This is a pretty typical McDonald's food court location, very busy with fast service and nothing too special in terms of food quality or staff friendliness as a whole.
It is located on the upper level of Leeds White Rose, with a communal seating area shared by the other fast-food places located here, which include Subway, KFC and Spudulike.
I ordered the new BBQ Quarter Pounder with Cheese (without a bun), as part of a medium meal with medium fries and a Tropicana Orange Juice. The Pricing was quite reasonable at £5.79, which is cheaper than my local McDonald's back home in Manchester.
I was dissatisfied with the presentation of my burger, rather than using the white tray which McDonald's normally uses as standard for a burger without the bun, they squashed it down in a small cardboard box. This not only meant my burger was squashed, but it was much harder to eat and cut into, with the meat sticking to the cardboard.
The food quality also remained poor, the fries had no colour to them, and the burger tasted cheap and dry. I was also unable to add lettuce even as a paid extra, but this could have been down to technical issues with the My McDonald's app, which I used to place the order.
2* - Fast service and a little cheaper than other McDonald's locations, but with poor standards of food, I would not rush to return. read more
