Reviewing McDonalds in 2025 is like reviewing the popularity of water. That said, when a fast food restaurant is neither fast nor actually produces food, then it warrants a critique. Ordered two adult and two kids meals at the drive thru. No line, dining room didn't look overly busy. After paying, was told to pull into a designated spot. Once the episode of the podcast I was listening to ended, I realized I'd been waiting over 20 minutes. I waved at the person in the drive thru window. 3 minutes later, they brought out two incorrect adult meals and no kids meals. I showed the extremely annoyed employee the receipt, which resulted in a sigh that might have triggered the Richter Scale, and a housewives-reality-show quality pivot and turn. 10 minutes later, still nothing. I decided going inside was the best option. Friends - I have never been more wrong. I was - and there is no other word to describe this - lectured about how I should have stayed in my car. How they were slammed and I needed to be patient. The tumbleweed slowly rolling across the desolate space only sort of undercut this assistant managers screed. After my freshman 101 Econ lecture ended, I said I get it, no harm no foul, I'd just like a refund. Friends - I have never been more wrong...again. This human EXPLODED, saying (and I swear to god this is a direct quote) 'you're taking money out of the hands of my children.' Note - this person was maybe 21. Old enough to be parent, sure, but why do their children have or need money in their hands? At this point, we were nearly a full episode of The Last Of Us into this epic poem, and I decided the $20+ was a satisfactory fee for such a wonderful hour of entertainment. Not the best experience today at this McDonald's. After taking my youngest daughter to the park, we stopped by to get lunch. This time I ordered a new item, chicken tenders and she ordered her Happy meal, and as always cheeseburger plan. After an unexpected long wait, the food arrived. I ended up with a chicken sandwich. Not what I ordered. Also the cheeseburger plan was far from that, so I went up and ordered another one. Five minutes later we received the sandwich, a long wait with a total of 6 customer's in the lobby. We all have off days, and hopefully next time we will receive better service or we will not be back. read more

I really want to give this place a great score but I cannot. Especially after this morning's mobile order... it seems they get confused sometimes, however, they had my order and I went up to the first window, no greeting, no anything, just had her hand out the window with the receipt. So I took it and pulled forward, waited a few, then they handed me an overfilled bag with barely a word. OK no big deal, grab the hashbrowns ...barely warm. Then get home and the Sausage Egg McMuffin was terrible because the muffin was burned. It totally ruins the sandwich. This is not the first time this has happened, but never complained. Store # 11070, 8691 College Parkway, Ft. Myers, FL. 33913. 04/06/2023. Ticket# 1376. After placing my order and pulling up to the payment window, I determined one item was skipped. The lady at the window told me I owed an additional $6.00 for a $4.19 sausage, egg and biscuit sandwich. I questioned the price. She called another staff member to the window who corrected the ticket. Then the new staff person told me, "Pull up to the next window, you are holding up the line, BITCH!" I pulled up to the next window where she had proceeded to and continued to harangue me about "ordering breakfast after they had stopped serving breakfast" and criticizing me for my attitude. It was 10:33 AM. I don't know when they stop serving breakfast, it doesn't say on their website. I'm a 77 yr. old senior citizen with breathing issues, I can't waste a precious breath arguing with crazy people. read more

I have gone through the drive thru of this place and multiple times they have been slow but it never really bothered me to be honest but tonight really takes the cake. I pull up at 11:10 at night, not busy at all, only two cars ahead of me and three other cars on the next lane. When I finally pull up to order, I watch as five different cars that have gotten there after me get their orders taken. I said hello, asked for help, no response. When I watch the person behind me drive to the next lane and start getting their order taken I just assume "maybe the speaker broke, let me just go up the window." So I go up to the window and she tells me a total and I say "I didn't even get to order yet." I'm about to explain why and she just asks what I want so I just go cool, tell her I want the 2 for 3, McDouble and Hot and Spicy sandwich. She says "next time you have to wait cause it'll confuse the people up there." I start to say something, to you know explain why I didn't "wait" and she starts to walk off and while walking off she says "Next time I don't gotta take your order." I don't even want to bother asking for a manager because at this point, while waiting for my order to get taken and waiting in line it is now 11:30, so I take my meal and low and behold, it's two McDoubles. The chicken was fried so it added flavor much more than the rubbery grill type.The lettuce was fresh enough. I got this because someone paid for this item. Over all aok. Chit Chat. I found out the shake machine is computerize. No human thinking allowed. Just pick the size of the cup and get the shake by pushing a button. HOW? I asked for a black & white shake. What is that? It is a shake that is half chocolate and half vanilla. Or can be referred to as a salt and pepper shake. Those folks who are color blind and understand the slang of the 21st century and Those folks not being from a liberal or progressive state. would be unaware of this terminology . Those redneck state i.e.(MS,GA,LA,Fl) would not be enlighten and understand this expression. Anyway I got the vanilla shake. Right now the vanilla bean is much more expensive than the coco bean in the market place...LOL how retro... I must give props to all of the excellent workers. They have installed new kiosks which is a good idea I guess but no one could figure them out and were trying to order at the registers. You couldn't order at a register said the cashier who was going out of her mind trying to help people navigate the kiosks. People were unanimously pissed off and were simply leaving. There is a Wendy's across the street. Although I have never been there, I would recommend it over this McDonald's. read more

It's fucked up when I pull up thru drive thru. Ester takes it upon herself to persistently tell me i need a mask , wheres my mask repeatedly while I wait for my food. I'm in my car, I don't need a mask while in my car....most unprofessional employee I ever encountered. I visit this location alot living 1/4 mile away, 99 pct great service but Ester crossed the line of professionalism. Terrible people person. She needs to do her job and mind her own business. As McDonalds restaurants go this one is not clean. The tables are never wiped clean and there are obvious things behind the counter that are troubling. The food is average for a McDonalds except for the French fried. I have never seen so much salt on fries. Every time they empty a basket into the bin an employee dumps copious amounts of salt onto whatever is there. There clientele at this location is mostly the elderly. What's with this salt thing? If someone orders a cup of coffee would they add five packs of sugar? read more

Typical McDonald's. Actually, a little better than typical, since they (knock on wood) so far haven't managed to screw up my coffee orders like others have. No, I don't order anything special, they just don't give me the wrong thing. I do love the birds at the drive through (there were two of them the last time we went).
