Your Quarter Pounder with Long Wait and Extra Attitude is ready. Placed my order online using the McDonalds app beforehand. Checked in upon arrival at the mobile reserved spot. Business was light, with only a few customers inside and two cars at the drive-thru. Fifteen minute wait and no food. I walked inside to see if there was a problem. I had to wait in line for a few minutes since employees were standing about and only one was helping customers. When I got to the front of the line, an employee walked around the counter and toward the front door holding a bag. I asked her if that was the online order. It was. She handed it to me and started to walk away. I asked where the drink was. She walked behind the counter again and handed me an empty cup. Really? I had to go to the self serve drink station and get my own drink. The ice maker was empty. The coke .. wasn't. Not sure what it tasted like but maybe a whole new flavor cola drink? Not a fan. Don't. Just don't even! I live in Clinton and won't go back. My Sunday morning experience: drive-thru line wrapped around and into the frontage road. I go inside and am 6th in line with one staff taking orders, but frequently away from counter. Lots of staff, all moving slowly, looking at line without a care. Finally another staff opens a 2nd line. 4 minutes after arriving I'm greeted coldly. I wait 8 minutes for my order. I get back in line and request a refund. "Oh, your order is back here!" But they'd never called my number, and the bag, when they'd announced it, wasn't complete, so I'd assumed it wasn't mine. I insisted on a refund. Was given a refund without any sort of apology. Even slow service could be tolerated if accompanied by a smile, a thank you, and an apology. read more

McDonald's in Clinton needs to add a 3rd drive through window where you can return your order because it is always wrong. I simply refuse to eat here anymore. This place will screw up your order up while making you wait 20 mins in the drive through, if they even take your order because they always seem to be "not taking orders at the moment". We stood at the counter for a long time before someone came to help us while they all saw us and avoided eye contact and when they actually did help us all they said was "what's wrong". Yes, it is a fast food place. But McD usually has a code of conduct that they put all their management through, except for this place. Service was bad. One of the worst experiences at McDonalds! McDonalds, it has become a place you can usually rely on getting some ok food at an ok price. When you're on vacation and driving long distances you can usually find a McDonalds and expect to grab a quick bite and be back on the road without too much trouble. I guess we found one of the worst McDonalds and were unlucky enough to be hungry at the time. We pulled up to the drive thru menu board and ordered a big mac meal and some chicken nuggets, dr pepper to drink and med size the fries. Just a simple meal that isn't hard to prepare and usually tastes ok and keeps us full until it's time for our next meal. I'm not sure if the employees just don't care or the management doesn't really care or what's going on at this McDonalds but this place serves the worst food ever! We pulled up to the drive thru window and as we were handed our drinks the drive thru employee told us their ice machine was broken so the drinks were warm. What? You are just now telling us this after we took the time to wait in line, took the time to order our entire meal with special request, go thru the pay window and after all of that you just now tell me that my drink is going to be warm!! What a complete waste of my time! I took the drink in the hopes I could salvage this meal and maybe stop by a gas station to get some ice but that never happened, those drinks were quickly thrown into the nearest gas station trash can. I grabbed my food and drove away, irritated that they waited until I got to the last window to tell me about the drinks. As we were driving I reached into the bag and pulled out the chicken nuggets. My hope was they cooked these like other McDonalds and that at least this would save the day since it's a simple item and easy to cook. Nope, they found a way to screw up chicken nuggets. They were rubbery and tasted like they had been there since yesterday, the temperature was medium, not even hot and the taste was actually kind of weird. My last hope was my big mac. I should have just thrown all of it in the same trash can as the warm sodas. The big mac tasted just as bad as the chicken nuggets. Never again! This place has kept me from going to any other McDonalds since all I can think about is the horrible experience I had. I don't know if I'll ever be able to eat McDonalds again. read more

For the past three months, I have attempted the apparently impossible at the McDonald's in Clinton. All I want is a McGriddle meal (#10) with a coffee. Does that sound hard? Well, apparently it must be. I have failed three times, for various reasons, all pertaining to staff being absolutely, positively, definitely the stupidest things to inhabit the surface of the Earth. I'M SORRY...that I chose this McDonald's ...I counted 12 heads in the preparation area... All of the same race... They all had long hair hanging about their face or shoulders... None wore a hair net...I did not see anyone with rubber/sanitary gloves as they prepared the food....I ordered a Big Mac that had to be prepared by an untrained worker...also a quarter pounder and French fries that was acceptable... Also (2) two sundaes.... They made the sundaes first and they sat on the counter while the rest of the order was prepared...the sundaes became drinkable milkshakes while waiting for the burgers and fries......I'm sure all McDonald's are not the same.... I have never in my life seen a restroom AT A RESTAURANT so damn filthy. I didn't even get a chance to eat here because of how grossed out I was by the bathroom, and really the entire place. It really makes you question how clean their kitchen area is when there are flies all over the place, piss and hair all over the bathroom, and sh** SMEARED ON THE WALL. Which makes sense, since the restroom was out of toilet paper and probably had been for some time, the poor customer probably just had to make do.
