries/ring options. The drinks are in a fridge with normal selection of sodas and teas along with bottled water. I wish there was a little shade over the tables but nonetheless it was a pleasant day so no worries. My pager went off and I got my food freshly made and hot. The fries were good. They had a little batter to them and they were good portion size. The burger, however was a little disappointing. It seemed to be a patty premade almost frozen style. Definitely the highlight of the food we ordered Brisket 2.5/5: we ordered a pound, portion was good size, but overall it was pretty dry. With enough bbq sauce it was passable. Ribs 1/5: weakest point of the food. Dry, almost tasteless, chewy. Not sure if we just caught them at the end of the day because we went for dinner but the meats seemed old/dry. The ribs and brisket arrived maybe 5 minutes or less after we ordered it, which begs the question if it's freshness and quality which showed in the product taste. The catfish on the other hand took 10-15 minutes and came out hot and was clearly freshly fried , and again this translated to its quality. Service: the servers were fine. Polite, welcoming, helpful. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Earlier in the trip we visited gettin basted and it's clear why they won awards for their bbq. On top of that, the experience was much more welcoming and warm.
