This is a really nice restaurant, it's spacious and clean--one of the best McDonald's I've been to. However, their drive through is super busy and if you go inside, you will wait for a least 20 minutes. The manager let the customers know that they were short staffed; however, they should try to make an effort to acknowledge the guests at the front staff. The staff was very concentrated on the drive through. I would have to say my food was hot and I appreciated that. This was a quick stop as I was traveling to PA. I'm not mad at the experience because my food was good; however, I am big on customer service. read more

This is what happens when you order LARGE fries (6/2/25, 12:30pm) but don't look in the bag until after you've driven away..... container barely HALF full. And no, the rest of the fries weren't in the bottom of the bag either. This location is consistently about 50% on getting simple one or two item orders correct (or filled). Better taste your drink and check your bag before pulling away from the drive thru. Sad. read more

McDonald's - LARGE order of fries??? HA! - Burgers Near Me - Columbia City, Indiana

my friend and i pulled up and both managers were standing outside, we proceeded to order at the drive thru, when met with an incoherent employee. we very clearly stated our order like 3 times and for some reason he kept adding extra stuff to the order. eventually the managers came back in and took our order, and explained that it was the employees second day. so that explains why he had a hard time, but even then you shouldn't put a brand new employee on the headset and leave them unattended. but once we pulled thru they gave us our drinks 3/4 of the way full and forgot all our sauces. i don't recommend this location. read more

McDonald's - Root Beer - Burgers Near Me - Columbia City, Indiana

Stopped there to try the chicken Big Mac and just from the first bite it was so good , the chicken was crispy like a big chicken nugget. They used the same sauce that is use with the hamburger version of the Big Mac it really complimented the sandwich well. The chicken patties were a little thicker than the beef patty version but it wasn't too thick , I'd say it was just the right thickness. All in all it was a good filling burger with fries and a med coke. what took so long to create this delicious burger, Mickey D's ? read more

This is by far the best McDonalds i have ever been to. Their food is always hot and assembled nicely, unlike others that throw the meat on randomly, staggered or half off of the sandwich. I live 25 miles away in Huntington, IN. I drive to this McDonalds when we want a big mac. The service is always great. Very pleasant experience. I love the fact that they are open 24 hrs. Keep up the good work. read more

very very slow, got my order completely wrong, not just once, but twice, and their service is worse than terrible. avoid if possible. I hate Burger King, and they are better than this location. How hard is it to make a plain cheeseburge. read more

They never get your order right. They always ask you to pull forward so they can get a "good time" I ordered an unsweetened tea...and got the sweetest tea I've ever tasted. read more

we were on our way back to indiana from dayton, oh. we stopped here for a bathroom break and some quick lunch. we ordered on the kiosk and did note that the dining room was buzzing quite a bit. we sat for a while, and once it hit 20 minutes of waiting we went to the counter. we had to stand there for a while (beside some other people who were also waiting for over 20 minutes) before somebody even noticed us. finally some girl came over and was quite condescending about them "being understaffed" when we counted over 10 employees. not to mention, the drive thru was moving consistently, and a bunch of people who came in after us had got their food before us. we told her we had been waiting 30+ minutes, to which she responded again in a very rude attitude that they were understaffed. being understaffed is no excuse to have families waiting 40 minutes for food. we got a refund for our food and the girl who helped with that was quiet but seemed to feel sorry. we see now why this place has a 2.2 star on google. do NOT go here. the manager was in the back helping with the drive thru and did not once come to the front counter to apologize to the multiple families who had been waiting 30+ minutes with over 5 kids each. read more

It's McDonalds. Usually get through the drive thru quickly at this location. Staff is fine and food is as expected.

