Considering this Mickey D's is one of very few choices to stop for food and restrooms on the way to/from Rocky Point, we ended up stopping here twice over the long weekend. I'm not a fast food fan, and I'm especially not a huge fan of McDonald's but I do have to say that they make a mean ice cream cone! I had a coffee on our first stop, which was just fine (although they didn't have my preferred sweetener - the pink one). On the way back, I went with a classic crispy chicken sandwich and had a few of Jared's fries; both were pretty gross. For 55 cents though, I had a bag of apple slices, which was a not only a great deal but a healthy option too. Decent bathrooms and a changing station to boot, I was thankful for that (as was baby M). This is definitely not a destination but a decent road trip stop. Be prepared though, it gets very busy on holiday weekends! read more

Well, we were hungry and there aren't many choices in Gila Bend. This McDs was pretty disgusting. Not a clean table to be had and trash piled up on top of the trash bins. Really!? Lids were scarce as were the cups for ketchup. One ice machine was out of ice. But they were busy. I stopped by at 3 PM for coffee since I seem to recall a big advertisement some years ago about great coffee. It was very busy even though the information web page reported 'live' that it was not busy. The coffee was in that almost burnt state that tells you no one in their right mind buys coffee at this place and they can't don't have the self respect to throw out the leftover coffee that hasn't sold for a few hours. On a seemingly normal Wednesday night, I decided to take my dog on a joyful ride down the highway. And as most human - animal partnerships go, you always end up at McDonald's for a puppy ice cream. First of all, the architecture was stunningly gorg I stood by the register when this naked man came to the register and asked me to take my order. My wife and I went through the drive-through at this McDonald's on 11/1/2021. The order taker was friendly, but not accurate. We asked for an unsweetened iced tea but we got a sweetened tea. We asked for a chicken nugget meal, but we didn't get any chicken nuggets. I asked for a McChicken and they gave me the spicy chicken sandwich. Also, there is something wrong with their Coke, it doesn't taste right. The woman who gave us our food was pleasant, but not interested in correcting our order. The food here is the typical McDonald's fare. We came here with a fairly large group (about 10) in order to get a quick bite to eat before we head out on the road. The food was ready in a timely manner and tasted like any other McDonalds (extremely processed). Normally, I would give any McDonalds a 1 star review, but this one does make for a really clean rest stop. It's definitely a lot cleaner than one would expect it to be since it is so isolated. Clean bathrooms. BUT check your order before leaving. They are not very accurate with making sure you have all your food.

After arriving at the restaurant, we order after a rush and did not get our food for over 20 minutes. When mentioned to the workers, they did not apologize, but instead made excuses as to why the food was not cooked nor delivered. After confronted, employees talked bad about us, and we could see this clearly happening at the cash register from our table.
