The service here seriously needs improvement. The manager gets upset when employees make mistakes instead of handling the situation calmly and professionally. If you're going to raise prices, the quality and service should match. Unfortunately, that's not the case here. It's no surprise this location only has two stars. My wife and I have frequented the drive thru at the Isanti MN location. On occasion they forget to double check the accuracy of the order. Today, we ordered 2) big breakfasts without pancakes. To our dismay after getting home we found they forgot the 2 hasbrowns and instead gave us 2 pancake syrups. When I called they asked if I wanted to drive back to get them and to hurry because they stopped serving breakfast in 10 minutes. When I said that I did not want to drive back and let what we had get cold. She offered to send us a gift certificate for 2 free hasbrowns. When I said that I wanted 2 free breakfasts instead, she again offered 2 free hasbrowns. I again asked for 2 free breakfasts, at that point she said she was done and hung up the phone. I believe we are done going back to this restaurant altogether. The order being shorted something has happened several times to us over the years. This McDonald's is one of the most disorganized and overpriced McDonald's. Two times I have been to this McDonalds after 11:30am and was told that they weren't serving anything but fries and shakes. Their plain cheeseburgers are $1.59 before tax. St. Francis, Princeton, Blaine, Andover and Elk River cheeseburgers are $1.00 before tax. This is due to the owners decision with the pricing, as I was told by corporate. Franchise owners have the right to charge whatever they want. This franchise owner doesn't deserve to sell a $1.59 cheeseburger, as they can't even sell what is on there menu, because they don't have it or can't make it, this is their excuse. I read more

This is a very clean and pleasant McDonalds connected to a gas station off the freeway. They carry all the latest things and promotions which is rare for a store of this size. Our food was made fresh, even the fries, and everything was as we ordered. I am definitely adding this to our list of approved freeway stops. read more
