The LOCATION MATTERS! When you order from McDonald's. You're not expecting a 5 star experience, honestly, not even a 3 star experience BUT this location is 5 STAR. I had Sidel assisting with my order today who when he realized I hadn't had a good day and the app was struggling to work properly, he promo'd my fries. Although it wasn't his fault that the app didn't work, he made sure my meal did. Also, the manager stopped by at the second window to collect my payment, he did let me know that they had a rush inside, which I did see nearly 30 children at the cashier. The manager helped me to understand that due to the rush they would have me wait for my food at the drive-through parking spot. Next I met, which I did not get his name, a black guy that brought me my food and then continued to say "thankyou for waiting, have a great night" even though I could tell they were very busy. It really is the little things that add up. And I'm glad this McDonald's is still running. Thank you McDonald's for having a good team! read more

The stars speak for itself. I didn't realize how bad this McDonald's was till I experienced it for myself. I had a limited amount of time on my lunch break and that's exactly what this location wasted. There were no cars at the drive through, however before ordering I was told to hold on a minute, after about three minutes another car arrived at the second drive up. The employee told the second car to hold on as well, after about a min they took his order instead of mine, I figured they didn't know I was there anymore, so I went inside. I waited for another 5 min before someone showed up to take my order. By the time I got out of there I had to eat while I drove back to work since they wasted all my time. As far as the food goes, the burger was not that hot and the cheese was cold. This was the first and last time I will ever go there. My last word of advice for all future patrons, trust the stars, avoid this McDonald's. read more

Very disrespectful staff. First guy at the pay window asked if I wanted cream or sugar in my coffee. I said no, Guy with blue eyes and blue gauges at second window and me coffee with cream, I asked if I was able to get a different one with no cream. He then said "why didn't you ask for that at the window". I said I did and he goes well it's not on my computer. I said I didn't think it was your fault. We went here today and had a great experience. Super friendly staff. Very polite! Smiling and happy to help. They made an extra ice cream cone and gave it to my son for free! it was super clean inside! Same consistent food you find at any McDonalds. When did McDonald's start serving burgers medium/medium rare? I brought it back to show them. I walked in and there is a couple having lunch inside and other customers came in after me. We are standing there waiting but no one at the counter, an employee sees me but makes no contact and does not notify anyone of us standing there waiting for service. After waiting the MOD finally walks out. I asked to speak with her in private so other customers dont hear our conversation. The MOD advised me McDonald's has high food safety standards and they temp the burgers and if it hits the correct temp then it's good. If this is correct then please explain why it's still pink in the middle??? The MOD stated she herself tempted the food for lunch service and said it could have just been an isolated event and she will check it again to ensure this does not happen again. Kind of late now if everyone that was served got food poisoning. I want to keep business in town but how can I do that when the food and service is not even mediocre. Local Farmington residents deserve better then this. Workers there need better leadership and quality control of there product. Perception means a lot, I say that to say this, there should not be garbage, and food littering the floor in your work area. This McDonald's continues to have complaints. It is known by the locals as a bad place to go with young workers who are rude, wrong orders and other complaints. People even resort to complaining on FaceBook about this place and nothing seems to change. It almost seems like they do not have managers or older, more responsible people working there. I avoid this McDonald's at all costs. If it was closer to town it would be much easier to just go to another fast food place, but Farmington is limited to fast food choices and none of them are very good. When going here it is a roll of the dice if your order will be correct. They must hand out a lot of free meals costing the owners money. I can't believe they do not see what is happening here. I live in Farmington and stop here on occasion ONLY cause its convenient, I guess they got me on that one, but they are lucky they have no competition or they would not survive. Went Yesterday on my way into work and arrived at the drive thru at 10:57am. I ordered 2 hamburgers and small fry, pretty simple right? I had 2 cars in front of me, and many more pulled in behind me. During the wait a couple cars left the line in a rage and sped around to leave. By the time I got to the food window it was 11:17, 20 minutes later! Im at the window another 2 minutes or so and the employee asks me to pull ahead and wait in the designated parking space. I responded "I ordered two burgers and a fry, I don't understand" Furthermore, they did not ask either of the other two cars who waited for a combined total of 20 minutes to pull forward, I could go on and on about this place, it's a joke and I feel bad for anyone that works there and has to deal with a steady stream of angry customers due to the managements incompetence. read more

I was happy when McDonald's decided to come to my town. But it seems like this particular location has trouble managing the lines... Especially in the drive-through. I like to bring my son for breakfast here before school once in a while... But it often takes us so long to get through the line that I can barely get him to school on time. You could say that maybe I am not allowing enough time but I think 20 minutes should be more than adequate to get through a drive-through. Perhaps my biggest pet peeve with this particular McDonald's is that when you order multiple drinks they always put the drinks in a drink carrier.. I find this quite wasteful. I always make a point of giving the carrier back because my car has more than enough drink holders for what we order. I would like to see the workers ask whether or not a carrier is needed before making the assumption. read more

When I arrived at the McDonalds on Knutson Drive at 8:40 PM there were orange cones in front of both drive-through lanes and a sign on the door saying they close at 8 PM because of a staffing shortage. I was down in Farmington with my wife, and she wanted some ice cream while we were down there. We thought we would stop and get some cones at McDonalds. When I went in there were other people already in the lobby. According to my Yelp check in, this was on the 8th. There was a manager with white and black hair who raced out from the kitchen with a cigarret in her hand like she was about to go on a smoke break. She came back out from another back area maybe 30 seconds later throwing keys and shaking and banging the fry baskets around. At this point I had been standing in the lobby with several other people for nearly 4 minutes. My wife had just come out of the bathroom, and not once had any of the employee's even looked over in our general direction. At this point we decided that we wanted nothing to do with this McDonalds and we walked out. As I was in the car making sure to check in on Yelp so that there was in fact a record of me there, the manager ran out to her car. I guess if the customers walk out of the store that free's up time for a smoke break? Never written a yelp review...until this place. I get these are high school kids for the most part. I just don't think it's possible to screw up 8 out of 8 orders without trying or still thinking it's 4/20. Repeated and "confirmed" order 4 times. Drinks were wrong...missing 3 out of 4 McGriddles! Surely they could get the big breakfast correct? Not these geniuses..missing the pancakes. The sausage egg n cheese biscuit became a sausage biscuit..missing the egg and the cheese! The iced coffee CAN'T get screwed up. These clowns figured out a way, wrong coffee. Went inside thinking we probably got the car behind us order it was so bad.. had a receipt, was told that's what we must have ordered. Surely it must have been all the "reconfirming" of the order that WE did...couldn't have been the high school girl who had us repeat the order 3 times because he kept screwing it up, then the money taker high school girl read us back the order...still wrong and we corrected her twice.
