This is a fairly new McDonalds and is very clean. It has a small playplace that is modern and clean. Their Wi-Fi is strong and actually reaches to the Kroger gas station next door. It's drive thru is a split-lane system (splits into a left and right order speaker) which I'm becoming a fan of because one person taking a long time to order doesn't slow up the system. In fact, I order so fast that I can usually pass cars that are slow to order. I'm rating this based off other McDonalds and not against other resteraunts. After all we all know what a McDonalds is. I took off a star for one main reason. I go through the drive-thru every day and get two drinks. A Dr. Pepper for myself and a Diet Coke for my wife. And more than half the time they get the two mixed up, So I get a lid marked "P" for Pepper and it's a Diet Coke. This really destroys my one guilty pleasure of the day because of the after taste. I think this is a problem because of their new automated machines where the cups after going through a conveyer belt wind up backwards when looking at the machines labels. You just need to take one look to understand how this happens. But the real problem comes when they don't even mark the lids and I ask which one is which. You can see a panic look in their eyes, and then they guess... almost always wrong. I assume they feel like by the time you take your first swig you will be down the road and not their problem. For that reason I took off a star, but I still go by there everyday for my jolt of caffine. I also took off another star because of the following... I went through the drive thru and ordered my usual Dr. Pepper plus some fries. When I tasted my drink it was all soda water. It happens, the tanks go empty without warning. So I drove back and walked in telling them the problem. They told me it would take 10 minutes to change the tank. I told them I would go to the gas station next door, fill-up my tank, and come back. 15 minutes later I came back and they hadn't even started swithing the tanks. So I had to wait 10 more minutes. They could not get the system working for the Dr. Pepper and asked if I wanted another drink. I told them "no", expecting to get an offer of a refund or a food substitution instead... but all I got was a blank look and a "sorry". I was actually a little miffed and just wanted to get out of there and hit the Wendy's across the street. So I paid Wendy's two-dollars for a Dr.Pepper and then realized that my fries were too cold to eat. So I wound up paying around $5 and wasting over half an hour just to get a drink. For that reason I took off another star. But to be fair, the employees are very friendly. And McDonalds across the board generally has the best fountain drinks anywhere. That is why I always go there instead of to the gas station which is closer and where fountain drinks are cheaper. read more

Don't waste your hard-earned money at the new Seven Hills location. Poor service and once I expressed my displeasure, not only did I have to wait over 10 minutes for them to bring out my order, the order was wrong. Of course I had already left the restaurant. Went back to complain, and Mgr was too busy. Called the number on the sign expressing "your satisfaction is important to us" only to get a recording that they don't answer calls after noon on Fridays, or Saturday/Sunday, please send an email. So I emailed my issues and its been a week and no one has reached out or responded. Its disturbing to see this behavior shortly after opening. But then again, it appears the staff is a direct reflection of the poor management. read more

