We was out in Frankfort thought we give this place a try. I went with a 2A Quater cheese combo. The burger and fries were fresh but I think we blew away their drive through time we was sitting there for 15 minutes before we received our food. Super friendly Team!!! read more

One thing I love about McD is that you can get pancakes ("hotcakes") all day long - because they have breakfast all day long, duh! This branch has pretty quick service and my orders have been correct all the time. I am an exclusive drive through customer except maybe for the one time a few years back when I went in when they first introduced their wraps. It is nice to know that there's some place in Frankfort that's open on late nights and is not out of food. read more

I stopped here around 8:15 am while on my way to a meeting. Unfortunately their frappe machine was down, however the cashier recommended several alternate choices. I settled with a French Vanilla Latte. It was decent for what I needed, but would I get it again? No. The restaurant was clean, the food was hot and fresh, and the service was extremely friendly. The 2 McDonald's in Frankfort are owned by the same people. I know, it's McDonald's what do you expect right? Well the sad thing is there are only so many '24 hour' restaurants in Frankfort. So if you work at night you have very limited choices. They advertise they are open 24 hours, which they are NOT. This morning I went by and sat at the speaker for several minutes, no hours posted anywhere and all the lights are on. I pulled up to the window, same thing. Finally someone walked by and wouldn't even bother to come to the window. It's really freakin sad really. I try to avoid McDonalds as much as I can but sometimes it's the only option. So don't go expecting them to be 'Open 24 hours' because they are not. read more

I wish they would pay their workers more because it is such a fast paced job. Everytime I go it is always busy no matter what time it is. I have major respect for the employees for doing a thousand different jobs and only getting paid for one. I certainly couldn't keep up with it! Every once in a while they get my order wrong but if you just go back and show them they will usually give you extra food for free. I know, they should get it right the first time. I don't really care that their eggs are rubbery hockey pucks. I want my eggs with a side of plastic and cardboard! I can't be the only one that believes this isn't real food, right? They won't answer the phone for you about it half of the time either. It isn't high school students or during rushes that this happens, it's just always & it's full on adults messing it up. If I could do less than one star I would.... This morning I made an impromptu stop at this location and purchased 2 sausage burritos with hot sauce. Get to work and proceed to start eating one of them, at first I didn't think anything because I squeeze hot sauce for each bite but after a few bites I realized that this burrito doesn't look, taste or smell right. I then pick up the other burrito and open it up, it's the same way, they have a spoiled smell to them. I text my someone I know who works at this particular McD's because I know the manager and let's just say we don't communicate well. I tell her about it and she tells me sometimes some people don't pay attention to the dates and just make them. I asked her to text the manager for me and he replies to her with "there is nothing wrong with them". I wouldn't make this up and another lady in my office also smelled them and stated they smell spoiled. I'm at work and cannot leave to take them back at that point or I would in a heartbeat to prove him wrong. I didn't want anything in return but for the employees to be more diligent in paying attention to dates. And to also get an apology as I am a paying customer like anyone else. I proceed to go to McD's website and do a customer response because I wasn't satisfied with the response relayed to me. Within 10 minutes I get a not so nice response from the manager I didn't want to communicate with. I didn't realize that my email to corporate would cause harassment. Needless to say, I will not spend another dime of my $$ or another minute of my time at this location. I did receive a follow up call from the operations office from this particular organization regarding my email but I have not yet called them back. UPDATE: After speaking with Bob Waitkus with this particular organization, the owner/operator of this McD's store (Joe Graviss) will be sending me out a letter of apology. read more

This establishment has been going downhill for the last few months. Presumably there was a management change that is not working out in the slightest. I waited for 45 minutes to get my food one day on a mobile order. I continued to go into the store because I was tired of sitting in my car, the employee I spoke to said they didn't receive my order. I showed this employee my receipt on my phone, and she said she couldn't get my order. I payed for my order and they confirmed it when I went through the drive thru, so I know they saw my order. I never got my food. This is not the only interesting experience I've had at this establishment though. I have repeatedly heard complaints from other people that go to this McDonald's specifically. Orders are constantly wrong, employees are rude, and most of all, the restaurant is filthy. The workers are constantly shouting to each other in the restaurant as well, so when factoring all of the negative aspects of this store, I can say with 100% assurance that this is my least favorite McDonald's location that I have ever been to. read more

