It took nearly 45 mins for my food to arrive, only for me to receive the wrong order. I ordered the veggie burger and received a beef burger instead. However, the waitress was quick to remedy this, and had the correct order within a few minutes afterwards. The food was very filling and tasted fresh. Maybe I just went here on a bad night, but if it's slow like this all the time, be prepared for a long wait. Slow service, but at least the waiters and waitresses are friendly.

The fries weren't greasy, they were generous with the fromage and the gravy was perfect. Gravy is key to making a good poutine. Our second meal involved club sandwiches with a side of fries; again, the fries were great and the club sandwich was excellent. They offer a good variety of other eats too, like burgers, grilled cheese and hot dogs. Service: Good. Price point: I can't remember the exact prices but they were pretty decent, especially when compared to some of the other restaurants in the village. It can be hard to spot if you're not looking for it, as it's just a small stop on the side of the road. It seems like it's popular among locals, as we saw a few people who left the restaurant on foot and a bicyclist. They have a little terrasse, which is a nice option in the summer. We shared a large bacon and sausage poutine, which satisfied my poutine craving in a way it has never before. I usually feel bloated and disgusting after eating poutine, but all I felt was joy and elation. The cheese was as squeaky as could be, and the gravy perfected coated EVERY SINGLE FRY. It's not unusual to be served a poutine with gravy slabbed on the top, so that you end up with sad dry fries at the bottom. NO DRY FRIES. Also, the outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy and hot. And this was all topped off with a very generous serving of sausage and bacon! If you are in the area, Chez Aline is a MUST. NO DRY FRIES!!!!!!
