I've visited McDonald's on Queens Road a fair number of times now, it is in a useful location, just outside Manchester Fort, making it easy to stop in while shopping at the retail park, while also having its' own car park and drive-thru area, which is handy if you want to avoid having to go into the retail park altogether. The restaurant is over two floors, with both an elevator and stairs to get you up and down.
It's pretty much a typical McDonald's and offers what you'd expect, the food isn't going to win any prizes but is a reasonable quality compared to what you'd expect from a McDonald's.
The staff are generally friendly here, which is good to see, as many other McDonald's branches offer rushed and impersonal service, they also offer table service here meaning you can order at the kiosk (or using your phone) and the food will be brought to your table, they seem to get the food to your table rather quickly too, which given the size of the place is impressive.
PRO TIP: Do make sure they bring your whole order, as it is easy for them to forget items sometimes.
On my most recent visit, I ordered a Quarter Pounder with cheese, alongside medium fries, as I'm gluten-free, I ordered my food without a bun, I appreciate how they use the old packaging, as I find serving the bun-less burgers in a cardboard salad box, which is becoming more and more common now is a nightmare.
4* - A well-located McDonald's offering what you'd expect, and nothing more other than friendly staff. The opening times are also generous from 6 am to 11 pm. read more
