Drink machines were dirty, the Cheerwine we ordered was flat and there was no ice in either of the two machines. The food was made with the same type of care the building was kept, with zero care for what we were being served or paying for. Fried foods were either over cooked (maybe even refried) or saturated with grease. I did end up throwing my plate away (we were on the road but would have went and gotten my money back if I was local)

At…read morethis location, to get good service is like flipping a coin and you best land on the right thing. I did a mobile app order for drive thru pickup. The line was in the road so of course I go inside to get it because of the line and the rain about to start. I didn't expect it to be ready because I had just placed it just a few minutes prior to my arriving. I'm telling the guy who I see with my ticket that I'm inside to get that order. The girl working the front trying to intervene and still wasn't helpful because he still ends up taking it to the drive thru and I had to tell him to go get it. The Indian dude was so slow. The girl pulled him off the register to finish taking an order from a couple who was ordering for everyone attending The Last Supper. I swear they were still ordering when I left. This particular place cannot handle a food rush and even tho its busy you still get cold food or warm food as mine was tonight. Warm!!! All Zaxbys locations charge different prices but I would rather pay more for better food.

So I had a tmobile bogo reward for Hook & Ladder subs that expired today so I was gonna get that but once I downloaded the app, Firehouse issued me a 50% off offer for first app order so I used that instead and got the sub of my choice which was the Club. When I arrived he was making my sub and everyone I encountered was so nice and friendly. The sub is huge and the ingredients so very fresh. The pickle spears are how I remember.....GOOD! I got extra this time. I love the sturdy cardboard containers for the subs. My only con is I didn't see any bacon on my sub so I still felt like it was a Hook & Ladder instead of a Club. I see the rating is low for this location and I'm sorry for the others who had bad experiences but I can't speak the same. I will definitely return.

I look in bag on the way home and there it is... ranch dressing. If you are out let me know so I can choose something else. I do not eat ranch. Same with Zebulon Rd location. They keep the pomegranate dressings for themselves I reckon or to prevent having to frequently reorder. I know salads may generally come with ranch but read the ticket for substituted items. Glad I had some dressing home. The salad was good. Had my dressing been right this would have been an excellent rating. 1 star cause you still won't get it all the way together. SMH!

I had to pull off some of the ingredients and soft shell as it was soggy. The same was for my soft beef taco--wet. The loaded nachos from the $3 cravings menu were good but lacked cheese/meat ratio to the mound of chips. I have learned not to pay for extra because you will NOT get it. It will be the same small amount so I make due. The strawberry refresca was free with the purchase of a chicken item. I should have gotten sweet tea. I would not order a refresca again. Not even the addition of the strawberry or passionfruit made it a tad bit sweet. I felt like I was drinking water. I pulled my gingerale out my bag. The crispy chicken bbq taco I highly recommend. The strip was a good size and I loved the fresh ingredients that accompanied it. It gives this review 4 stars.

They offered me a crunchy taco, very impolitely. I asked them if there was anything else they could make instead, and they told me no because substituting something else would cost too much and "throw off their counts." I had to tell them I wouldn't move until I received something else because I had already paid for my food, and they finally gave me something. Very embarrassing. I was waited on by a girl with cornrows who was working the register. I ordered chili and a burger. As I waited on my meal I tried to engage her with small conversation instead of us both standing there in silence. She just looked dumbfounded. She had an empty blank stare. Her facial expression was flat. Some questions about the menu items she couldn't answer. She could have been new. Her coworker would walk over and answer the questions and her coworker was far more animated and she smiled etc. But this girl.. wow she was awful. Why put someone who has less personality than a mannequin on the register? Her personality was as dry as the Sahara desert. In fact I've met tree stumps with more personality. So no.. I did not like my experience with her. She looked like she didn't want to be there and like she was very unhappy with her job or even having to work. From now on ill go through drive thru. But on a positive the restaurant has a much larger menu than what the drive thru ordering screen shows. They have pot roast dinners and sandwhiches, pork loin sandwhiches, chili and chicken noodle soup and a lot more items. I believe the restaurant is cutting itself short by not advertising these items on its outdoor ordering screen. The chili was fantastic. Thick, homemade, very flavorful. As always the burger was delicious.
