I definitely would not recommend this location versus other locations. Not once but twice they have messed up my orders via DoorDash due to the Corona pandemic. The first time we ordered from here, we were ordering lunch. We got two Big Macs and I believe five Hot n Spicy McChickens for my boyfriend's lunches. None of the sandwiches had any lettuce and the McChickens were made with the middle piece of bread of a Big Mac. My Big Macs were made with very little ingredients at all. It was practically a dry burger with nothing on it. The next time we ordered from them, we ordered breakfast. We ordered a McGriddle. You know what I got? I only got the buns and that's it. This McDonald's is very beneath your average McDonald's. The customer service is not on par with most McDonald's and the workers do not seem to appreciate or enjoy their job. The drive-through always takes a lot longer than most McDonald's. And usually the staff at the windows do not even greet you or say much to you they just collect your money or hand you your food. The drive-through itself is not very clean the windows are dirty I don't even believe the presenting window actually works. The inside of this restaurant is OK it's actually pretty clean however the pop station is usually not clean. The bathrooms are OK they're usually pretty clean. The staff on the front counter is usually OK they don't seem to be as underappreciated as the drive-through staff. O'Reillys McDonald's has a lot of customer service work the food itself is OK generally it's hot and it's what you expect from McDonald's. read more

This just happened at approximately 1340 hours, 10 August 2020. I was at the 407 West Prospect Street McDonald's location in Jackson, Mi 49203. I ordered two Double Quarter Pounder w/Cheese sandwiches. Nothing else. Like the individual in front of me, I was made to pull up and wait. Keep in mind that there were only THREE vehicles, total, including myself. Now the individual in front of me is on a very limited (15 minute) break, as it turns out. Both his order and my order keep getting messed up. After about 10 minutes, we finally get our correct orders. Understandably, the guy on break is upset. That's where things took a turn just for the sheer insolent factor. I'm still sitting in the lot, double-checking my order. The guy is turning out of the parking lot. At that very moment, a white girl with long, straight dark hair and approximately 5'5 in height, comes charging out of the building, SCREAMING at him to never come back. I just sat where I was, completely dumbfounded. I have already informed corporate and the manager of that McDonald's concerning that little cur's behavior. Somehow, I highly doubt anything will be done. Regardless, I'm going back to Rally Burger and Steak-N-Shake. Their food is infinitely better and the staff are professional, clean, courteous, and COMPETENT. read more

Drive the extra 10 minutes into town to go to a different establishment. On November 22, around 6:55 PM I went through the drive thru. I had to repeat my order 4 times until it is was correct...1 meal plus a 10 piece nugget (not a meal) and a large Dr. Pepper. The board finally displayed the correct order and I was told the total. Drove to the first window and the girl was friendly. Paid, and went to the second window. Received one drink (the one for the meal) and then the window shut. After a few minutes I was asked to park and they would bring my order out. Fine, but I am still needing the large Dr. Pepper. The girl told me it was not on my order. The manager came over and was very rude. Demanded $2.12 if I wanted a Dr. Pepper. I said I already paid for it and she became snotty and said I did not. Of course I was never given a receipt..nothing new at this location, as well as usually never receiving straws, napkins, nugget sauce, or "thank you, please come again". Finally out of frustration I told her to forget the pop I just want the food. Get home, open the bag and the fries are only half full, the chicken on the sandwich is so dark I know the oil in the vat it was fried in is several days old, and the chocolate shake is chocolate on the bottom half and plain ice milk on the top half. I guess replacing the chocolate syrup would have been too much trouble. All in all I give 0 stars for customer service and 0 stars for food quality, but yelp insists on at least 1 star to leave a comment. Due to a lack of employees, the Prospect McDonalds is continuously slow in its service. This morning was no exception. However one of the employee's attitude was exceptionally bad. She was talking to another employee and said loud enough to be heard by everyone in the dining room waiting for their orders, "If she doesn't like it, tell her to cook it at home." Like ***90*** + % of the time , I didn't receive what I ordered. Either its wrong or not fresh or maybe has things missing ; it is due to FAST TRAINING, BECAUSE OF FAST TURNOVER OF CREWMEMBERS !!! IF McDonald's would just put an emphisis on planning ahead with availability schedules and future plan schedules (done at interview/ hire) , ALL these problems would disappear slowly but surely !!! (The time could be spent wisely, so as to reduce mi$takes on food, Mi$takes in service, etc, etc) THEN Spend a little more time training and educating !
