The food there is well made and delicious albeit not particularly cheap (damn you Southport) and the staff there are friendly and will happily talk with you for hours about good Turkish footballers (believe me; it happens every week when we go). They also have a punching machine in there (perhaps to curb the violent enthusiasm of the Southport residents) which causes much hilarity at three in the morning when my mates decide to show each other who can hit something the hardest. The chips are far better than those from the place across the way, and they offer the usual fish n chip menu. If you prefer to eat in, there there are plenty of seats, and the staff are all very friendly. The prices seem reasonable although the cost has gone up in recent months. One thing to watch out for is the opening hours, we were in need of chips on a Wednesday evening but had to settle for an inferior brand!
