i went to the McDonald's in Absecon. The employees I was in contact with were extremely helpful. I used the ladies room and the young lady was cleaning the bathroom. I was very impressed cause she was doing a fantastic job. It was extremely clean, in fact, I would say it's the cleanest ladies room I have ever used and I've been to a lot of restaurants. I ordered a happy meal through the mobile app for curbside. I used my points but had to pay extra just for a piece of cheese plus tax. When I arrived, I was prompted to put in my spot number and I did. I sat in that spot for 15 minutes before they came out. The restaurant was empty so its not like they were busy. They brought out the happy meal and handed me the small soda. The side was only filled 3/4 of the way, Ice melted and the Happy meal box was cold. I opened it, and the food was cold too. I went in to get a new meal made and a full soda cup. They gave no excuse and no apology. Instead I got dirty looks from the women making the French fries (couldnt even give me fresh fries) and when I asked if they could give me a full soda, they said nothing, just took the cup from my hand, and out more soda in it. Didnt even ask what kind of soda it was. Didnt give me a new soda with fresh ice. Just handed it to me and walked away with an attitude like I was the problem. This isnt the first time Ive had an issue with whoever works nights over there. I typically dont complain, but I mean, you charge me .20 cents plus .33 cents tax, just to get cheese on a kids meal, and I cant even get a hot meal and. Fresh full Small soda?! Since when is 6.75percent tax on 20 cents equal 33 cents? Anyway No smiles. No apologies. No friendly customer service. No excuses or reasons. Nothing. Just dirty looks and attitude. Come to the drive thru and it is not working, yet they did not have a sign up so they left people sitting there. Then I was giving my order which was rung up wrong, but no fault to the man taking my order as they were doing work inside, you think they would just close. Then I got an attitude when I was asking what was taking so long with my order. Get my sons cheeseburger and it's plain only cheese, thank goodness he is not allergic to onions...and the fries are drenched in salt. Really people. Used the drive thru to order using an mobile order code for buy 1 get 1 milk shakes. I ordered 1 lg chocolate and 1 lg 1/2 chocolate 1/2 half strawberry both with no whip cream. what I was handed was a lg chocolate with whipped cream and a medium 1/2 and 1/2 without whipped cream. When I pointed out the error of the whipped cream and the fact of one lg and one medium, the clerk took them back and then proceeded to just scoop off the whipped cream and left the drink short and then handed them back to me. I left and when I got home I realized that she gave me them medium back. So I went back and asked to speak to the manager named "NICK" and complained. He stood there and told me that that is what I ordered and that he had taken the order. After a little back and forth arguing with me he took the shakes back and then I think he told them to take their time because it took almost 5 minutes to get replacements that still fell short of full. This is the worst McDonald's in S. Jersey. I will now take my business to either Northfield or Pleasantville. This place in EHT either ignores you gets your order wrong in the drive thru or the Flavored milkshakes are down. This place really needs customer service training and a new Manager. read more

Don't be a 24/7 drive through if there's gonna be a 15 minute wait at 2am!!!!!! When I pulled up 4 people were ahead of me, waited 15 minutes for only two cars to get done and I didn't even get my food because I wasn't waiting another 15!!! It's my local McDonald's and it is the worst one I've been to. You get one of 2 things either the order is wrong or the food is not good. Horrible experience. I pulled into the drive thru at around 9:45 to order some food. I had ordered a 20 piece nugget with sweet and sour sauce, 2 mchickens, 2 medium fries, 2 medium spires and 2 apple pies. First thing. When I had ordered the apple pies they told me it would take 12 minutes to make and asked me if I was sure I wanted them, I said yes. Then I overheard a little one of the employees complaining about it. Then when I went to the window to pay the cashier asked again if I was sure I wanted the apple pies. I again said yes. She showed behavior that I read off as annoyed. I moved on and got me food. Cold fries. The fries weren't even filled to the top of a medium, no napkin in the bag and they forgot my nugget sauce. I live close to this store and I purposely drive into Pleasantville for McDonald's to avoid this store. The workers are not very welcoming or friendly - far from friendly. I always have simple orders - sausage mcgriddle, HAMburger, etc.... Always wrong. During breakfast hours I order two things: a sausage mcgriddle and a sausage bagel. I have to tell them 4 times only sausage and bagel - specify nothing but the sausage and bagel and I ALWAYS end up with breakfast sauce, egg, or cheese. During Shammy season - I ordered a chocolate shake and it tasted like a shamrock shake! I called about it and they told me there is nothing they can do and they wouldn't do a refund! This place is awful and I no longer visit. I wish I knew the girl's name who works at night because she is the ONLY nice worker I have ever dealt with there. read more

Had a semi last minute birthday gathering there for my daughter tonight, ended up being quite a few kids. The staff was great very accommodating, and friendly. Manager, I think, he was wearing a suit, was so nice and had all of our food out really quickly. I know it's just Mcdonalds but there is something to be said about great customer service where ever you go, even if it's only fast food. Thank you very much!! read more
