Service has gone downhill the last year...they are hiring more and more people who are rude and cannot speak or understand English. I always do a mobile order so they don't mess up taking my order and today they had an issue with the orange juice. I asked for my drink and the young Hispanic man at the drive thru just shook his head at me. I asked for a manager hoping for a refund for the juice and he had the audacity to tell me that I didn't pay for orange juice. I am going to be completely honest with this review. This is, without exception, the worst fast food restaurant in Hudson, Wisconsin. It is also the worst McDonald's I have been to. I have waited to write this review in the hopes the service has improved, unfortunately it has not. Literally every single time I have arrived at the drive through before the other lane, they took the order of the other lane first. This could be understandable if it was the difference of a few seconds, but we are talking minimum 30 seconds. I recognize this does not sound like a long time, but wait 30 seconds and have the second person who just arrived have their order taken first. Like I said minimum as there were several times I was waiting their for a minute or two only to see the person who just pulled into the next lane have their order taken first. I need to also mention the several times, I was waiting to have my order taken for no less than 5 minutes only to leave as they never took my order. This aside, I will address the food quality; which is atrocious. The fries are never hot and more than a few times have the texture of only being recently being defrosted. DO NOT GO HERE. If you just have McDonald's you would be better served going to whatever the next closest location is or better yet go to another fast food location in Hudson. I am a regular customer at this location. There is a young hispanic male currently employed, who has been repeatedly disrespectful towards me during Curb-side pickup. He intentionally gives my Curb-Side orders to other vehicles, who will usually take the food and drive away. I am left waiting for food that is never coming. When I go speak to employees about my order, they behave as if the order has already been completed. At first I thought it was just a mistake, however this has happened so many times and more recently I have discovered it is intentional and targeted harassment. You have an employee that is harassing customers by intentionally mis-delivering Curb-side orders to incorrect vehicles. This is my home town McDonald's so here's my 2 cents as the local McDonald's expert. Location is on south side of I-94 at Exit #2. This place is open 24 hours. Not sure if there's enough room for semi rigs or enormous campers in the lot, (use your best judgment) but there may be a spot to park at the nearby gas station for the larger vehicles. I've always had acceptable meals here consistent with the standard of McDonald's locations everywhere. Bathrooms are fairly clean. There is no designated play area for kids as some locations possess. As another reviewer stated there is a convenient gas station immediately next door for a quick fill-up after your meal. There are several other fast food restaurants extremely close if McDonald's ain't your thing. I don't really know how many stars to give McDonald's. How about 4 stars because McDonald's is always there to satisfy our cravings for greasy burgers and deliciously hot & salty crisp fries. If your fries don't come hot... make'em give you fresh ones darn it!!! read more

I have never been so impressed with a McDonald's in my life. Not sure if this is a new thing for McDs or if it was just because it was Super Bowl weekend but the customer service was absolutely incredible. They brought the food out to our table where we were waiting with a number sign, the food was timely, the manager was courteous, and someone even asked to wipe down my table before I sat down. If I could I would give the experience I had here a zero rating. I pulled into the drive thru yesterday morning to try the new "MCGRIDDLES FRENCH TOAST" and when ordering because I don't eat pork and McDonald's stop selling steak but I order my McGriddles French Toast with no meat only egg and cheese. I notice the price $4.19 on screen was the same as if I would've gotten the bacon and sausage. I asked isn't the price suppose to be cheaper if I'm not getting the meet which is always is when I get the regular McGriddles with only egg and cheese. The drive thru worker said the price was the same either way so I asked for a Manager. When the Manager came on he stated that the price is the same but theres something he can do. So what he did was made every Alacarte which made the price even higher $4.79. Located right off I-94 at Exit 2 in Wisconsin just over the border from Minnesota, this McDonald's is a convenient place to stop on a road trip. The double drive through lanes handle traffic well and service is fast. The parking lot is connected to the neighboring Kwik Trip, but fill up your tank in Minnesota instead and save 5-10 cents a gallon. Not that anyone expects a quality food experience at McDonald's, but I had a really watery iced coffee and they were out of chocolate chip cookies, so my daughter had to settle for McDonald's Land cookies instead. read more

I frequent McDonalds because I like consistency; however, my hometown McDonalds lacks consistency. I'm a fan of the Filet-O-Fish, primarily because I love the steamed soft buns. At this location I'm lucky to get a steamed bun 3 out of 5 times. Without the steamed bun, it's just another fish sandwich that I can get anywhere. This Mcdonalds is located in Hudson, WI kind of next to Arby's and Greenmill. The only thing that I really like the place is for the food. Even though the Mcdonalds menus are all pretty much the same, I've never disliked an item at Mcdonalds. I do not go to this Mcdonalds very often but when I have gone there I've noticed that it is small. I feel like I am always trying to maneuver around chairs or people. But as I said in the last paragraph, the food is always great and the drive-thru has a decent setup. The floors are a grayish tile, not very eye catching. My favorite food would have to be the Mchicken with fries, it never gets old. read more

This new sit down style that corporate has implemented at this McDonald's is not working for them. It either needs to be better staffed or just taken out because this is a big travel location and quick trip access. The staff are great and friendly, but the sit down style has tripled or even quadrupled the time that is spent waiting for your food and makes the flow of work incredibly inefficient. This makes us not want to come back to this McDonald's because we are not going here for a 30 minute wait for food. I assume that many other people also feel this way and are generally not happy with there experience like my family wasn't. I give the employees 5 stars because they are doing there best in a less than ideal situation, but I give this review a 1 star because than hopefully corporate or the people who make the decision for this McDonald's will make a change for the better. Well i can not agree with the other posts except to say the food is on par with other McDonald's i've visited. I am a Hudson resident and visit almost daily for coffee and some times breakfeast or dinner. I can not tell you how many times i've had to be asked to pull out to the waiting area for food and even coffee. I know that at times things get busy but it's almost every time, and maybe i could excuse that but just for coffee? come on, can't you guys make more than a pot at a time? I've complained to there mangers and district managers to no avail. I like there coffee but it's almost not worth the hassel to get it. I guess starbucks or dunn brothers will be my new destination, too bad because it seems so easy a fix. Add another coffee maker! read more
