Seems there's some poor management at this location. We ordered pretty quickly in the drive through, paid and appeared to me the next ones in line for our food when told to pull forward as they were waiting on hash browns. As we waited and waited, we found there were at least 8 cars parked to the side also waiting. They brought a tray of food out twice and not ours, we still waited (we had paid already). Several people left the line behind us. Finally after a long wait we had ours brought to us. The burritos clearly sat under the warmer w the ends hardened and the hashbrowns, tho hot, weren't like they just came out. An awful long wait for that. Should just be candid and tell people they're running behind so we could make the choice. That'll be the last time we go there. The shift leader was very loud and very vocally barked commands and berated the other staff. It was uncomfortable to sit in the unit and eat. Monday, 7/27 around 11 am. This was a horrible experience at Mcdonald's!! We came through the drive thru at about 10:30 p.m on our way home from the Tigers game and we ordered two meals LARGE! when we got to the window they handed us medium drinks. when we said we ordered large meals we were told by the manager that the large drink was not included in the large meal and it would be an additional 2.98 to get large drinks. I came to this location just after 11pm. I understand they're probably less staffed at night but this was to the point that I'm leaving a review. I had placed an order through the app for pickup in drive thru. I entered the drive thru line at 11:28. This particular McDonald's has two stations to order at for drive thru, there was one person going back and forth between one then the other back to the first one and so on taking orders. After sitting there for 6-7 minutes, someone finally came over the speaker to take my order (which I had put in through the app) they told me to pull forward. It then took 22 minutes for me to get to the window and actually get my food. 10 minutes is where I start to get annoyed, so 22 minutes later I'm very frustrated, I literally could've drove home, cooked my own order and then drove back to the Macdonald, but I didn't because I wanted the convenience of FAST food. If I'd have known it would've taken that long, I wouldn't not have come here and I would've gone home and cooked something better than a cheeseburger. Employees don't want to take orders at the counter and insist that you use the kiosk. The kiosk does not print a receipt so you don't have the order number nor an opportunity to answer the survey. When I asked the employee for my receipt it seemed like it was a really big deal for him to retrieve it. I asked him why no paper in the kiosk, he said that the paper jams all the time. At another location in Howell they tell me it's due to the fact that the machine goes through paper so fast. Either they need new machines or they need to train the employees how to service them. This place sucks! First of all, they make you use the kiosk because everyone is too lazy to take your order. Secondly, i ordered two sides of ranch and when the employee gave me my food she looked and me and said they charge for ranch so either i have to pay for it or i don't get it. We had the most wonderful experience at this location. Best McDonalds to DATE. We had a very complex and extensive order (extra pithat was handled with ease. Here is a list of everything done well: 1) ice cream machine was in fact working 2) got the order correct 3) food was hot 4) friendly staff 5) extra sauce Overall, I would say our experience was shockingly great due to the fact that many McDonalds locations have failed us in the past. This is the worst Mcdonald's i've ever been to. They're incredibly slow. The line goes at a snails pace at every time of the day every single day. I just called the store to get a refund because my bagel sandwich was made incorrectly and was burned!! The lady that answered the phone was incredibly rude to me and didn't apologize at all. No doubt in my mind that this is the worst place to go for food. The customer service was the worst I've ever seen in a fast food restaurant. We asked to do two separate orders and they acted like it was the end of the world and immediately started to give us attitude. Then, when we pull up to the first window the lady was unbelievably disrespectful whilst making snarky comments. At the next window the person basically threw our bags at us when we didn't even say a word. They put no ice in our drinks we were short two nuggets and they didn't even give us our fries. Went to Tanger Outlet store and stopped for a quick bite at McDonald's. It's located at the gas station. Not going to one in eons I needed to look over the menu. Wow there are so many items. Ordered a Big Mac. They now come in three sizes. Another decision needs to be made. My husband ordered a quarter pounder. Both were quickly served and hot. The cashier was friendly, patient and smiling. Sitting area was clean with staff coming out every so often to wipe tables. Nice place. I would go back if I needed a fix read more

I worked there on and off over the last 4 years. Initially I enjoyed working there. However over the last 3 years I noticed a change in the negative direction. That is when I noticed the rotting of decay of the place has officially begun. The managers and superiors say they care about us employees, but really they are doing whatever they can to save their own skin and doing what's only best for them. I was told i was one of their best crew, but i treated like a slave, overworked and under appreciated. Its was like, "do you wanna bring out the shackles and whips while you are at it."Before I quit, I saw the negative environment everywhere. there was literally a bite taken out of my 10 piece chicken nugget, i dont know what else it would be, this is very disappointing to me because i expected better, i also got a big mac with extra mac sauce (which i have done previously) and there was just way way too much, i couldnt even taste the burger just the mac sauce, it fell apart in my hands and the buns were soggy, also there was only 1 burger on my big mac when i believe there is supposed to be two. i have no picture of the big mac mess but the chicken nuggets made me nervous. read more

I can honestly say that I have not been to a Mcdonalds (anywhere) since my experience there in January of 2020. My family arrived at exactly 10:58 am and some wanted breakfast and some wanted lunch. Went in to order and was told that they could not take our order because they don't serve a basic hamburger until after 11:00... I had submitted a reference on the main McDonalds web site and they said a rep from the actual location would be in touch.... No response.... The corporate people had reached out and asked if I had been contacted and I told them No..... That is the last I had heard from them.... I have since not been to a McDonalds any where since.... Being in the service industry I typically would go through at least 4 time a week.... I have since taken all of my business to Arbys, Wendys or burger King.... I will repost if there is a response this year or I will update next year with a no response. I guess that my $ 1000. + a year in spending is not enough for them to care about losing my business.....I ask that everyone that has had poor service or rude customer service from McDonalds to stop supporting them. They should take a look at what Chick Fil A does on the customer service level and we should expect that from McDonalds also. Just because they are on every corner does not mean that they get to treat their customers as a cheap quick pawn. This mcdonalds is always disgusting. Every time I'm here I tell myself I won't go back. We just placed an order which was not only wrong but we also had to wait forever to get it. While waiting one employee was apparently cleaning somewhere and decided to show off how disgusting the brush he was using had become. Took forever which is fine if they are very busy, this McDonald's however appeared to be understaffed. When I received my food I told the girl my order was to go, her reaction was "why didn't say to go!!!" (The screen said "bag"). I was like, it's cool just give me a bag.
