I came thru the drive thru and pulled up to the window and this short little curly red head was so rude she had a very bad attitude and barely said a word to me, barley even acknowledged me! As a former manager at this McDonald's, I'm disappointed by how far this location has fallen. From what I personally witnessed, some employees vaped during shifts and ate food in front of customers instead of working professionally. I purchased food thru the McDonalds App. Arrived and gave my code. Clerks said the had no order with code, had to place a new order and pay again. I showed the clerk at the window the App with the paid receipt that showed the correct location and then the manager, she then charged me and told me I had to file a claim with corporate. I filed a claim and they kick the can down the road with vague emails stating they are looking into it and then deny it saying no response. read more

I come here often. Generally pretty good but prices havd gotten out of control where a breakfast value meal will almost cost 10$. The prices are that of a higher end burger joint with mid to low quality of food. Id recommend somewhere else until prices drop. The quality just isnt there to justify eating here. This used to be one of the best McDonald's around. Right after the renovation the place was clean, the orders were right, and for McDonald's the food was really good. The drive thru was also very quick. Now, if you make the mistake of waiting through the line around the building, you can pull up to order in the drive thru and no one will even say anything. They do not even want to take your order. Then once you wait another eternity you'll get your food. And it's either wrong, cold, old, or otherwise terrible. Dining in is a similar disappointment. You can be the only one in line and still wait an eternity to even have your order taken. You do get a bit of a Hell's Kitchen experience while you wait though. Whoever is assembling orders is usually melting down that there's no food coming out and everyone else is either dragging their rear end or running around panicked. Some are just a absolute broken compass, they are completely lost. Apart from that though it is very quiet. Fryers aren't frying anything. Grills aren't sizzling. It's no surprise there's zero orders making it out. The last time I was in I never got my order taken at all. I had two people in front of me that walked out after waiting and waiting to their orders taken. I left as well. I don't know what happened to this place but I am 100% done wasting my time and money here. I will never go back. read more

The only place I have ever had to call so they can service the three cars waiting in the drive-thru. The only way this place survives is because of location. Orders wrong, small fry in a large container, cold food, watered down drinks..... If you are going north, stop in Schererville. This place is a joke! Every time I have gone here for some type of ice cream the machine is always being "cleaned" so it's always broken and no one gives a crap. The recent renovation they did to this mcdonalds makes it seem like an entirely new place. For a fast food place the food was quick, the staff very polite, and the restaurant was clean. What gets them the 5/5 was the woman at the counter welcoming me when I walked in and saying goodbye as I left. read more

I have been to this location many times and on several occasions I have witnessed the store manager (I have learned that her name is Nicole) being very condescending to the other employees. It made me uncomfortable as a customer to have witnessed this and I'm sure it was uncomfortable for the other employees. I don't know if she is on a power trip or what but the way she speaks to the staff is very disrespectful.
