Their front counter has one cash register, which may not work well for customers that don't want to rely on self-ordering kiosks. I personally find the kiosks to be intuitive, and I put in my orders faster that way. Otherwise, if I wait for the cashier, it will take forever because this location doesn't have enough workers to have someone stay consistently at the front. Inside is well kept, even the bathroom surprisingly. It's just the clientele that looks shabby, but don't mind them. They're getting food just like you and I. As for food, I have no issues with my orders so far. I haven't gotten that stupid prank, where the food line intentionally doesn't put a patty in the burger, and hopefully never will. Overall, I highly recommend this McDonald's location as I'm a happy customer. read more

There are some places that we eat at where expectations are normally set pretty low. I've eaten at this location plenty of times and usually i have a pretty pleasant experience. Before I figured out that my burger was undercooked, I had already planned on writing a review about this location. Everything was fairly normal, Drive thru was moving steady and I have no complaints about the customer service so far. It was once i got home and started to eat my burger that i realized it was alittle to undercooked for comfort. I called the restaurant and they gave me a few options for a refund or to just have another one made. I opted to have a second burger made because it was late and i was still hungry and food options are pretty limited at this time of the day. The burger remake did not make up for the first burger. It was cooked all the way through this time, but the buns were soggy and there was an abundance of ketchup and mustard. Especially for a place that we all know use pre determined amount of condiments. This was not their best performance. i will update next time I visit. read more

One word ! WOW!!!!!! I eat at McDonalds at least once or twice a week. Usually grabbing a $1 drink as it's the best deal going! Today I decided to have their 2 for $5 deal and as it was high noon and in an extremely busy area of our city expected delays and mediocre food. Well shut my mouth! I got the most amazing drive thru service from one of the friendliest young ladies I have had the pleasure of meeting! She made full eye contact and even asked me if I was ready for the holidays. I could have chatted with her all day because she made me matter as a person and not her job! And to top it all off my food was waiting on me at the next window. Ok if this had a negative star section, that's what this Mcdonald's would receive. My family ordered FOUR hash browns and FOUR sausage egg McMuffins. After 15 minutes of being parked in the parking lot, we were greeted by our first employee bringing us a very small bag of only 1 sausage McMuffin. After telling the woman that that small bag did not contain our order, we waited ANOTHER 10 minutes until a different employee approached with another very small bag. This one contained three hash browns (two of them looking somewhat bitten) and one EGG AND HAM McMuffin. Not being a big fan of egg and ham breakfast sandwiches, I eventually had to walk up to the second window and speak to the woman. They gave me another bag (this time a bit larger) and although this woman was quite kind, the order was STILL wrong. Except this time they handed me FOUR egg and ham McMuffins. We could not wait any longer due to our 9:30 am boat ride. Because of our unfortunate specific schedule , we had no choice to eat the egg and ham McMuffins. And to top the whole experience off, they took our receipt! So after our lovely boat ride finishes, we will be unable to go back and receive our four sausage McMuffins. When I got home, I checked my food to find not a couple but almost ALL my nuggets looked like trash. My fries weren't even crispy. They were All soggy with grease this time I took pictures bc exactly what I thought would happen happened. I called 3 times at different parts of the day just to give benefit of the doubt that they were busy but each time it rang until it hit a fax machine dial tone. I called again this morning and a familiar sounding voice answered. I asked to speak to Brian and she replied "Brian's not here you can call his cell" confused I said "no I'm good. The manager comes up and I start to explain what's going on and this chick comes out of left field loud in front of the whole restaurant with "that's why I was trying to call you off to the side! Jan already said that if she Comes in here asking for a remake to tell her no cuz she don't never have a receipt and don't ever call" I said "excuse me?? I have NEVER gone in here before yesterday asking for a remake" she said "she was just in here the other day trying to get some free food!" i said "that was yesterday! and I didn't argue bc I didn't have my receipt! I bought my food and went about my way!" at this point the other customers in the restaurant are gathering watching and listening to the whole thing. She said "well how convenient your meal from yesterday is messed up too! Did you call huh??" I said "I called 3 Times yesterday and each time it went to dial ton and once today but got hung up on!" she responded "You're not getting free food! That's coming from our store manager Jan! She'll be here tomorrow if you have a problem with that. have a nice day! bye now!" I said "oh I'm not going anywhere. And I need your name" she said "oh sorry. I don't give name out" I said that was fine and I'd describe her instead. I wasn't leaving until I called corporate right there so I could give the most accurate description this woman through the rage I felt. At that point the manager decided would be a good time to step in and offered to replace my food to which I denied bc the situation escalated way farther than it needed to that point. I told the manager "I knew this would happen and that's why I made sure yo take pictures this time! you could have controlled your employee and handled the Situation civilly without her attitude involved. Now I'm seeing to it she's fired" the girl laughed and began yelling "call them go ahead! do it I'm so scared!" the manager said "please we don't want/need any trouble" I said "it's too late for all of that.you're going to allow one of your employees to come up here making a scene being rude and calling me a Liar to my face and to the entire restaurant making me look like a Begger or a thief? F*** her! She doesn't know me!" (note this the only time I disrespected her) she then starts to try and come over the counter and through both managers trying to get to me to fight me telling me that they better get me out of the store before she f***s me up. I stood right there continuing to call corporate while the young male manager physically had to push her down the fry line and pick her up and take her to the back saying "stop Candy (or Vandy) don't come up here" to the point where she scratched his finger so hard she broke skin on his knuckle. I finished my call with corporate and made sure describe her to her entirety as a middle aged light skinned woman wearing glasses with curly hair and twists across the front standing 5"2ish and works the front line bagging food. Never have I had someone go to the extent threaten and fight me at their place of work. Granted I cussed her, but I've seen way worse happen and people can control themselves. She obviously has class and sorry y'all have someone like that representing your store. As a manager I'd be ashamed and outraged. read more

Ordered a quarter pounder and when we got it it was raw in the center. We requested our money back and were told that they could not do that we ask for the manager and the lady who was wearing no name tag said it was her mama. We asked for a corporate number and she told us it was her Mama's cell phone. We asked for the raw Burger back and they refuse that as well, but they did offer to cook us a new one. We stopped at this McDonald's on the way in to Moncks Corner because we knew the one by Walmart was having construction done. We ordered an egg mcmuffin meal, another egg mcmuffin and a sausage mcgriddle. First, let me say the egg mcmuffin is my normal breakfast entree from McDonald's. This is the very first time I have taken a bite and wondered what was wrong with it. I inspected it before taking another bite ... and took a bite of the other one; both were horrible. I could not determine if the muffin itself was stale or if it was the hollandaise sauce, ham or egg; but it was not edible! This definitely has fixed my craving for a egg mcmuffin for quite awhile, it would have been better to throw the $12 in the trash, at least that way I would not have the nasty taste in my mouth! read more

Theirs no one to take your order anymore, after standing there alone for about 5 minutes a lady manager I asked could someone take my order, she replied we don't take orders anymore you have to put it in at one of the 4 kiosks located in the area where you used to be able to set and eat! What the! Little to say if your not computer literate or have standing, walking, seeing, issues DONT go inside! That's why the drive thru was so long @ lunch time and no one inside, my suggestion would be to lock all your doors and just be a drive thru only.
