But let me assure you, as a Chinese American who lives in NYC, that this is the real deal. So good that I had 2 bowls of noodles. (Also, the Spanish eat late. Their restaurants typically open for dinner service at 8:00, which is 2 hours past my usual dinner time, so I was starving. So yeah they have 5 hours in between serving lunch and dinner to pick up kids from school, go to the gym, do laundry etc. What a great idea!!)

The place was run by 1 person and he was super generous and efficient, accommodated my family's requests and made the food extra spicy to our liking The food was amazing and very authentic, if you want xian food this is the place and also 2 out of the 9 menu options were vegetarian which was super relieving for us to see on an international trip

We started with a dish of artichokes served with romanescu sauce, and also had a roasted potato topped with herbs. Three of us shared a delicious aged Finnish steak -- but note that the cooking levels are lower than you might expect - we asked for medium rare and medium, and the steak came what I would have called rare and medium rare. Still, very tasty, with flecks of fleur de sel to bring out the flavor. Nafisa had the grilled Argentine ribeye, and Abe had nice small Argentine sausages called criollitos. Croquettes with ground beef and with sausage were also good