I had a very high hopes for a newly rebuilt McDonald's. I walked in at 5:03 and ordered my two large Diet Coke's. At 5:32 I finally walked out with my two large Diet Coke's. It seems now you are put in the queue with the drive-through along with everyone else inside! So what that it's only drinks you still have to wait! Absolutely asinine!!! I am not happy I will be driving to Warsaw to get my diet Cokes from Columbia city. Crazy read more

Worst McD's food EVER! Stopped there at 4 am en route to airport. Bacon egg & cheese bagels were so hard we couldn't eat them. They were cold and obviously had sat. Couldn't eat them read more

App seldomly works. Apparently short-handed is employees currently there are rude as hell and almost impossible to deal with. No idea of how the food is currently is no matter how bad you try to get it, they will figure out a way to keep that from happening. read more

Had to give a shout out because the drive through gives out puppy treats!! Great touch!

I was aggressively accused of stealing food from this place by a really passive aggressive lady on third shift who I feel like was trying to gaslight me into starting a fight with her. I haven't been back since because of how uncomfortable that interaction was for my fiancé and I. 3 stars for the food always been pretty good, and everyone else there being really helpful. One bad apple sucks but It doesn't ruin everything. It was just honestly the worst customer service experience I've ever been part of and I work in customer service. read more

The food here was about what you'd expect. Service was a little slow. It looked very dated and needs renovated. Overall a average McDonald's experience. read more

McDonald's - Canadian Bacon Mcmuffin - Burgers Near Me - Columbia City, Indiana

Food is greasy and not good. Dirty eating area and will just stick to the drive through!

This McDonald's is the worst!!!! The bathrooms are nasty as hell. Smells like those hut houses. And flies everywhere! I wonder if it passed health inspections. read more

The building needs to be renovated and updated on the outside. When you go thru the drive thru the building looks like it is in the inner city. The pavement is very uneven with many pot holes Needs updating badly...wonder what the inside looks like? read more

My orders are usually right but never napkins!! Service usually sucks. The dude who works back cash that always sits is rude as hell. He implied I was a stripper one night bc I paid in all ones (I was a server at the time) read more

EVERYTIME i go through the drive thru i order a sweet tea and they manage to give me an unsweet tea. It's frustrating bc sometimes I'm in a hurry to get to work n i don't have time to go back through or inside to switch it out. Other than that, I'm a regular that comes all the time, two ladies that always work remember who i am, one we have small talk while I'm paying, and down at the other window, the one lady always knows i want ketchup for my hash brown i don't even need to ask anymore! I give them a 4 star review only because they give me unsweet tea which disgusts me. read more

It just got updated (more of a downgrade). There is no menu above the main counter. The kiosks are not easy to use. Not all of the menu items show up. The design is not good. If someone of older age wanted to order at the counter, they would have to walk in the door and then walk past all of the seats to get to the counter. This is because one of the doors is exit only. I believe that there are several improvements that could be made; the old version was much, much better. read more

We ordered a cheeseburger plain and a McChicken plain. Instead we got two McChickens with mayo. Horrible service.

Food is usually great, however the other day in drive thru I wanted to get large waters with our 2 value meals and I told them I'd pay for them, and the lady was extremely rude and wouldn't let me pay for water. I had to waste about 20 extra minutes by going in to order and filling my own large cups with water. read more

If I could leave a negative review for this place I would. Went there again tonight and once again they got the order wrong. Long wait times and crappy service, save your money and patience and go someplace else. read more

This is the nastiest McDonald's I've ever been in. There were flies everywhere!!! The trash cans were over flowing in the dining area, tables had not been cleaned. We went to the restrooms and there was trash all over the floor, the trash cans were over flowing and had dirty diapers laying on top of the trash cans because there was no place else to put them. Flies were crawling all over the toilet seats and floors. My children asked to leave before they even finished their food because of the flies and have said they never want to eat there again. We won't be back. read more

This doesn't even deserve one star. I was patiently waiting to order when a employee stared at me and continued to do whatever they were doing, my friend and I were waiting for honestly 10 minutes at the register, when finally we have been helped, then waiting on our food for another 10 minutes (they were completely dead because it was 11:30 ish pm) and instead of getting our food they were all huddled around looking at someone's phone and having a good old time instead of helping people, I am patient but not if you are going to acknowledge me then turn around and not help, HORRIBLE customer service, hire better employees instead of hiring anyone oh and they also cussed extremely loud a lot as well. read more