Never eat here! They suck. I ordered door dash and the order arrived with no large fries, (I ordered two combos), no straws for the drinks, no strawberry pie. I have tried giving them the benefit of the doubt but steer clear. They don't care about getting orders right, if they did it would not continue to happen. Picked up via drive thru. Ordered 2 Quarter pounders with cheese and large fries. ($15 shocker) Was asked to pull up & wait for food. Waited for 10 minutes before food was brought out. During this time many cars received their orders and left. We took our food home and as we bit into each Quarter pounder noticed how undercooked they were. Fries were cold. They earned zero stars! We had already had our food at the point when the most outlandish thing occurred. It was around 9:20pm. One of the workers told my buddy that if we let anyone else in the restaurant they would kick us out. We thought they were joking because this is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard be said to a customer. So as we eat a group of kids approach the restaurant. Out of good-heartedness my buddy opened the door for them and let the group of kids in. The manager then yells at us saying "He told you not to let anyone in, yall can get out!" Didn't even allow us to finish our food and kicked us out of the restaurant. On the way out, my other buddy said "getting kicked out of McDonalds is crazy" and the manager yelled from across the store "What you say!" in a combative tone. I live in the area and have stopped eating at this McDonalds. The service is always terrible. The servers are uninterested and rude to the patrons. The kiddy is always dirty and overall dining experience is not worth it. I have spoken to the managers and they too, do not seem to care. I can't believe I'm writing a McDonald's review but this was that bad. First... McD is supposed to start lunch at 10:30AM. Well, I got there at 11:00AM and was told their lunch starts at 11:30AM... okay, I'l have a sausage burrito? Oh, you're out of those? ... ... so I ended up ordering one sandwich which took appx. 10 minutes. Dirty tables. Dirty floors. And why is it FREEZING?! My drive thrill order was almost completely wrong. I ordered 2 sausage McMuffins, 2 sausage biscuits, Hot cakes, bacon egg and cheese biscuit and a large coffee with 7 cream and 7 Splenda. I was told to pull up and wait for my food. I didnt get my coffee, biscuits or McMuffins. I got no syrup or utensils for the hot cakes. I did get two steak biscuits that I didn't order and my kids wouldn't eat . A great way to start the day. $17 of food that nobody wanted. The reason for 4 stars is they had the handicap spots blocked with pallets. I'm handicap and on bad weather days I need to be as close as I can be today being one of those days. Have had mostly negative experiences at this location- They need to hire a maintenance person because the inside and outside is Very dirty. There are some kind of cocoon things hanging off the drive thru speakers and they have been there for months. The evening and weekend staff are primarily high school age and they are not very friendly and tend to mess your order up. This location needs to be taken over by McDonald's Corporate to get it back up to company standards because it had gone way downhill! Drive through line is always terrible. You may wait in one line while no one acknowledges you and 3-4 cars go through the other line. Only a few of the staff even acknowledge you or smile. Last three Saturdays in a row we went through the drive through and something was left out. Charged me for a hash brown and I didn't get it. No butter or syrup for my hotcakes. The next weekend somehow they were out of syrup? Plus they charged me for a sausage biscuits and I got home and it wasn't in the bag. You're better off driving to the one across from Governor's Town Square. The one on Dallas Acworth corner is worked by a bunch of young kids on the weekends with no adult managers to supervise the poor poor service. read more

I would give it 0 stars if I could. This McDonald's seems to be very poorly managed. The drive thru orders that I have purchased are seldom correct. The indoor service is very poor and the employees seem to be unconcerned about their customers. Prior to a couple of weeks ago when Martins Restaurant opened within walking distance of McDonald's there was no competition. I have eaten here many times as my son enjoys the play area. Its a newer building and clean. The food is good, though the orders are oftentimes incorrect. I understand it's hard to keep trained staff in the fast food business though. Each time Ive been there, whether I had a problem with my order or not, the whole staff has been friendly and polite which is rare in the fast food business nowadays. I'll happily continue to eat there a lot, though I'll keep double checking my orders at the drive through window. read more

WORST McDonald's ever! We have made the mistake of going to this McDonald's many times over the past several years only because of it's extremely convenient location, each time hoping it will be different, only to be sadly, and frustratingly disappointed yet again! Inside service is incredibly slow - almost 20 minutes to get a chicken sandwich meal with fries and double cheeseburger with side salad. Both sandwiches cold because they had them sitting on the counter waiting for fries and salad. Husband finally reminded counter folks that our sandwiches were getting cold and all we needed were the sides - they then put fries on and said they were still working on the salad. After waiting several more minutes, while eating our cold sandwiches, my husband went back up to find out where the side salad was - it was sitting on the back counter. The floor in front of the drink station was a lake, Sweet Tea and ketchup dispensers were both empty and the seats and tables were dirty (very old crumbs and dead flies). I truly wish I could say all of this was an exception to the norm, unfortunately I can't as this IS the norm. Luckily, there is now a Wendy's and a Taco Bell nearby, which are both leagues better in service, cleanliness and quality. We can only recommend STAYING AWAY from this McDonald's as we will going forward. No more chances from us. read more

Fun fact: the closing time for this particular McDonald's is actually 11:30. The doors and websites might say otherwise but rest assured that you will not get service after 11:30.
