I give McDonald's 5 star because I ordered two thing and I got an additional cheeseburger and a large fry. McDonald's is pretty good.

The guy at the register this morning was very rude and condescending with no customer service skills. You need to do a better job of weeding workers out that don't want to work. I do not recommend this McDonalds. read more

Just wanted to give a big shout out to the Lady who works the morning shift during the week I dont know her name but she wheres a pony tail and takes Orders and she is about 40ish I think anyway, she is always so nice! Ok it gives me no joy to write this as i have fond memories of working at mcdonalds as a teenager in high school. Yet what happened was kind of sad and frustrating as i remember taking pride in doing things right and making cones and sundae's was one of the more fun parts of the job when i was a teenager. So I ordered two strawberry sundae's as well as a cone. Yet as I pull up to the pick up window the employee has the Sundae's in one hand to either side and they are spilling out of the lids both the ice cream and strawberry sauce. I point this out to her and ask her to kindly make new ones that are not dripping so she goes to the corner out of eye signt. So i pull up a little further to change my visual perscpective and she is trying to clean them up with her hands and napkins. Not exactly appetizing so I figured go inside so as to not hold up the line and get them made fresh right in front of me as clearly she is not wanting to re make them so better to have them done to make sure they are a lilttle hygenic. So I go in and tell them she tells me that they are out of mix! So I ask for a refund they call over the manager LAUREN. Now Lauren looked irritated that she was called out. She takes one look at the order board to see what I ordered and goes to the register to get me my refund. So she hands me the refund reciept as well as my money and noticed that she refunded for plain Sundae vs. the strawberry type. I point that out to her and she says that is the right amount; and promptly returns to the back. I go to my car and get my reciept and return; I know passive aggressive when I see it and that is exactly that. One of the employees finally calls out Lauren I show her the reciept and then i get the exact refund. Now I know it sounds petty but these were for my wife who was craving these things and I have nothing to show for it. So long story short if you ever want something made right that can be potentially messy do it at the counter vs drive through. Lauren was not concerned what the problem was or that this could be a training opportunitty for her employees. She just wanted to get this over and go to the back office and not be bothered. When I get a change I will probably post the before reciept and after reciept. So first they take away the chocolate dip option of the cones and now they can't do Sundae's right. I spent over 25 min in the drive thru yesterday, I asked to use the coupon for free fries the girl tells me she doesn't know if they can honor it as a meal but she'll check at the window. She can't figure it out so I tell her to change my order of large fries for medium that it's fine and actually better that way. She doesn't even acknowledge my suggestion and called her manager, Lauren, who told the team member to change my meal to a large and then change one fry to a medium. All this without acknowledging my presence or explaining what was going on. When I get to the next window I am handed my drinks including the medium lemonaid that was charged as a large. I ask the very nice girl at this window what the medium meal cost and I am told it's $4.89 yet my receipt pictured shows I was charged $6.48. I tell her I need to know what this is about since it's not what I ordered and explained what happened at the prior window. She gets Lauren who tells me she changed it to a large to be able to make the medium fries free and that she was giving me the best deal she could. I tell her, I don't understand how, yes the fries are free but I'm now paying $1.59 for one of my meals. She then says "what do you want me to do two trans actions then" I tell her if that's what it takes to get it right, she then stares at me for a minute and asks if I really want her to refund me and do that and I said yes. Lauren then takes the recipit to another register, 5 mins later comes for my card and then after about 10 more mins she brings me my card and hands me my receipt. While this all is going on I can hear the crew talking about me, saying, " it's just $3" & "that's crazy" & "I'm on her side she isn't getting what she asked for". As I left there were 6 or 7 cars waiting for their food as this was getting resolved because I wasn't moved to the waiting area. When I checked my account nothing was refunded. So disappointed in this place, wish I could give zero stars. Even tho its the closest to my house l will never ever be coming back, especially as long as Lauren works there. The drive-thru is unbelievably slow. It's upsetting how slow it is because it is conveniently close to my house and the 91 freeway.

Only reason I go to this McDonald's is because it's the closest. It's also possibly the worst. They've gotten my order wrong a number of times. I have kids and they NEVER have the correct happy meal toys. It's always an old toy. Went through the drive though about a hour ago and ordered quite a bit of food. One thing on my order was a 6 piece chicken nugget kids meal. When I placed my order the lady on the speaker told me they didn't have anymore chicken nuggets. I was in complete shock, it's flipping McDonald's! Then I asked "do you guys have tenders then" she said "yes" I then asked if I could swap they could replace the nuggets for the tenders. She asked the manger in duty who is Lauren and she said they couldn't accommodate me. I was floored, i have worked in the food industry for years and that was just completely terrible. If you are out of something you should be able to accommodate your guest as best as possible! I have a daughter who won't eat anything f but nuggets!! She then goes to tell me the nuggets will be done in 10 min! No I'm not waiting for that so I cancelled my whole order! I then pull up to the window ask to speak with Lauren the manager who did not come and speak with me instead she told Shannon who was helping me at the window that the nuggets are done now. So I replaced my order and got my nugget meal. I come to this McDonald's multiple times a week and normally don't have any problems. The customer service tonight was terrible and not acceptable. Worst drive-thru experience ever. Nearly 20 minute wait for two drinks - which were melting by the time we got them. Obviously they were poured and sitting on the counter way before we could even get to the pickup window. My Boyfriend came here today for lunch. His burger was cold, the bun was stale and the meat was dry. When he asked them to replace it he got a bunch of crap from the girl working and Manager Dave. When the girl came and brought him his replacement.......... she said "that is it we are not cooking you more after this, it cost us money". I said forget it I want my money back I have been a Manager in 4 McDonalds in England, I know exactly how much this cost. I asked for my money back and went to the counter the manager on duty "DAVE" was extremely abrupt and said "did you pay by cash or credit" no apology. I'm so upset as I go to the drive thru about 9:30pm and ordered a sausage mcmuffin with egg and a hashbrown. I get home and open up my bag and I find the hashbrown that must've been from this morning and just re-cooked over and over again because you couldn't even see a hint of potato. The breakfast sandwich was totally burnt all around and my 1st thought was throw it away since it wasn't even edible. But after spending about $6.00 I thought, nope I'm taking this back for a refund so that who ever was in charge could see the food that their employees are serving to paying customers! I just waited for twenty five minutes to place my order at the speaker with only one other car at the pick up window in front of me. Once I finally placed my order with a rude non apologetic female worker I pulled forward and proceeded to wait ten more minutes for the two girls who I'm hoping where training because they chatted the entire time and where in what looked like pajamas to tell me they are only accepting cash and cards aren't working.