I went by there after a movie and ordered two plain triple cheeseburgers. When I got home there was only one in the bag, it was ice cold. When I called no one answered and to top it off there was no receipt in the bag. This is literally the worst establishment I have been to in Frankfort. If I could give them less stars I would. A typical McDonald's with the standard of food you'd expect from any McDonald's. I work 3rd shift and visit this one occasionally. This McDonald's at night however is very slow, waiting 15 minutes just to order isn't uncommon. Usually I'll see a few cars (sometimes me) pulling out of line rather than waiting. If you are in the area late at night and you're hungry and in a hurry it's much quicker to get some tacos. read more

I just in the past 60 minutes, used the McDonalds Mobile app to place a couple of small basic orders for pickup at the 102 Limestone Lane, Frankfort, KY location. The two small orders were very basic and used THEIR deals they advertise on their app. The first one was Buy one large sandwich (excluding the Dbl Qtr Pndr) and get one large sandwich free. The second order was purchase a medium or large fry and get any size drink free. I chose the large fry and large dr. pepper for the second order. All Sounds very simple and basic. No Special additions or minus anything from the sandwiches. I placed both orders and checked in for pick up at 12:07 pm The first order arrives at 12:19 pm (12 minutes later). I question about the second order and they state they did not have a record of the fry and drink. So I was asked like I was trying to rip them off, to see if I had the order on my app. I showed them, well in about another 5 minutes, they mosey out with the bag. I look inside at the ordered large fries and see the box was barely half full. So I got a medium fry in a large fry box. Oh and the bonus is, the fries were cold. The burgers were luke warm to cold and this all took from 12:07 pm to 12:24 pm. WHY USE THE APP IF THIS IS GOING TO BE SLOWER THAN THE 15 cars on each side drive thru. The drive thru was moving quicker. They prioritized the apps next to last and then LOST the second order, and treated me like I was trying to get a Freebie out of them, and then the FOOD WAS COLD. The only item out of both orders that was consumable was the large Dr. Pepper, which was supposed to be cold. So I got to have a liquid lunch (A Large $1 drink) that actually cost me almost 6 bucks. OH, and to further add insult to injury, NO RECEIPTS, so I cant do the survey either because I have NO STORE NUMBER and the App does not maintain an order history more than 3 minutes. What a Mess and Disaster this was. No Wonder McDonalds has COSISTENTLY DECLINED in STOCK PRICES over the last few years. They have gotten to big to function. Good Riddance McDonalds. I wish IN and Out Burger stores were available in KY. Don't use the APP and DONT Use this McDonalds at 102 Limestone Lane in Frankfort, KY. read more

Every time I stop there, I regret it and swear to not go back! But I am addicted to that damn coke! The food is most always cold, tastes re heated. I use to love the Fish sandwich it was the one thing that was always decent, even if you did have to reposition the sandwich because it was half on half off. But lately that too is awful, the bun always tastes stale and old! I have been served raw burger, I have been curbed for a COKE, I have had to drive back to the place because they left something out of the bag that I paid for. I know it 'fast food' but that's not an excuse to serve sub par food! Today I stopped right at 11:00, beginning of lunch, I think I'll get hot fries, hot food! WRONG! i dont appreciate the employee taking orders making me feel like i'v disturbed her day. it was a huge effort for her, apparently. this is not the first time i'v encountered her attitute on the order window. if you dont want to be there, stay home. i get to the pay window to be told to pay at the order pick up window. ok fine. my hot cappuccino was $3.07 and i hand the woman $20.07, to get $13.00 in change. I hand it back saying my order was $3.07 and i gave you a $20.07, you owe me $17 not $13....to which the blonde barked back 'I GOT IT!'. Really? i realized that look you shot me before handing it back was an acknowledgement that you new it was wrong, and was hoping i didnt notice. Wrong. the african american woman at that window, who was handing out orders, needs a tutorial in proper job dress. her pants were half-way down her butt, with her shirt pulled up above her waist. Half of her butt, and most all of her Calvin Klein's were showing. Do you need a belt? I'll be damned if i'm going to put up with a McD's shitty employee attitude, being handed wrong change back (and you knowing it) and to have someone's nasty butt in my face while i wait. not for a cup of coffee, and never again 12 minutes in the drivethru.
