Mcdonalds 4700 cedar st. Lansing has started enforcing their policy of asking customers to leave after 30 minutes. Now I have no problem with that policy but when you have to wait 10 minutes for someone to come to the counter to take your order. Then wait another 15 minutes for your order you only have 5 minutes to eat. If they would concentrate more on customers than taking pictures of the customers cars. Maybe we could get faster service. My advice don't go to McDonald's 4700 cedar st. They will ask you to leave after they take your money!!!! read more

Terrible McDonald's terrible terrible service I sat in line for 15 minutes waiting to order had to pull back around the building going the other drive-thru I get up to the thing to pay for it The lady tells me she couldn't hear me but yet no one even even asked me anything as I'm sitting there for 15 minutes line backed up to the road I pay for my food I get up to the window then they want to argue with me about my food I'm getting saying that I didn't pay for a large when I got a receipt clearly showing I just paid for a large had to show the lady my receipt and then argue with her about it to get my large cuz she said I wasn't charged for a large even though the receipt clearly showed I paid and was charged for a large this place is absolutely the bottom of the pits McDonald's in Lansing or anywhere near terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible customer service the worst you can get! read more

I've had repeated bad experiences at the McDonald's on Cedar Street in Lansing, MI. Most recently, I was served food that had a strong, chemical-like or perfumey taste, which made me sick. In the past, I was served a drink that tasted like it had alcohol in it. The staff is mean and ghetto and will fist-fight you if you complain about anything. This is a dangerous swamp. read more

This by far the slowest McDonalds you will ever go to. I would go to a different one but it's the closest to our house. Doesn't matter what time of the day it is and whether they are busy or not. Be ready to wait over 30 minutes for a normal order if they have more than 4-5 cars. I can't believe they can't figure it out and don't know how Corporate isn't all over this location to do better. My husband went to pick up supper and had to wait over 10 minutes pulled to the side. When he got home we discovered my Deluxe McCrispy sandwichesate actually the spicy version. I have ulcers so I can't eat spicy foods. They also managed to forget the fries so I didn't even have those to eat. My husband said the staff he dealt with had an attitude. With 3 McDonald's all approximately the same distance from our home, you can bet we won't be spending any money at this one again. read more

Took a half an hour to get 1 McChicken, 1 McDouble, and 2 small fries. After ordering and waiting to get to the first window, two cars left behind me. I was so annoyed, I paid over $11 for my purchase. When I FINALLY arrived to the second window, I was handed a McFlurry ‍. I told the worker what I ordered, he said nothing and walked away. Another worker approached and tried handing me the same McFlurry. I explained to him as the first, that I saw a couple cars leave and "I get the overwhelming feeling". The first worker came back and said I was overcharged for my meal from the first window worker, (as that guy didn't know what was going on either), I said I don't care, I just want some food (as I'm hear because I'm hungry). His attitude quickly felt uplifted, and got me my order (correctly). I feel these workers are miss-managed, understaffed, leading to way too much pressure to be put on a worker who has to sweat their butt off for too little. *Owner of the Cedar McDonalds... get your crap together! Learn how to be a trusting owner. Learn how to train managers. Learn this cycle, and you will create workers who enjoy their jobs! When visiting here we stopped here to get a snack of hot fries and apple pies. We went though the drive thru and placed our order. We got up and paid and had great service and hot food. Seems like the McDonald's all has great food and the lady was extremely nice. If I lived her I'd be hitting this establishment up all the time. The outside was very nice and clean!!! read more

So after a ridiculous ridiculous wait time with nearly no cars in the drive thru, 3. I was given the wrong order and when told they gave me the wrong order they told me I would have to drive back around and reorder. Even though I had already paid the correct price for my order. Employees are apparently too busy having fun goofing off to listen to an order and when you explain what you had ordered instead of apologizing they say well that not what they charged you for. I also watched an employee throw someone's, thankfully not our, food at the counter allowing it to spill out of the bag onto the counter. Instead of getting a new fry the other employee simply put the fries with his BARE HANDS back into the container and into the bag. Will NEVER go here again. read more

While taking orders, they were filled with attitude. Drinks were made very messily, it's like they dumped the whole bottle of chocolate into my coffee. While being very rushed can be a good thing in fast food, you shouldn't rush the customers off, practically throwing their order at them. This is probably one of the most average fast food establishments in town. The only outstanding or noteworthy service here was the drive through. Most folks grab their food and go- but if you take the time to sit down and do the survey on your receipt- your server won't be dissatisfied unless you give a "less than likely" rating. Slow service with no one even there. Waited 20 minutes for ten nugs. Workers were on their phones.

We had planned on having a quick lunch before heading to MEPS for our son to take his oath. I arranged to meet my husband at the Subway nearby. When I pulled up in the parking lot, a man who looked to be an employee was standing right in front door smoking a cigarette. He saw me pull in, looked at me, took a big drag then flicked it onto the ground & went inside. Needless to say I needed to find somewhere else fast. That's when I noticed the McDonald's up the road. Things obviously happen for a reason because it renewed my faith in McDonald's. It was a recently remodeled one so very clean (incl restrooms) and modern when you walked in, but what really made a great first impression was the friendliness of the employees. Every single person I made eye contact with or spoke to during our visit (5 of them I think) was extremely friendly and helpful. Our order came out perfect....they even held onto my husband's sandwich for me till he got there so it would be warm - and gave him fresh fries with it. If you're headed to MEPS for any reason at all and need a bite, I highly recommend this McDonald's. read more

I have never in my life been treated so rudely by a group of people working!! Every time I'm in store or through the drive my meal is in some way messed up and I revive horrible service. I just got off the phone with them trying to fix an order they got wrong a couple days ago, I was put on hold (the phone got sat down) and I could hear everything these people where staying. The short amount of time I stayed on the phone was to hear that I was a lying bitch (because I was never given a receipt) and I'm lucky if I don't have spit in my food. The entire staff is rude and come with rude comments, there isn't one time I've been here and they got my order right OR been treated with respect. I hope to god they don't really spit in people's food. But as for me ILL NEVER GO BACK!! I'm sad I had to give them even one star. People like them don't deserve the amount they are getting payed.
