Ever since I discovered $1 coffee and $1 soft drinks at McDonalds, I've become a bit of a regular to the chain in general. This particular location has a decent interior. The kids section - complete with a germ infested play area - is in a separate area from the adult seating area. The WiFi is pretty reliable. And they don't enforce the 30 minutes seating limit if you look like a normal person. I've sat here plenty of times, for an hour or 2, nursing a dollar Diet Coke, helping myself to unlimited refills, working on my laptop. And watched obnoxious loud teenagers get thrown out. I've yet dare to try the food. And it's self service beverage so near impossible for them screw up the order. read more

Yada G. and her team are amazing and truly tries their best to appease customers. We are frequent customers (bc of my sons semi-addiction to MCDs) and have witnessed one episode where local teens placed a stink bomb in the MCDs. Meanwhile, Yada and her staff continue to maintain professional and kept their calm with the kids. The community members were also a part of helping out in this situation, one even went above to help them spray down the establishment due to the stinky smell :) . I love the Maynard community members! They are also awesome! The owner is also an amazing person as well! When things don't go well, or the food is not expected, I have seen Yada and her team try their best to rectify the situation. Whether it is due to limited staffing and/or rush hour, Yada and her team does their best to ask if we require additional support. For a managerial team to go above and beyond, and show so much care to their community, I give the team a 5 stars! read more

Manager is beyond rude. Walked in, a lady was waiting for her order to be brought to her, she gets it and they forgot her coffee (or at least she thought they did!) and she kept saying excuse me over and over again and got no response. Eventually she goes to the side and shouts excuse me louder. They finally turn around, and she tells them she has a coffee cause she wasn't sure if it was being made or not. The manager gives her a nasty look, and with all attitude she goes "she's making it!" Then, I get my food and my food is cold af. Sat at the drive thru for about five minutes. Said "Hello, Knock, Knock" and no response. Drive up to pick up window and see the gang of teenagers goofing around. Guess they don't care about service. Went inside and was welcomed to a strong whif of bathroom smell (cleaning supplies on counter), and the floor was dirty. One of the teens says they couldn't clean for two hours - no wonder the place stinks. I order a hot chocolate (way over priced, might I add) and so did my wife. I mention about the drive thru and the place smelling and the girl just smiles and says I'm sorry. I had to drive like 30 minutes to get here but the family I was staying with said I HAD to try this McDonald's....ok an hour of total travel for that Big Mac....WORTH IT. I spoke with the guy in the back when I finished my large #1 combo with a hi-c and said you know I've had big Mac's across the country but the special sauce here was divine. He told me the process this McDonald's takes to ensure their special sauce is perfect Every time. They get their relish imported from Peru... ya ok Tim but it's just relish...well no. Since the flavor of the relish tends to over power the special sauce this one is more mild not to mention instead of onions they use shallots. Haha I even asked how much it would cost for 8oz of their sauce to take back home to my family.a+ does not fail. Perfect and worth the drive. Thank you. read more

This is by far the worst run McDonald's in the area. Time after time this location is a disapointment. It is the closest to my house but this is truly a bad reason to visit this location. The most recent visit which has prompted me to post this review is that I went in around 11 am to order an Egg McMuffin. I was told they were not serving breakfast. I asked them what happened to the "All day breakfast" McDonald's has. They told me the supervisor decided not to serve breakfast. If you do decide to visit this store take a look at your sandwich. It always looks like it was slapped together and is a big mess. This has not always been the case. Several years ago this location closed for quite some time for a major renovation. Since then it has not been the same. They lost all their good workers and what they are hiring now are people who really do not care. I am told that this location is owned by a family in my town and they are good people. When this location was criticized on a Facebook page devoted to town's people, locals said they should support this location and contact the owner as they were very responsive. This is just not the case. My recommendation is if you can visit another location rather than this one do so. The McDonald's in Hudson is very good. Better yet the one in Framingham is much better. read more

A spilled shake, a three-foot puddle, ignored by staff for the twenty minutes we were there and who knows how much longer? A group of five in their early teens swearing repeatedly, loudly enough for everyone in the restaurant too hear, neither eating nor drinking. At min wage the kids working there arent putting their heart and soul into your #1 meal. I would give zero stars if I could. I have taken my kids here a couple times. Hard buns seem to be the norm, I guess you are paying for low quality food here anyway... But the service is horrible, and the food nearly inedible. They must just mix in very stale buns because the ones we got were hard like cardboard. They were long, dark months, the time without the McDonald's. Desperate for delicious fast-foody goodness, we piled in the car to drive to Acton, or worse, to Wendy's. This in what should have been a glorious time, the time of McMonopoly and the return of the holy McRib. We should have been rejoicing in empty calories, not milling around at 11:55, unenthusiastic about our lunch options. Now the wait is over, and the McDonald's is back. The first day it was open (what, of course we had to be there!) was chaotic, not least because it was a school vacation week and Maynard kids always terrorize the McDonald's when school is out. They must have had 20 people working there, including management types taking careful notes on what was and wasn't working. My order got briefly lost and they handed me a coupon for a frappe before i even realized i might be dissatisfied. There was some trepidation with the new McDonald's, as to whether or not it'd change what was awesome about the old one. Not the cheesy seasonal decorations hung inexplicably upside-down from the acoustic tile ceilings, but the real effort to do things right that was evident in the food. In particular, the standard cheeseburgers and McDoubles and stuff are of exceptionally good quality. So damn tasty. The fries are uniformly fresh and the soda machines were always kept in good working order. After two visits to the new one, this is still the case. Here's hoping that they keep that up long after the only-in-Maynard (ugh!) eccentricities begin rubbing off on the shiny new building. read more

So it's a brand new building, lots of kinks to work out. Don't let your kids wash their hands at the womens sink, it was scalding hot and you can't control the temperature. No trash can in the ladies room either. I can appreciate the need to go green, but wipes shouldn't be flushed. A minor detail they forgot about that I am sure will correct itself once they realize it. It's a McDonalds, you eat here either for a childhood craving or a self-induced need to shorten your life span. We went there when corporate was trying to be helpful, but clearly talking down to the staff. That was abit disheartening. The menu is on the left side of the store, can't see it, so if you order to the right, you will have to jump out of line to read it. At anyrate, they took away the kids germ mutation play area, when they told the Moms in town that there would be one. Clearly they changed their mind and scrapped it. They have a big area with one table, and 4 puzzle/wall games for toddlers. The assumption is that this is where it was going to go. It's totally lame that they did away with this, but I am slightly happy about it. We shouldn't go there anyway. This will make our trips (for all health), more for the better! The entrance and exit are much better then before. It said online that this McDonald's was open until midnight. I've been sick for days and haven't had an appetite but suddenly I had a craving for McDonald's so we ordered on UberEats. It said "order received, working on it now..." for about an hour so we decided to just call the restaurant and ask if we can come pick it up. I called ten times and no answer so we got in the car and drove there. When we pulled up, the drive thru lights were still on but no one answered. It was closed. Either that or the employees are just doing crack inside the restaurant. We were LIVID. We had now waited an hour and a half. Why were we able to order on UberEats if it was closed? Furthermore, why did the hours say midnight if those weren't the hours??? Exasperated and hungry, we went to 7/11 to get some food there. We asked the man who worked there if he knew anything about that McDonald's and he said the SAME THING HAPPENED TO HIM!! It's now 12:15 (past the "closing time") and the app still says "we're working on your order"??? I will be calling UberEats tomorrow but like come on, McDonald's what the fuck!!! read more
