They won't give me my food. I've been standing in line for almost an hour ban this place now they keep ignoring me

My go-to McDonald's location. Staff is always friendly, food is always hot. Sometimes my fries aren't filled up all the way, buuuut that's my only complaint really. Kinda sucks that they started charging for the sauces too, but it seems like every location does that now. Also, I've only ever used the drive thru, so I can't comment on the interior of the restaurant. From the looks of it though, it looks nice. I see people dining in from time to time. read more

Will not fill sodas all the way anymore. claim it is their machine but if it is get that fixed! we are all paying almost double what we paid a year ago! freeburg and new Baden don't have these issues and always fill up the sodas! if you ask the manager to fill it he(or she?) says no!!!! read more

We had our grandkids with us and wanted to grab a snack at 7 pm on Saturday night, March 26, 2022 but doors were locked. There were people sitting at tables and a young girl came over to open the door and someone told her not to. Not sure what was going on...if the dining area is closed then post it on the door. It is impossible for me to feed babies in the car so we left with 2 upset kiddos. read more

I stop at this McDonald's all the time, driving between ESL and Southern IL. It's newly renovated, which is nice. But the service is only so-so. Last time I came, I drove through and ordered a latte. They said it'd be a 7-minute wait since they were cleaning the machine. So I sat in my car, and after 15 min, I was able to flag a worker to ask about the drink. He went in and shortly thereafter, they brought out my drink. Obviously, not a great experience. On the plus side, they gave me three free cookies for the wait, so I feel the need to be merciful with my rating. read more

Update: we won't be going back to this McDonald's, but this time because we have moved to Florida. Since 2017, service at this McDonald's has been excellent, as has the food. We have been visiting there for coffee or food for the past several years at least 3-5 times a week and could not be more pleased. Go visit this McDonald's -- it's the best in the area! read more

Sooooo I ordered a happy meal and a McRib to go... everything seemed good, opened up my happy meal for my boy. Had all I ordered and he was happy, therefore so was I. Went to open my McRib. Grabbed it and got a glob of bbq sauce on my fingers. Only to realize that when the lovely people of Mickey d's made my sandwich they forgot to put the bottom bun on my sandwich. They put the condiments on the very bottom of the container. I dont know how that even happens. But yeah that's definitely a first in my life. See pics for proof. I've used this location a dozen times and never have had a bad experience. The line usually moves quickly. Staff is always polite and friendly. Food order is always right. Coffee always tastes good. Look forward to returning. read more

My friend Julie and I always go to this McDonald's for coffee and fries. I have 2 younger siblings so McDonald's is like a go-to for my family. I personally think they have the best fries. Every time that I go, the service is impeccable! They are patient and kind. You can never really expect that about fast food places. I love this McDonald's and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a quick dinner to please the little ones. Coffee is amazing and if you want to pay for a small but want more coffee, ask for extra whip cream, you get a bigger cup for the price of a small. :) I look forward to coming back to my favorite restaurant. read more

Service was great, food was hot and as specially ordered. The dining room was clean as were the restrooms. We ordered the McRib which the second one was only one dollar. Great buy! This place is really hit or miss after living here almost three years now. You can get all the way home and have no sauce for nuggets or even open up your sandwich and find no meat??! But I've also had really friendly service and a nice trip or two a month as well. Nothing out of the ordinary, just make sure you check your order before you leave the line sadly. read more

This is hands down the best Mcdonalds you'll find in this area. 30 plus visits. only one mistake. food is almost always hot and it makes a world of difference when you aren't getting day old leftovers. People say this food doesn't taste good anymore but that's just not true. when done right its tasty. This store does it right. I wish they could export this to the rest of the locations in the nearby towns. Staff is always pleasant. read more

The standard here, even more so than other McDonalds, it to only take your order as a general guideline as to what you want. They aren't the ones who have to deal with a kid screaming because the place decided for them they wanted chicken nuggets (or nothing at all) instead of a cheeseburger. If you go here, check your order before leaving. read more

I never thought I'd be doing a review on a Mickey D's but this morning the place was beyond crazy. I decided to walk inside because the drive thru was a bit long. Once inside all I hear is yelling from behind the counter. I walk up to the counter, cashier said absolutely nothing. I asked how she was doing and all she did was shrug. I ordered my food and all I hear is the manager screaming at the other employees about not helping her or making drinks. Another customer sarcastically asked if I was getting screamed at. Leadership comes from the top I don't blame the other employees for looking miserable because the manager is the bad apple. Employment should be something that can be enjoyable but when the negativity comes from the top what else do employees do. read more

This McDonald's is more miss than hit. They do not change their grease enough which makes their filet-o-fish & nuggets not very appetizing. However tonight was even worse. My daughter ordered a Big Mac Meal no pickles. As she was driving away from the speaker she realized they had charged her for each individual item instead of a meal (a huge price difference) so when she got to the window she let them know. The employee seemed upset that she would even ask for it to be fixed. She said thank you & he just turned & walked away. After getting home with her food, her big mac had NO MEAT at all and extra pickles hidden under the cheese. This was an late evening order with only a couple employees & not busy at all. If this is how your employees act when they make a mistake you might want to explain to them how to handle such a situation in a more professional manner. I do not know if there was a manager on duty or not but perhaps having one that ensures professionalism might be an option. read more

I live fairly close and have been there a few times. The service is hit or miss. Depends on who is working I guess. Alot of the time you get slightly warm food, not hot, and anything besides a pop is always made so sweet that its undrinkable. When you get a caramel coffee and tell them a little less than what you would normally put in it still comes out disgustingly sweet. The biggest compliant is the inconsistent hours. I just drove there 15 minutes ago, waited at the drive through for 5 minutes, drove off. As I pass the windows I can see the employees kinda just staring at me. I get it but can't recommend for anyone to go within an hour of their closing time. Because unless you walk in they will ignore you and it just really awkward going inside after waiting at the drive thro.. read more

Since my last review not much has changed except the fact that they threw in some money to renovate. While this is not the worst McDonald's I've ever been to, I would say that it's definitely the second. Wrong orders, missing items, long waits are just a few things on the list. I mean waiting 30 mins for 2 double cheeseburgers is pretty insane. Why are my fries ALWAYS half filled and cold, like they've been sitting under the lamp all night. I don't want to have to come here but sadly sometimes when you get off work late or you're just starving ate at night with nothing to eat, this is the closest open thing. read more

It's McDonald's, so no expectations of high quality. I only go because my 6-year old likes Happy Meals. Why do I have to ask for ketchup and napkins in the drive-thru when my order contains fries? The fry container in my order never seems full. The service in the drive-thru is generally pretty fast. read more

On the second night I went so far as to pull up to the first window and honk my horn for at least a full second and was as a lady continued to do paperwork( I could see her writing).
