To what he says, they deserve 10 stars, not 5 stars. Bravo to Burger Palace for providing good, decent, and best food for inmates at Corcoran prison. King's gives you what you order and fills the order just as you would expect. When ordering a large fry they fill the bag and dump extra in the food bag. When you order their chicken strip dinner, they make sure your strips are a good size or they will put an extra one in to make the order good. Their hamburgers are large, and you actually feel like when you order from them you are getting a meal. They are fast and efficient. Their shakes are the BEST!!! I would encourage anyone in the area to try them.

After not going for a couple months, I decided to go back and get good old milkshake. I placed my order thinking I was going to get my large 32 ounce milkshake in a Styrofoam cup. You could've knocked me over when I was handed a 20 ounce paper cup. I told the lady that I ordered a large milkshake. She said that was their large milkshake. I reluctantly paid and left. When I stuck the straw in and took my first taste, I was expecting a milkshake not flavored milk as it had already melted in the three minutes that I had had the milkshake in my hand. So as times change where larges get smaller and prices increase, I can no longer see myself visiting kings drive-through any longer

They have a beautiful still and the distillery and brewery equipment are all on display alongside the restaurant and bar. Fairly typical small town bar & grill layout. On this day, we ordered at the bar. I'm not sure if that's always the case. We got a variety of entrees and all six of us liked our meals. Tri-tip steak sandwich, French Dip, tacos, fish and chips, and I got frog legs and deviled eggs from the apps menu. Everything was tasty. However, they only had 3 of their own beers on tap and no tastings available of their spirits. Said their brewer and distiller hadn't been in for quite awhile so production was behind. I wish them well as they work thru their absences and ailments. The two beers I tried, a porter and a schwarzbier, were ok. So, right now, it's a fine eatery, but a disappointing brewery & distillery.

The owner needs to do better when it comes to service." My wife and I have been here six or seven times and have noticed the service has been steadily going downhill. This place was empty, and the server behind the bar was accommodating when there wasn't anything more pressing, like answering the phone. Our party of four ordered four entrees, two appetizers, and some beer and sodas. My beer flight and my wife's beer came out lukewarm. When the appetizers came out with the meal, the server told me that if I wanted the appetizers before the entrees, I should have told her when I placed the order. (She didn't bother to ask when I wanted them.) She doesn't seem to understand that an appetizer is a dish of food served before the main course of a meal to stimulate one's appetite. My sides of tater tots were so cold, I took them back to the counter to get reheated. I was very disappointed in my Tuesday lunch. Hopefully, you will have better luck than us.

At the time my family and I lived in Earlimart and anytime we would go shopping we would head up north and this burger spot was one of our regular spots. It has changed a bit inside and all the surrounding buildings. The inside looks a little more modern. They don't have that root beer machine anymore, it just looks like an antique display now. The jukebox was still there and all the pictures on the walls were still the same. Inside was pretty clean, the downside is when we visited the restrooms were closed and my son had to walk to the gas station next door. Service was just okay. Staff was fast, we didn't have to wait long for our food. There was literally no one there when we dined in, but as soon as our food came out, I turned around and several tables were taken. I didn't realize that A&W got busy like that. After so many years, A&W is still good!

So, I had high hopes for this place, but overall it was a bit of a letdown. I ordered 8 tacos (6…read moreasada, 1 chorizo, 1 chicharrón), 1 burrito, and 1 crunchy asada taco. The asada tacos actually had decent flavor -- although the meat was a little on the salty side. Not a deal breaker, but noticeable. The chorizo taco? Honestly, tasted just like the kind you buy at any grocery store and cook at home -- nothing special at all. I was hoping for that rich, house-made taste, but nope. The chicharrón taco was probably the most disappointing -- it was basically a cuerito taco. No real meat, just soft skin, so not what I was expecting. But what really killed the experience for me was the salsa situation. They gave me just two small containers of salsa for everything. The red one was tasty, and the green one was basic but good -- but come on, two little salsas for 8 tacos and a burrito? No limes, no radishes, nothing to help bring the tacos together. We ended up trying to ration the salsa, and without enough, the tacos felt dry. Everyone knows a taco needs to have that salsa dripping down and a good squeeze of lime to really come alive -- otherwise, it's just meat on a tortilla. I'm giving it 3 stars because the asada tacos had potential. But the overall execution, especially the lack of salsa and sides, really brought the meal down. Probably won't be rushing back.
