WORST McDONALD'S EXPERIENCE EVER. This was my second time here, thinking maybe the service would be better than the last time -- but NO. It was somehow worse. I ordered a 6-piece chicken nugget Happy Meal, a $5 McChicken meal, and a 10-piece chicken nugget meal. Everything seemed fine at first... until 30 minutes passed and I was still waiting. I went up to the counter and asked about my order, and guess who was there? The same short lady with a black ponytail from last time -- completely clueless and clearly in the wrong position. She's supposed to be managing the orders, but she has no idea what she's doing. I asked where my order was, and instead of checking the system or asking for the number like any normal employee would, she said, "Can you show me what you ordered so I can make it?" EXCUSE ME? I told her, "Aren't you the one who works here? You're supposed to check my order number and get it done!" She turned around and completely ignored me. I gave her five more minutes, but while I waited, the manager finally showed up -- and you could tell even she knew how terrible her staff was. She started calling out the blonde Cuban lady working the cashier, who also looked like she had no idea where she was or what she was doing. I explained my situation to the manager, and she had to call over the same lady with the black ponytail to complete my order -- which was a JOKE. I kid you not, this woman took 10 minutes just to grab a bottle of Dasani water and place it on the tray. Meanwhile, five other people were also waiting for their food. The manager eventually had to finish my order herself. When I finally got the tray, guess what? The Happy Meal was missing. Unbelievable. I told the manager again, and she told the same ponytailed woman to fix it. The woman looked pissed off -- as if it was my fault she's moving like a snail -- and started putting together the Happy Meal, only for someone else to finish it for her because she was that slow. Then she grabs the Happy Meal box, drops it on the floor, picks it back up, and throws the chicken nuggets, fries, and apples into it -- doesn't even bother closing the box or apologizing. Absolutely disgusting behavior. I almost missed my doctor's appointment because of how long this took. This location is a mess -- no service, no communication, and clearly no staff training. DO NOT GO TO THIS MCDONALD'S. It has disappointed me not once, but TWICE. And just when I thought I was done, as I was leaving, the blonde Cuban cashier, the one who got called out by the manager earlier, nearly ran me over rushing to her car. I worked a half day last week and drove from Fort Lauderdale to South Miami to see my podiatrist. I don't need to tell you that I was starving and in a bit of a time crunch. It was in this that my mind thought of this place. I passed by and found the layout of this location confusing. Seriously, this may be one that you're better off looking around rather than relying on the GPS. The route I was given was convoluted. That said, the drive-thru wrapped around and it seemed never-ending. I figured that going on would be quicker, but it was just as terrible. I was surprised to see that they are modern though. They have kiosks. Still, it was much quicker to order with the cashier. The cashier was friendly despite the crazy amount of people during rush hour. Ordered a chicken nuggets and French fries meal. Ended up waiting maybe ten or fifteen minutes? I was about to go up and see what was going on, and well, in that I got my food. This was surprisingly the best meal in recent McDonalds history. Now I don't know if it was because the food was just made or I was hangry, but I was pleasantly surprised. Those chicken nuggets and French fries were life. I had to unfortunately purchase McD's after my church promised pizza during their growth track and didn't deliver :( I did the drive through and got nuggets fries and a hot fudge sundae. I don't know if it's the change of taste buds post COVID but everything tasted off! The ketchup, the bbq sauce and even the fries. Although you can get free re-fills on coffee - good - the second day the girl who I asked for it from brought me a cold coffee. I told her I wanted a hot one and she told me that she'd brought me a hot one 20 minutes before. I told her that didn't happen and of course was ready to get into it. She brought me a hot coffee. I recommend not going here if your hungry. The drive thru lines are always long and start from the Main Street. They never pick up the phone. After ten pm the drive thru line starts from the intersection before the traffic light and won't move. The service there is horrible, as soon as you reach the speaker they tell you that they ran out of food or won't take orders or cards. The manager there doesn't care if you complain to them. I ordered 5 cheeseburgers and ate them all back to back if you told me that I ate the same burger 5 times I would have to believe you. The fries are genetically, chemically and spiritually engineered to taste so bland but at the same time be so unique. How is it that I have soft fries, very crispy fries and little pieces of fry shrapnel all in the same red sleeve? But enough about McDonalds as a company. What about this location? We have Spanish speakers as the cashier and drive through attendants. The store remains clean after it was remodeled to look oddly like the PAMM. And the service remains quick unless you come at the worst possible time (when is that time? Hell if I know, but you'll know when they miss your order). Look I don't think you should drop everything and come here. Its after a McDonalds, a clean one at that with nice staff but that will deteriorate over time till they remodel it again. Very bad costumer service by who I assume was the manager. It was around 11:40pm June 12th. I was picking up an Uber Eats order and I entered the restaurant as I was instructed by the Uber eats app and I was told that the indoor area was closed. I told him that I was there to pick up an order and he said "well you're not getting it in here." So I walk outside, waited about 30-40 minutes and once it was my turn to pick up the order he told me the order was stolen! I was very confused and I repeated the number in case he misheard. When I catch myself amidst endless errands and an appetite starts up, it's convenient to have a quick fast food spot to pull into and grab a bite. I've come here a few times and am pretty familiar with the location. I do wish their fries were fresher more often. McDonald's has one of the best fast food fries but only if served fresh. Being that it's located on a tricky corner, entering this place from the northern end of US1 can be challenging and congested during busier hours. They do have the pull ahead spots for mobile orders which can be useful. The inside has the touch screen ordering method which can either confuse some people or make orders less vulnerable to errors. Regardless of your ordering method, chances are there's going go be a line no matter what Ask for all your sauces before you drive off. read more
