Oh boy. I'm not crazy about McDonald's - after raising two boys, I've been exposed to way too many Happy Meals to ever really want to go to McDonald's. Also, the fact that they are EVERYWHERE usually makes it my last choice anyway. If you can get McDonald's anytime, why even bother? But sometimes I crave some Chicken McNuggets, and their new oatmeal is actually quite good. This particular store recently remodeled, and looks pretty good. It's almost always clean, and the people are always very nice. My biggest piece of advice here, though, is for you drive-thru customers: ALWAYS, ALWAYS check your order before you leave. Don't worry about being rude by making the customers behind you in line wait. Check it. It's probably wrong. It's so much better to fix it before you leave the drive-thru window than to get home only to discover that you actually got the order for the guy behind you. read more

i came in the drive thru to get a fast dinner i don't live here so i was like oh a mcdonald's! but then we pull up to order and the first thing they say it that they will take my order so i say what i would like and they then say hold on and come back to say they are closing soon so there will be a wait i state that i am fine with waiting and they tell me my total and i get my drink with no straw and my food is wrong and they slammed the window in our faces with no time for me to even as for a straw. I came here expecting a bad experience based on other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The food came out fast and hot, the employee even told me the fry's just came out of the fryer. Overall a great McDonald's and if you come here you will have a good experience. read more

Why does it seems that most of the time their Latte machine is broken? Do the same people make their ice cream machines make the Latte machines. It seems like over 80% of the time you order they say sorry that machine is not working. The food is hit or miss with being hot and order being correct. This place needs a complete overhaul of their systems. The reason that they did not get a 1 star was at least the staff is friendly most of the time. It is with the drive to go to the McDonald's in Vonore to get an order correct and get what you want. read more

Just stopped by to pick up a quick lunch for my wife and I at the drive through. They gave us a small fry instead of the large one we ordered. I pointed it out and they brought a supervisor/manager to the window who only argued it. He claimed he only charged us for a small. We told him we were charged for the large and proved it with our receipt. Since we proved we were right and were owed the large fry, He got the large fry and said "I'll do it for you this time". Added to this the fries were horrible. Manager training is needed here. read more

I want to like this McDonald's because it's close to me but the truth it, they don't often get my order straight and that's after 5 years of going there. However, the people are always nice and since it was renovated in the last year or so, the inside is clean and comfortable. Wifi always seems to work and it's pretty fast and the large LCD television is a nice touch. The playland looks pretty new. All the kids and parents of young kids end up eating out there. This location is convenient if you're traveling on the 68 or 411. And it's nice having a McCafe in a small town. Of course I'll eat here often but I wish they would get my order straight more often. read more

McDonald's is a very well known fast food restaurant, so expect the usual downsides that come with a greasy burger joint. What makes this one so poor in my opinion, is the prices. This is apparently privately owned and the owner bumped up the prices and hasn't improved the quality of the food. You would be better driving the extra 5-10 minutes to the McDonald's in Vonore, where the service and food is better and the prices are the usual for most McDonald's. read more

So coming from experience as a WORKER here. Do not ever work here. Me and my boyfriend had got hired there and within 2 days they started harassing us. My boyfriend was on fries which is very hot and he was thirsty so I made him a drink he had set it down for me to throw away after I got done at the window. Well a manager named Audri had told him he wasn't allowed to have it there and he was fine he just "ok I'm hot I just needed a drink" she started getting attitude with him for no reason and told him to leave. She told me he quit but come to find out he didn't quit they forced him to clock out! Not even a week later i rang up a Sweet tea special request as a large water (that's how they do it in athens) Aduri ran back there all pissed saying I'm not supposed to do that when I DIDNT KNOW and I said sorry I didn't know that's fine. Well I was talking to my friend about what happened and Aduri had stormed back there again yelling at me saying I rolled my eyes at her. I DID NOT. She was literally more than 12 feet away from me even if I did she wouldn't have been able to see it, the point was that I didn't. I had closed the ice bucket (which is all metal and makes a loud sound when you close it) and she said I slammed it within the same day I got fired for it. I went through all this shit only making $8.00 just to get fired for a attitude I didn't have. read more

Convienient and fast, but order is usually not right, and the person taking order gets order on screen wrong.

We have been occasional customers at this McDonalds mostly for coffee drive through. On our last visit April 3rd just prior to 7 am the middle aged woman at the register waited on the gentleman in front of us whom she obviously knew. She took his order and money then proceeded to get his order, deliver it to the table he had gone to sit at, returned and entered his money into the register and delivered his change to his table. Looked like impressive service until she came back and ignored us to walk around the fryer and to the rear of the kitchen. When i asked if we could get waited on the other employee wandering aimlessly by the coffee pot because there were no drive through customers also ignored us. We left empty handed and will not return. read more

Stopped to get a coffee and Coke after a hike at Indian Boundary. Completely ignored by counter people, and the manager, even after requesting to place our order. Full five minutes to place order and get served. And we were only ones in restaurant. With other options in the area, this place will never see our faces again. read more

Was passing thru coming home from Florida to Maryville. Pulled into the drive thru. I was asked to wait a moment to take my order. I was answering my Mother in the car when the young lady said that she was sorry and can she take my order. Made me feel like she forgot about us. I repeated it twice, for her. Went to the window to pay and even then the young lady had to ask me three times about the way I wanted my Quarter Pounder. No Mustard and Pickles.I heard her say onto their mike a Double Cheesburger. I asked again that was for a Quarter Pounder. She replied yes. I should have known then to check before I left. I had just drove 11 hours and was so tired I opened the box as I got inot Maryville and low and behold it was a Double Cheesburger with ring onions and some kind of sauce. The burger was good but it wasn't what I wanted. I don't even know what was on it for it tasted like a couple of sauces on it. I even read the telephone number on the window. I checked my bill and it said Quarter Pounder with cheese. So now I thought their number would be on the reciept. Nope. I found the number and found this site and decided to leave a review. Just like the other review said nice looking place pleasanrt people but can't get an order correct. I will stop there again but before I leave I will check my order. I am not a frequent eater at these places but how much is a double cheeseburger compared to a Quarter Pounder with Cheese? I guess I will find out when I call the manager. Worst McD I have ever been to in almost 60 years (1957)! Poor and inaccurate service, not friendly, not clean, tables cleaned infrequently. Children allowed to walk through the dining area - barefooted - to and from the rest rooms. Overall - awful! read more

One of the worst McDonald's ever. Our order is never correct. Usually something is sold out or a machine is broken.

I stop at this McDonald's quite often since I pass it to go anywhere. It's nice and clean, but I have 3 complaints: First, they often get my order wrong at both the drive thru or the counter, Food is served often cold, and lastly they have lots of teens hanging out in and around and many are just punks and use foul language. They should be asked to quiet down or leave. That's what I tell them, but it's not my place. read more

Cold dead fries everytime i go to the drivethrough they didn't even fill the cup on my frozen strawberry lemonaid. i wont go back

I take my Granddaughter to the play land here. I must say that they lack in the cleaning department.The drink area is always a mess. The ice chutes could use a sanitary cleaning. if those are dirty I wonder what it looks like inside the ice bin. The play land the tables are always dirty and it looks like the tile floor has not been mopped in a while. The are where the kids play has inch of dust around the plat equipment. Does anybody vacuum the sponge flooring for the kids? Has anybody ever touched this it is moist and sticky. This place needs an outside eye to point these things out. Window ledges need to be cleaned and booths that have a rip 2ft long need to be repaired...Some one needs to look at this place read more
